@Elliot Price

Lamik Fillestar sprinted through the corridors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The boy had come from the First Year Graduation Party, which had gone terribly wrong. Scolding himself silently, Lamik descended down into the dungeons towards the potions classroom. He was one of the students who had been given the responsibility of Party Coordinator, and he was the only late one. Though he knew it was utter nonsense, Lamik couldn't shake the feeling that if he hadn't been so late he could have stopped the mess before it began. The mess in question, of course, was the out of control enchanted disco balls; they flew around, knocking over tables and slamming into students. For some reason they had the ability to electrocute anyone who touched them- Lamik made a mental note to ask Arc, the main coordinator, about why they could do that.

As he rounded the last corner and spotted the door to the Potions classroom, Lamik went over what Professor Jensen had requested in his mind. Two love potion antidotes for Professor's Browne and Bercegeay, the latter of which he had insulted for being so distracted and was already feeling quite guilty about it. Intending to go and apologize at her office at some point in the future, Lamik slammed the door to the classroom open. He took in an extremely sharp inhale of breath, realizing that the arm he had used hadn't been fully healed by Nora after it had been injured by a backfiring severing charm when pain shot up through the entire side of his body. Nevertheless, he had a job to do, and before even checking to make sure that the Professor he was looking for was inside, the boy called out. "I need to love potion antidotes- and maybe something that eases pain, please. And maybe some extra healing type potions. Great hall. Quickly."

Elliot sat behind his simple wooden desk, a stack of parchments to his left, a red quill in his right hand. Many Professors may have chosen to do their grading within the comfort of thier office, but Elliot preferred the classroom. It was a place of comfort for the middle aged man. His years at Hogwarts were difficult at times, but he had always found solace within the bowels of the castle. It surely wasn’t the prettiest part of the ancient structure, but there was just something about the classroom that he always remembered fondly. The unusual scents rolling off the bubbling concoctions, the way the lighting caught the many different colored vials that adorned the walls, the occasional explosion from a failed brew, it never ceased to capture him.

Elliot frowned slightly as his quill made its final strike across the parchment. Poor bugger. The final score would call for a remedial lesson. Just as he set the assignment aside and began to reach for the next, a clatter of footsteps sounded from the hallway. It wouldn’t be but a moment later before a blonde haired boy burst through the door.

“I need two love potion Antidotes- and maybe something that eases pain, please. And maybe some extra healing type potions. Great Hall. Quickly.”

They boy would be staring into dark brown eyes that peered over circle lenses. A glint of amusement would splash across them as a smirk donned his face. “Love potion antidote? Pain reliever? Healing potions?” His voice was deep but carried a softness to it. “I’ve missed some fun, haven’t I?” He asked with a chuckle as he stood from his desk. “Now tell me boy,” he stated as he made his way over to the storeroom, drawing his keys from his robes. “I assume you have been sent by another Professor?” The lock would click with a turn of the key. Elliot opened it and stood aside, gesturing for the youth to enter. “C’mon lad, in here.”

Lamik rushed deeper into the room and towards the place where he had been called, clutching his arm. Though it took him a while, the boy soon realized that one of the things that Professor Price had said was rather concerning. Here he was, clearly in some sort of pain and very panicked, describing his need for objects that one would only need in the case of an emergency, and the old teacher assumed that he had missed some fun? It seemed as though every day the professors at Hogwarts were getting more and more insane, and Lamik genuinely wondered whether or not the ministry of magic had approved of them.

Lamik didn't feel like he had time to question the man, as even though what he said was slightly disconcerting, Elliot was still far more qualified than him, not to mention him being an adult. "Oh- uh, ya. Professor Jensen. She sent me from the great hall." Lamik nodded before adding: "She only asked for the love potion antidotes though. The pain reliever is for me and the healing ones- well I figured the injured kids would need them." He spoke quickly, tripping over his words from time to time as he told the older man all the important details he could think of. "Oh and maybe something for electrocution? Disco balls went insane or something. Started shocking and attacking people. Professor Browne and Professor Bercegeay were acting weird- that's why we need the love potions."

Elliot stood to the side, his right arm holding the door to the storeroom open for the boy. His reaction to the urgency may have been a bit unusual. Children his age were probably quite used to adults dropping everything at the first sign of trouble. However, years of working as a Healer at St. Mungo’s had brought every kind of disaster known to Wizard kind to Elliot’s doorstep. It may have...dulled his reaction to trauma.

“Professor Jensen, eh? Well right away then. And some pain reliever for you...” He allowed the boy to enter first. As he passed his keen eyes would spot wound on the boy’s arm. “Nasty gash you have there, let me see.” Elliot would hold his hand out for the boy to present his arm. “Hmm...I’ll get you sorted.” Elliot turned to a nearby shelf, staring over his round spectacles as he searched for the paste. The glass vials would think and clank as he rummaged through them. A moment later he would reveal a glass jar full of blue paste.

“Here we are. Burning Bitterroot Balm. Hold tight, only stings a little.” If the boy presented his arm to Elliot, he would hold onto it gently and apply a dab of the paste to the wound, gently spreading it over the cut. He would then place the jar to the side and withdraw his wand. Taking aim at the wound, “Ferula!” Bandages would appear out of thin air, wrapping themselves firmly around the effected area. “There we are, keep those bandages on until you wake up tomorrow. Shouldn’t even leave a scar. Now, love potion antidote and some healing potions. Mad disco balls you say? Electrocution? My my.” Again the boy might note a grin on the older mans face. It did seem quite the party.

Elliot moved down to another shelf, again rummaging through vials, occasionally plucking one out of the bunch. He turned to face the boy. “Here you are lad. Love Potion Antidote and some Burn Healing Paste for your shocking friends.” Elliot handed the boy a vial of clear liquid and a jar of orange paste. “Now, take these straight to Professor Jensen. Do not administer these yourself, understood? You’re free to go, unless you would like me to accompany you back?”

Lamik took a sharp inhale of air between his teeth when the blueish paste was applied but didn't show much of a reaction to it other than that. As he felt the bandages tighten around his arm though, Lamik nodded and took the potions. Though it may have seemed ridiculous in hindsight because of the obvious differences between both substances, Lamik didn't want to risk forgetting which was what, so he took a few moments to study each one. "Thank you, Sir. I'll make sure to give it to her, I promise you I will. Thank you so, so much."

"You can come and join if you want, but if not I think I'll be able to manage." With that, Lamik sprinted towards the door and out of the room, potion and paste in hand. He hoped that the situation was even mildly handled by then and that not too many people had been hurt. He certainly hoped that Professor Jensen was uninjured, or else he would have had to go against what Price had said and attempted to administer the medicine himself. It didn't matter, though. At that moment, all the boy needed to do was to get back to the great hall.
