The greatest event of Summer Camp had arrived: Olphie's birthday. Technically, it was a bracelet-making event, but Olphie had taken it upon herself to make the event especially special by joining it with a celebration of her 27th year of life. The event was being held late, of course, as that was the fashionable way to go about things.
She had taken it upon herself to decorate, having woken up quite early the morning of the 26th to begin the process. Surprisingly, none of the other professors had offered to help her, and Olphie herself did not trust those house elves that the others seemed so reliant on. She had seen their work; they were unable to host a party to her high standards. Instead, she used magic to speed up the process when an extra set of hands could have been much more efficient. Olphie was willing to put in such hard work for the students' enjoyment. She was a giver.
To enter the bracelet-making and birthday party area, the students would need to walk through magically hovering photos of herself. If these moving pictures did not announce her true intentions with "bracelet-making," the following scene would make it clear. Centered was a long table, perched on a tarp, with pillows surrounding it. This area was designed as the eating area; the table with snacks would be nearby, gaudily decorated with flowers and treats in varying shades of pink.
The elaborate decorations would not end here, however, as Olphie had decided that one table of food was not enough: no, she needed a whole separate area for her own cake, topped with her favorite things and designs. It was a cake fit for a queen; Olphie would know. She had rejected quite a few subpar designs before agreeing to this one. In case the students' eyes would not immediately draw to the extravagant cake when they first entered, Olphie added a floating balloon arch to assist their eyes.
A birthday party would not be complete without activities, and though the main activity was the bracelet making, she was much more eager about her greatest idea yet: Pin the Wand on Barnaby Ryker. Having purchased a cardboard cutout of Ryker, Olphie was disappointed that the magic had worn off so he could not return her flirtations, but she assumed the students would enjoy trying to pin a wand in his right hand while blindfolded. She would have to hunt for a better cut out next time.
Finally, positioned in the left-hand side of the room was a tent. Though the tent would appear quite small from the outside, it was spacious inside and filled with tables and chairs for students to work in small groups. Donning the floor was an new product Olphie had discovered, "Cloud in a Can," which made one feel as though he or she was walking on air. The magical clouds would only last the duration of the party, though Olphie wished she could find a permanent type to replace the cold and ugly stone floor in her office.
The materials for the bracelets would be located on the table in the back of the tent, near the chair which Olphie planned to sit on as she watched the children work. There were a variety of strings and colors so that each student could embrace their own style to create a fashion statement. If they were lucky, Olphie would perhaps find their bracelets actually stylish! She certainly was feeling generous, what with it being her birthday month and all.
And of course, there was Olphie herself. The Flying Professor wore a simple pale pink dress, as she knew that this event was for the children. At the same time, though, Olphie seemed unable to listen to her own advice, as she wore an elaborate crown atop her head. She waited patiently for the students to assemble for the best day of their Summer Camp lives.

Bracelet Making
It was rude not to accept an invitation, this had been instilled into Angellica's head from a young age. Though she had lacked a lot growing up, like making bracelets and skipping rocks over a body of water, she was gaining a lot of this knowledge at the Hogwarts Summer Camp. So far things had been rather simple, even if the blonde wasn't particularly good at them, they were down to earth so to speak, but this, this was entirely different. When she walked into the tent, she wasn't prepared for the amount of pink that the room held. It was larger than it appeared, and much more elegant than she had imagined such an affair to have. Something her mother would have approved of certainly.
First to arrive, she carried a small kraft covered box with a pink bow and a small bouquet of deep pink peonies. When she'd heard word of Professor Bercegeay's Birthday, she had owled her mother for a little something to offer. Though she didn't know much about the professor, and she had made a point to explain the woman had been part of a quidditch team, she was certain her mother had ignored her wishes for something relevant. In fact, she wasn't sure what was in there, but it was better than being empty handed.
She was glad she'd donned the dress her mother had sent with it. There was nothing quite like being underdressed for such an event. Eying the table, she enjoyed the sights, a grin beaming over her features. There were macarons! Oh she could only hope some of her favoured flavours were around. Of course, this only furthered her opinion of Olphie. She was too good for them, it explained why she had trouble with names. Marching forward with the pride of a Rowley, she made her way to the professor in charge.
"Miss Bercegeay," she greeted with a smile. "I owled my mother when I heard it was your birthday," she extended the flowers and box. "You don't have to open it now, perhaps I should put it on the gift table?" she said looking around as she assumed she would find one not too far away.

Despite all of Quinn's recent...outbursts. He still had a decent week all things considered. He knew he would have a wonderful day after after hearing about the dear flying professors birthday. Upon walking onto the site he was immediately presented with a fantastical site. One that gave him much more then a chuckle. Looking around he observed carefully each picture of the professor and became that much more proud of what he had in his right arm. It was a large 24 x 36 canvas wrapped in cream colored wrapping paper with painted on white and pink color orchards that were admittedly crudely drawn. Followed by a large pink bow.
His attention was then brought to the snack tables they had nearly all of his favorite sweets. The half giants jaw dropped and he actually started to drool. But he had to focus, he had a mission after all. Right before entering the tent he fixed the bowtie on his outfit and the beanie he had on masking his curly locks. Feeling justly pretty up he walked in having to duck an ample amount. His eyes widened in childish glee at the scene and forgetting that there were indeed two people there. An inhumanly high pitched and girlish squeal escaped his lips. "This place is fantastic!"

The flight from home to Gatwick airport was less than subpar. For one, the in-flight food was delivered mushy, cold, and much too bland for Nadège's travelled palate. Second, the woman couldn't get her seat to recline when she was ready to sleep, and had to accept dozing off upright. But it wasn't as if she expected anything else. The professor was a woman who had a lot of love in her heart for many things, but flying had never been one of them - not by plane and certainly not by broom.
Perhaps her own acrophobia was the reason why Nadège had yet to formally try to know the Flying instructor. That, and, her impressive ability to get sidetracked with most important things unless it concerned her line of work. Thankfully, Nadège was safely back from the Caribbean after leaving in early July, returned to the hills of Scotland once more. The petite woman had set time aside to put up her belongings in her room before she even thought about joining the festivities. Although she had missed a few summer camp activities, she would remain at Hogwarts until the start of term. Now would be the optimal time to mingle with more students and professors before classes started up and her schedule was made busy yet again.
Nadège walked through the campgrounds, her colourful cape flowing behind her as she went. In her hand she held a small, wrapped box with a gift inside; a pair of dainty, coral earrings, in celebration of Ms. Bercegeay's birthday. She obviously didn't know Olphie's style too well, but hoped she would like them nonetheless. They were quite popular among tourists in her country. It was a good thing that she thought to get them from a shop before leaving.
Entering the party area, Nadège made her way through the pathway of floating pictures. She thought they were a nice touch, especially how they lead to the party area itself, which Nadège soon found herself in. Looking around, hat she noticed besides the boldness of the pink themed decor, was that the area wasn't very populated yet; only two other students and the party woman herself.
She walked towards the ladies to greet them, giving the tall boy a big smile as she did. "Isn't it?" she responded at his display of excitement. Standing in front of the pair, she clasped her hands behind her with the gift in-between. "Good afternoon. Feliz cumpleaños, to you Professor Bercegeay. Did you do all of this? It's nice. Positive energies all around. Hello there." she said to the blonde student, not wanting to leave her out of the conversation.

Victoria was honestly a little bit surprised as she received an owl with an invitation to a bracelet making party. After all, she had only been on the camp grounds a few days and had yet to really meet anyone. Looking over the note, she saw that it was both a bracelet making event for summer camp, as well as a birthday party for one of the Professors. How interesting, Victoria thought as she read. What a great idea to combine the two!
Not usually the type to go to a bracelet making party, Victoria thought it would be a great opportunity to meet one of the teachers. She didn’t know anything about Professor Bercegeay, aside from the small amount of information that was listed on the invitation, but perhaps she taught one of the classes that Victoria would be taking this year. Even if she wasn’t, maybe she could give her tips on what was to come.
Dressed in a pale pink summer dress and tan flats, Victoria made her way across the grounds to where the celebration was taking place. Arriving just a smidge past three pm, she hadn’t expected to see so many kids there already. Professor Bercegeay must be a very popular professor! She found an empty spot at the table and began to look at the assortment of materials spread before her.
Slowly beginning to piece together her bracelet, she wondered if she would make any friends while she were here.

Santario had heard about a bracelet making event and although that was not her thing, she did promise her mother she would take tons of photos to share with her. So why not start with an event and who knew maybe the Professor throwing the event would like some photos being taken too. She was wearing her normal clothes, not realizing that people were going to be fancy for this. She wore black jeans with some well-worn holes, a grey t-shirt with a camera on in stating weapon of choice, a black faux leather vest, her black converse, a white rose silver locket hung around her neck, her black canvas camera bag hung at her left hip, and for once her long raven hair cascaded freely down her back.Mentions @Victoria McGregor @Nadège Benoit @Olphie Bercegeay @Quinn Healy @Angellica Rowley
Her mother had bought her a camera specifically for Hogwarts knowing that the one she normally used at home just wouldn’t work here. She held the camera in her hand as she approached the magically hovering photos, she would stop short and put her camera up to her face and *click* she would snap a photo of it. Moving in further she would snap a photo of the decorations making sure to stay quiet and, on the sidelines, having noted other kids were already there.
*click* She snapped a photo of a boy in the throes of glee with his exclamation of this place being fantastic because you just couldn't fake that kind of joy. She watched another Professor, she assumed, enter with a stunning multicolored cloak. From a distance, *click*, she would snap a photo of a blonde girl with the hostess and the other Professor talking.
She noticed that another girl in a pink dress had made her way into the bracelet tent and with a soft *click* Santario would snap a photo of her contemplating materials for her bracelet. It was now Santario would realize that she stuck out like a sore thumb only instead of being bright in a darker place she was the only one wearing black among all of the pink. She would continue to stay on the sidelines and snap photos hopefully getting candid shots as those were her favorite.

Hjørdis had no idea why she was doing this but a part of her felt responsible - or perhaps it was a simple lack of trust on Bercegeay's capabilities. In either case, she made her way down to the grounds to see if the flying professor required any assistance in setting up the 'Bracelet Making' workshop that was being run today. It sounded like a very fun event, to be honest. The Head of Slytherin loved jewellery, which was evident by the fact she was always wearing plenty of it. Sadly, she could not say she was pleased with the company.
She stopped abruptly as her eyes fell onto the decorations from a distance. The event looked like anything but a bracelet making event. Slowly, and cautiously, she walked closer to see a huge photo wall had been put up. It was full of plenty of photos of Olphie Bercegeay. Hjørdis resisted the urge to massively facepalm at the sight. Her colleague had turned the event into... what appeared to be a party for herself. Did she really want to have a birthday party with students? If nothing else, Hjørdis could not help but wonder if the woman had any friends her own age that she would rather hang out with. But... she decided not to ask.
Instead, she just walked around the newly set up party and examined it. There was a table of very very pink food, that she spotted the minute she walked in even though it was on the other side of where she was standing. She was beside a tent, that appeared to led to a giant birthday cake. And... Her eyes widened a little. Was that a giant cardboard cut out of Ryker? Hjørdis had no idea how this woman's mind worked but a part of her was a little horrified. Did Ryker know of this strange obsession the woman seemed to have of him? If not, he probably would now.
The Slytherin just sighed softly as she moved to examine the Bracelet Making section, which was part of the original plan. Well, it was the main focus of the original plan that had been swallowed up in a whole lot of pink. She tried to not stand out, just opting to look around and then leave. But her very blue top clashed against the decor quite brightly. Sigh. She supposed to ought to have brought the woman a present but... well, she had no idea this was going to be turned into a birthday party. That was definitely not part of the plan. Then again, even if she knew, would she really have bothered to spend money on someone she did not like? Unlikely.
Looking over, she spotted Nadège being far more friendly and polite than she was. Hjørdis could not help but chuckle a little. They were very different. She made her way over, deciding that today of all days, she ought to give Bercegeay another chance, "Good afternoon," She greeted the two Professors and the girl that had approached her, "It's certainly rather... energetic." She added on the end of Benoit's words, unsure of how best to describe the event. It was very... pink. "Many happy returns of the day, I believe, Professor Bercegeay," She continued, wishing her a happy birthday in her own way.

Serena rubbed her eyes, stifling a yawn. The afternoon heat was making her tired. It was actually rather pleasant for once in Hogwarts but boy, oh boy, was she getting sleepy. However, today there was a task that sounded rather exciting. Making bracelets. Not that she had ever tried before but it just sounded rather fun. She did like getting crafty sometimes and this seemed like a good opportunity to get on board and perhaps learn a new skill. Maybe she could make herself something pretty to serve as a reminder of all of the things she wanted to achieve this year...
In any case, she made out of the boat and down to the campgrounds. Her eyes lit up, the smile falling on her face as she looked at the decor. There was so much going on, she had no idea where to even begin to look. Walking through a photo wall, Serena grinned as she saw moving pictures of the flying professor, who looked so happy.
Her eyes hit a table of delicious looking food, all a variety of pink. Whilst she was not normally a fan of pink, she could not resist food. Food was always nice. "Woahhh." She muttered under her breathe as she rushed to the food. A hufflepuff always liked food. This was evident by the fact that her fellow hufflepuff was standing by it too, "Quinn! Hey, how's it going? Tried anything?" She asked him as she approached the boy who was so much taller than her that she had to massively tilt her head to see his eyes. "Ooh I think I need some cake." She continued, talking more to herself as she eyed up the variety of cake that was being offered. The sight of food seemed to spark a bit of life into the otherwise sleepy badger.

Methodically picking out piece by piece, Victoria continued to design and string together her bracelet. She was amazed at how much fun she was having, as this wasn't something that she had originally thought she would enjoy. Hearing a sudden *click* of a camera, she turned around, startled.
There stood a girl dressed in mostly black, taking pictures of various things that were going on, including Victoria making a bracelet. Why is she taking pictures of me? Victoria wondered. She studied the girl a bit longer, realizing that she was dressed completely different than anyone else at the party. Perhaps she worked for the school paper and that was why she was taking pictures?
Setting the bracelet pieces back down on the table and smoothing her dress flat, she stood up and stuck her hand out to meet this girl that was new to her. "Hello, I'm Victoria," she pronounced. "And I must say that I love your outfit, quite a lot.” She thought for a moment, curious as to how she looked in the picture that had just been taken of her. “Could I see your pictures?” she asked the girl. “I’ve always been interested in photography, but sadly I’ve never really been any good at it.

Quinn bowed slightly in a respectful manner at Professor Benoit and Professor Jensen who he realized he was still quite a bit taller then. That fact was still new to him, he was half-giant afterall and starting to show those traits. In both his build and mindset. "It's a spectacle truthfully. Can't remember the last time ah went to a party like this. It's really fun to be honest, and gave me an excuse to dress up in my festive colors!" He excitedly commented before bowing again and walking over to his other friend away from the professors. Midway he changed directions walking towards the birthday professor in question.
He barely noticed the photo taken of him, but went with it letting her do as she pleased. He had more pressing things. He walked over to Professor Bercegeay, "It isn't much professor, but I hope you like it. Had to whip this up very quickly." He dropped the wrapped canvas off near the other gifts. He knew the professor absolutely loved flying so he did what he could with the few water colors he could scrounge up. He spent an entire day going all over hogwarts just to grab the materials he needed. With that he gave her an extremely dramatic and over-exaggerated bow fixing his red rimmed glasses in the process. He then walked back over to where Serena was.
"Serena my friend!" He squealed again but this one was a bit more mannish then the previous ones. He awkardly hugged her with one arm pulling her close. For a moment he forgot about the sheer size difference before he chuckled seconds later in realization letting go. "Aye cake sounds fantastic as well as the other sweets. I wonder what kind of sugar was used. Oooooh I wonder what kind of chocolate was used to." He quickly spat out rapid fire. It was mostly to himself but still. "Our flying professor sure knows how to throw a proper party." He commented speaking directly to Serena now. "she'd make mum quite proud. Though those two getting along honestly scares me straight." He laughed again rubbing the back of his neck, with his friend.
