Costume Party... In April?

Interacting with @Carson Miller and @Fumiko Tachibana, mentioning @Dale Kurt.
Open to interactions!✧Just as Charlotte finished her magical transformation, all eyes -including hers- were on someone else. This someone else happened to be her dear friend, Fumiko. Oh no, if only she had waited just a few more seconds for her transformati-
She smiled as she looked at the girl, but her sweet expression rapidly turned into confusion, biting her lip and frowning as her smile turned well... upside down. Fumiko had made quite the dramatic entrance, but not quite the one both the girls had decided on. See, although Fumiko was dressed as Gaston -which was perfectly fitting with her own costume- they had originally settled on a majestic gown just like her own, and lets say Charlotte wasn't very pleased.
Fumiko walked towards them, barely acknowledging the fact that she had taken the decision, on her own to completely change her costume. The worse part was that Charlotte would've whole-heartedly agreed to have her dressed as anything else, if she had only warned her.
You can't get mad, she plays the role perfectly. It compliments your outfit perfectly... Don't get mad...
She made a step towards Fumiko as she put a hand on her shoulder, whispering in her ear.
'Is this some kind of joke? You-You could've warned me!'
she whispered, perhaps a little loudly.
Taking a few steps back to face the girl, not even a shadow of a smile could be seen. Was she overreacting? Was she? She tried to stay as calm as possible, lets not ruin the moment, just play along with it.
'This is not okay.'
she said, whispering in the girls ear once more.
She then faced the group once more as a sweet smile spread across her face. After all, her costume was very good, and it seemed like Fumiko did put some effort into it, at least their costumes looked even more like they had planned it advance.
'So, what do you guys think our little team costume here?'
she said as she glanced around, wrapping an arm around Fumiko's shoulders.
Then suddenly a flash of red caught her attention, and probably everyone else's around her. She turned around only to see the boy dressed in some kind of intricate, rather awesome, doctor costume stomping on its lab coat, the small crimson flames slowly fading away.
'Are you okay?'
she said loud enough for the boy to hear, giving him a sweet and compassionate smile.
She bit her lip as she looked at him. The boy was already quite shy, and all this attention he was suddenly receiving was probably very pleasing, or at least she would've hated it. Think, get the attention on someone else, or me? She looked around her and blushed when she met Carson's eyes. Walking towards him, her golden gown billowing behind her, she gulped before asking him.
'Um... I was thinking that it-it would be fitting for you know... Belle to dance. Um, would you-would you like to dance a bit with me?'
she said with a shy look on her face.
'Never mind... Its- Its silly...'
and she looked down as she nodded before walking back towards Fumiko.

As Lallie asked who Millie thought was the best costume, she looked around curiously. Her purple eyes scanning the multitude of people, and she finally decided who she liked the best.
The two Hufflepuff girls she saw first, dressed as Belle and Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, which she thought was really fucking cool. She didn't even like the Disney film, and she thought the couple was really cool. Second, she liked Koko's costume as a cat, and she liked the tourist idea, too.
"I dunno, that's really hard. I like the Belle and Gaston, the idea is so creative," She shrugged. "But I also like Koko's costume, and Maggie, Carson, Tatiana, and Sylvie's tourist idea." She gave a soft giggle.
Running a hand through her hair, she shot a glance over to Lallie. "I bet Maggie is going to make this hella interesting, I know her too well," She smiled faintly. "If you want, though, we could bail. I find these parties sound fun, but get boring."
The flower crown adorned her head, seemed to glitter in the light. To Millie, though, she didn't really notice. Her mother had completely enchanted the flower crown to always seem fresh and nice, but, in the right light, would shine and shimmer with glitter.
Totally something her mother would do.

Min-seo saw Maggie running towards her. "Hi Maggie, I- oof!" she said with a small laugh as Maggie hugged her. She hugged her back with a smile. "Thank you!" she said with a smile at the compliment on her costume. She saw Maggie run to Oliver and she smirked a bit. She knew that the girl had a big fat crush on him and wouldn't stop blushing or complimenting him. She noticed all of these lovely costumes, someone had an enchanted dress that they transfigured for Belle, a Marty McFly (she loved Back to the Future,) and two people came as Batman and Robin in horrible onesies, but it was great. Another person came as Joker, so it was perfect for the trio. She jumped a bit as the door slammed open. There stood Fumiko, or should she say Gaston, in all his glory. She laughed. She loved Fumiko. She was so kind, and they had exchanged letters unknowingly. Just the best friend that Min could ever have. She walked over to her with a bright smile. "I love the costume!" she said with a big smile. Fumiko was so funny, and she was surprised that the girl even came as Gaston.Interacting with: @Maggie Parker (kind of) and @Fumiko Tachibana

Costume Party... In April?
@Dan Palmer @Dennis Harris
Mac's pale blue eyes lit up with excitement at Dan's suggestion. A war waged on inside his mind between the potential soul-crushing embarrassment of showing off his mediocre acting skills at a social event, and the genuine dork inside him that insisted it would be fun.
In the end, the latter won out by a landslide.
"Batman!" 'Robin' gasped as he reached over to tug on the hem of Dennis' cape. His voice was booming, theatrical, and ridiculously overacted. To top it all off, it was in an atrocious American accent that was far too nasally. "It's Joker! The infamous Phantom Thief of Hearts!" He broke character for a moment to laugh, a ridiculously dorky affair that ended with a sharp snort. "But what is he doing here in Gotham?! So mysterious and brooding— we'd better stop him quick before he steals our hearts!"
Of course, Joker only stole the hearts of the corrupt, but for the sake of their little game, Robin didn't have to know that. Besides, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to think that Bruce Wayne has a palace; the guy has some serious issues.
"Joker!" Mac yelled as he pointed a finger at Dan, completely unable to hide the grin on his face. "Surrender now, and me and Batman will go easy on you! There's plenty of free beds for you and your fellow Phantom Thieves in Arkham Asylum!"

Dennis hadn't quite been paying attention, pouring himself a cup of punch and surveying the snacks, then the crowd, and then the snacks again, until the sharp tug of the Halloween cape velcroed to his shoulders called him back to reality.
The Joker?
His face twisted into a serious scowl and he set his cup back on the table before jumping into the air, spinning around to face Mac's friend. Landing hard on his feet, he immediately took on his costumes identity. A serious look on his face, hands splayed out at his sides as if alert and surveying the scene, he let out a deep and raspy "Hate to sound a sour note, Joker, but we would never hire such a poor comedian for this party." He tried his best to mimic the Batman of his childhood, his obvious failure not bothering him a bit as he truly only sounded like a twelve year old mocking a grown man.
"Oh, holy cow, you're the Joker from Persona 5!" Dennis straightened where he stood, dropping character momentarily and raising a hand to point at Mac's friend. "I'm Dennis! Your costumes so cool!" His jaw hung open a moment as he looked the other over, a wide smile forming on his face as he looked to Mac at his side. Suddenly, realization of the situation hit him again and, sounding a small "oh!" in remembrance, he got back into position.
"We'll get you this time, Joker! The boys at Arkham have been waiting for you!" He took on the horrible Batman impersonation again, fists raising in front of him as if ready to fight, still clad in black rubber gloves.
"I guess you haven't heard- I'm the sheriff around these parts!"

Dan's grin widened. They were actually into this. It was perfect. Time for a show.
Both Batman and Robin mentioned Arkham. Eh. An Asylum sounded better than Blackgate Prison. Not that he'd be going to either one, of course.
Dan adopted a cocky smirk, and tried as hard as he could to talk like an American, and succeeded pretty well, though there was still very clearly Irish tones in his voice. He also deepened his voice to sound like a teenager; he was pretty sure Joker was 15. It wasn't hard for Dan to match his voice, and he sounded pretty convincing. Well, if Joker was an Irish boy trying to sound American and maybe succeeding 60%.
"Oh really? You two have failed three times now, how will this be different?"
Joker wasn't much a talker in the game, so Dan was talking like how he thought he would.
Dan whipped his wand out did a quick motion and pointed downward, quickly whispering "Flipendo" before jumping into the air. The spell came out, though as such close range, shot Dan into the air, where he turned his body once and landed in a thief's crouch before getting up.
He really hoped no one saw how much he was shaking. He did not expect that to work, and he got more air than he thought he would. Still, it went off fine.
He pointed his red-gloved finger at Batman. "Bruce Wayne. Author of lies, Spreader of Fear, Inciter of Violence, and Source of Madness in Gotham, you prowl at night, using terror and over-the-top violence to force your justice on those weaker than you. Whether it is a grand murderous scheme, or a simple petty theft of someone just trying to survive, you break everyone like they were cheap toys, and send them to an asylum or prison, where they will just break out and do it again. Under the guise of a hero fighting for peace, you simply use the many villains in Gotham to try to make up for doing nothing as your parents died. You even go so far as to bring children and teenagers into your exercise in futility, endangering them while perpetuating the cycle of death and capture in Gotham. The Phantom Thieves will show you how to deal with criminals properly, starting with the one who is the most far gone.
Batman. Bruce Wayne. I have come to steal your heart."
Dan was amazed at how well that turned out. Every bit of that was off the top of his head. Now for the icing on the cake.
Dan put his wand behind his back, and waved it. He whispered an incantation, and conjured an illusory form behind him, easily taller than him.
I couldn't decide which was cooler.
"Arsene!"
Dan stole a quick look behind him to see if it worked, and was delighted when Arsene floated there in all his awesome glory. True, as a second year, Dan was not nearly good enough at Conjuration for Arsene to really do anything, just stand there, MAYBE move an arm. Which, to be fair, was all Dan needed him to do.
Dan reached up and took the mask, before pulling it off as they did when they used their Persona's magic.
Ravage them!"
Dan moved his arm at them, and Arsene opened his hand at Batman and Robin. Then he vanished, as Dan needed to do something else.
He flicked his wand motions again and aimed at Mac, whispering "Rictusempra."
The tickling charm was harmless, and he would dispel it after maybe two minutes. Or, more likely, after Batman made a move. Dan wasn't allowed to make more than one move during a fight, Persona 5 was a turn-based rpg after all.
Wait, comedian? Oh no, he thought Dan was THE Joker. Dan's ADHD kicked in for a moment, and his mind went off on a tangent trying to decide which costume would have been harder to put together. He decided that they would both have been equally simple, but the impressions are where he would judge them. And The Joker would have been MUCH harder than Joker. A cackling lunatic or a cool headed teenage thief boy, one was clearly easier than the other."Hate to sound a sour note, Joker, but we would never hire such a poor comedian for this party."
Nice to meet you, I'm Dan. Thanks a lot." Dan smiled in a friendly manner, before Dennis got back in character, as did he.Oh, holy cow, you're the Joker from Persona 5! I'm Dennis! Your costumes so cool!"

" This is not okay "Charlotte said into the girl's ear once more.
Fumiko opened her mouth to explain the ink accident but was cut off by Charlotte wrapping her arm around Fumiko, a sweet but slightly visible tight smile on her pretty face made Fumiko felt like her heart had been stabbed.
To say she felt guilty was an understatement. Fumiko was one to have her heart similar to a rock when it came to other people's opinions, but when it came to her friends, it was just a soft and easily crushed like freshly baked pudding.
She hid her urge to nervously pick on her fingers with a charming obnoxious Gaston grin.
" I mean..we do make a lovely couple, don't we Belle ~ " she mused, in a ' trying too hard ' gruff snobbish tone that might've made anyone laughed.Ability Used : C H A R M E R
Before anyone could comment on them, a sudden bright red light quickly made Fumiko turn her head towards the source.
There was a boy in a rather simple but slightly burned scientist/doctor costume. As expected, Charlotte was the first to come and help the boy and Fumiko had no time to join in before Charlotte suddenly finding interest in asking...Carson to a dance?!
Carson?
CARSON MILLER?!?
Fumiko's sudden overprotectiveness side shot up like fireworks when she saw how shy and awkward and a blushing mess her friend was in front of Carson. Why is she asking someone, and out of everyone it had to be Miller to dance right after someone's precious lab coat just got burned?!
Fumiko had no ill feelings towards the boy until now. He was bright and bubbly, entertaining to see him be himself but if he ever shows slight interest in her dear friend, well, he better run. And fast, because Fumiko is someone who could definitely catch up when it came to running .
( Actually no, her stamina is down the drain )
It's stupid. Was her friend really having the hots for Miller ? She couldn't help but scowl for a second at the ' cute ' scene everyone was currently paying attention too. And a scowl on Fumiko's Tachibana's does not look pretty. This girl could smirk, narrow her eyes or even frown and her baby like face would ruin it all.
But scowling..hmm..let's just say she could win a ' Best Scary Face ' award.
Though all she wanted to do was pull back Charlotte and get Miller the hell away from her, the guilt from ruining her dress last minute made her back off. So she just stared blandly at her scene, her heart heavy.
She wasn't going to lie about her relief when Charlotte took back her offer to dance but before she could celebrate, she was blinded by a familiar big smile of her dear friend, Min-Seo.
As Min-seo complimented her, her innocently narcism side took over and gave Min-seo an oddly smug grin as she pushed back some non-existant extra strand of hair on the overly gelled hair. " Heh, tell me something I don't know, pretty lady~ ".
For some reason, she decided she wasn't cringy enough so she tried to sent a wink at the end. ( psss! She failed )
God how she loved how she could use her costume as an excuse for her behaviour. Though, she hasn't talked to Min-seo about how she still wishes to act like her goody two shoes self when they're around other people.
To be honest, she was dreading that conversation.
Being stupidly goofy around Min-seo were potential highlights of her day, plus she was scared to hurt the girl's feelings. She couldn't help it, she just....she wasn't ready to show everyone her true colours yet.
" Okay okay, Fumiko self : on . Goddarn how in heavens did you find a costume like this? " she circled around Min-seo, clearly impressed with the intricate details of her dress. " Well...I know who's gonna win ' Most Extra Costume ' in this party ~ " she teased the girl, slightly tapping the tips of her lace umbrella " Careful not to poke someone with this~ " she lightly chuckled.
Min-seo's dress was definitely something. If she was reincarnated into a doll, everyone would be fighting for her.
She glanced to check on the boy with the burnt lab coat and he was....doing better...she supposed. Later, she saw a girl she had never seen before. A girl in some sort of cat costume that Fumiko recalled she admired when she entered the party.
The look of panic on her face and her wand out explained some questions Fumiko had before.
" A-ah sorry Min-seo, I need to go cheek up on something But like , still loving the costume boo~ glad I could see you here ~ " she pointed playful finger guns at the girl and quickly flicked her forehead before she speed walked towards the girl, praying Min-seo wasn't going to pounce at her for the sudden attack.
" Ah, hello~ " she smiled sweetly at the cat girl, trying not to eye her wand. Feeling assured everyone was too focused on Dan's, Dennis's and Mac's little show, she spoke " I know stories of the Blossom Ball spooked you, but trust me this Maggie's parties are far from dangerous and she would never invite anyone who would hurt her guest "
The girl didn't look like a bad person. Fumiko usually didn't trust her gut when it came to people but she did trust the fact that the infamous story of the Blossom Ball set itself as an unforgettable memory both students who were there and weren't wanted to forget.
Her point was, she felt no hate towards the girl at what she did. She just believed the girl should be assured nothing like the blossom ball is going to happen here.
" So ~ " she placed her hands behind her back " You can either come and tell me which costume you think will win and why, or go apologise to the poor boy who's lab coat you almost burned " the rather chillingly blunt words she spoke contradicted with the warm smile and sweet tone she used.
Though she'd love a chance to express her own opinions, it was obvious she wanted the cat girl to go with the second opinion.Ability Used : C H A R M E R( not sure if I could use it the 2nd time . This was just to show that she surprisingly isn't menacing or smth to Koko.

Also Koko! You can choose either! :> Fumiko will be coool if you decide to apologise to Dan. Or like, don't do both and argue with Fumiko pshhh all its goood and interestinng uwu

Costume Party... In April?
@Charlotte Cadunt and mentions @Koko Riddle @Dale Kurt @Fumiko Tachibana
Carson’s eyes widened as a bright burst of reddish flame erupted from over by the drinks. A girl in a cat costume seemed to be setting fire to Dale... which, obviously, mad Carson kind of confused and kind of angry. Dale? Really? Dale wouldn’t hurt a fly, so why was this girl sweating his lab coat on fire?
From what Carson knew of Dale, he was a bit, well, shy, and all the attention being focused on him wasn’t really his dream scenario. Charlotte, who had transformed her dress into a very pretty ball gown, seemed to notice the same thing, and she walked a few strides over towards him, her golden yellow gown flowing out on the floor behind her. A blush was apparent on her face, and Carson was sure his face mirrored hers in that aspect.
“Um... I was thinking that it-it would be fitting for you know... Belle to dance. Um, would you-would you like to dance a bit with me?” she asked, nervously twiddling her fingers and blushing like a madman. A goofy grin grew on Carson’s face, and he was only slightly at a loss for words at his luck. Charlotte Cadunt was asking him to dance. Before he could sputter out a reply, she turned on her heel, muttering, “Never mind... Its- Its silly...” under her breath, walking back towards her friend, who was sending him a very hostile glare.
Without thinking, Carson reached out, grabbing Charlotte’s forearm before she could walk away. She turned, and he quickly dropped his hand, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.
“I— I, uh, I don’t think it’s silly.” he explained, looking towards the pretty Hufflepuff girl hopefully. He pulled her away from her angry friend, Gaston, a cheesy smile on his face. They began to dance, a completely awkward ballroom dance that didn’t go with the music playing at all, and the fact that she was dressed as a glimmery princess and he was dressed as a dorky tourist didn’t really help either.
“Wait a minute,” Carson spoke, as they twirled around the ballroom, “If you’re the beauty, that makes me the beast... are you trying to tell me something, Charlotte?” he joked, laughing as his tone turned accusatory. “I mean, I’m not a model or anything, but I’m not that ugly.”

Well, that went well. No one really had acknowledged Sylvie's existence, which was probably because of the boy that had almost been a human bonfire. "Oh well, I should just get something to drink and wait for this to end I guess..." Sylvie sighed. She wanted to socilize, she loved talking to ther people but everyone looked like they were doing their own thing, and she didn't want to interrupt them and be a nusence. "Stupid STUPID! This is why you don't like parties remember. This happens every time. Why can't you get it through your skull that you just shouldn't come to these." It's kinda funny, as a child Sylvie actually liked parties when her parents brought her along. She was very extroverted and did well in those situation, but it looked like things had changed.
Sylvie looked to the ground as she made her way to get a drink. She got something and took a sip. It wasn't anything special in the cup, it was just some punch, but doing something as little as drinking made her feel better. It was better then sitting in the corner doing nothing. "I guess I dont look awkward now. I just look thristy." She took another sip, ignoring the commotion that was happening with Koko and the boy near the table. "I'll just stay until the costume contest is over, then I'l get out of here..."

Open to interactions! As she walked back to her friend, feeling a little embarrassed that she had just asked Carson to dance with her, she felt a hand grab her. Immediately, she turned only to find Carson, as a shy smile spread across her face and her cheeks turned a bright shade of crimson.
“I— I, uh, I don’t think it’s silly.”
She didn't think the boy would care, even more so to actually agree.
She glanced at her friend Fumiko one last time who seemed to give Carson quite a spiteful look. Confused, she mouthed the word 'What?' before turning back to the boy. They started to dance around, the music being very, very inadequate for this but Charlotte had fun. She started laughing as they danced around, in rythme with this modern music, before Carson looked at her and said.
“If you’re the beauty, that makes me the beast... are you trying to tell me something, Charlotte?”
he said jokingly before adding.
“I mean, I’m not a model or anything, but I’m not that ugly.”
She looked at him and chuckled, realising she hadn't thought of that. Of course not, he wasn't ugly, quite the opposite. She didn't know what to say that wouldn't sound like she had a crush on the boy, but she couldn't just stay there and stare at him as silence would settle between the two.
'Of course not- You're really handso- Um, you're not ugly at all, really. That's not what I meant, I- Ugh, sorry I'm a little awkward sometimes...'
she stuttered.
Great... Maybe it would've been better if she hadn't talked after all, but she had just told him that. She felt a little embarrassed, the temperature in her cheeks rising as they more then likely turned into a bright shade of hot pink. After the dance, Charlotte smiled at Carson before saying sweetly.
'I'll be back, I just want to check on someone. Do you want to come?'
She turned her back to him as she bit her lip, ecstatic that she had talked to him, let alone danced with him. Fumiko was away talked to the girl that had just shot a flame-conjuring spell and another they had met at the lake party, and Charlotte had spotted someone that seemed in need of a friend. Unsure if she knew the person, she gulped than cleared her throat before talking to her, but just as she was about to, she caught a glimpse of her face.
'Sylvie! Hi, I'm sorry I wanted to come talk but a lot happened back there! So, how are you?'
she said as she tucked her hair behind her ear as she chuckled.
'I'm definitely liking the group costume you guys put together, each representing its own house!'
she looked down at her gown.
'I guess I'm in my house colours too... Great party you guys put together, really!'
she laughed.
