im going to explain to you guys in heavy detail what happened to me within the past 7 hours:
at 12am i started studying for my biology final, and at around 2 i wasn't exactly tired but i was like "well my finals at 8 so i need to sleep now so im not miserable when the final comes around- plus i want to wake up early so i can study before it too and retain some more information!" and then i laid down for TWO HOURS in the pitch black of my room completely unable to sleep. and i was like 'this sucks!' so i got up and played on my phone until about 530-6.
then i got really tired and was like "ok, ill nap now and then get up at 7, study for 30min and then go take my final and do good!!!" and then i fell asleep and all was well.
i had a really weird dream and at the end of it, i literally heard my own voice say "YOU NEED TO WAKE UP RIGHT NOW YOU'RE GOING TO MISS YOUR EXAM!" and i panicked and woke up immediately, so i checked my phone cause i was like 'my alarm wouldve gone off-' I SOMEHOW SNOOZED IT IN MY SLEEP.
the time was 7:50am. my exam is at 8. i literally put on clothes over my pajamas and sprinted out of the dorms and made it to the building with five minutes to spare. i took my exam, realized I probably should've studied instead of sleeping.
