Emotional Encounters

September 27th.

Keith had sat in bed long enough, he knew that. Lately it's the only place he'd been besides classes and meals. He barely said a word to his friends, barely a whisper to his dormmates. Finally he decided on what had been eating him inside. He was going to owl his parents.

Sitting down at the desk Keith sighed, picking up the quill, hid hand shaking as he wrote.

Dear Mom and Dad,

He started, his hand was shaking even as he wrote.

It's your son. I know you told me not to contact either of you, but i figured you'd both want to know I was still alive and doing well in school. I've made friends with with all types of people and have met a few kids who used to attend our balls at the manor. I guess it's time I actually say why I wanted to reach out. Basically, I just wanted to check up on both of you, Your son, Keith.

P.S. I'm a werewolf now and I'm cooler than either of you could ever be.

And with that Keith folded the letter and sent it off with an owl, flipping off the letter as the owl carried it away. His parents would be delighted to receive such a letter from their once quiet and behaved son.
