Biography
Eleanor is a quiet, thoughtful girl with a natural curiosity and an ability to observe things that others might overlook. She possesses a strong moral compass and a loyalty to those she cares about. However, she is quite shy around strangers, which can make her appear reserved, but she is incredibly warm and friendly to those who take the time to get to know her.
She prefers the tranquillity of solitude and happily spends hours reading, writing in her notebook, or exploring the woods surrounding her family's home. Eleanor has a romantic soul and often dreams of magical adventures like those she reads about in her books.
When Eleanor was accepted into Hogwarts and sorted into Hufflepuff, she felt both proud and relieved. The house's focus on loyalty and hard work perfectly suits her personality. Although she is still adjusting to life at school, she enjoys the new experiences and hopes to find friends who appreciate her quiet strength.

The Sorting Ceremony
As Eleanor entered the Great Hall for the first time, she felt an overwhelming sense of awe. The ceiling, mirroring the night sky, the floating candles, and the lively buzz of the older students at their house tables took her breath away. She nervously clutched her trusty little notebook, hidden in the pocket of her robe, as she followed the other first-years towards the stool with the Sorting Hat.
When her name was called, she felt the sweat on her palms as she carefully walked up to the stool. She sat on the worn wooden chair, and a professor gently placed the Sorting Hat on her head.
The Hat immediately began speaking to her. "Ah, a Rowan... Fascinating. Intelligent, with an insatiable curiosity. A strong sense of justice and a loyalty that shines brightly. But where shall we place you?"
Eleanor felt her heart pounding as the Hat pondered. It mentioned Ravenclaw's wit and Slytherin's ambition, but finally, it grumbled with a tone that sounded satisfied, "Hufflepuff!"
Applause erupted from the Hufflepuff table, and Eleanor walked with flushed cheeks to her new house, where she was warmly welcomed by the others. Although she still felt a bit overwhelmed, a sense of belonging began to spread within her.

Background
Eleanor Josephine Rowan was born on 23rd June 2013 into an old wizarding lineage, known for their strong morals and loyalty. Her family has lived in the same rural manor house in Cornwall for generations, surrounded by wild meadows and near dense woodland. She grew up in magical surroundings, but in a homely and down-to-earth atmosphere, where her parents, Cassius and Theodora Rowan, valued both tradition and openness to new ideas.
As a pureblood witch, Eleanor was raised with a fundamental understanding of magic, but her parents emphasised that she should develop her own interests and values rather than feeling bound by the expectations of her heritage. This gave her the freedom to immerse herself in books and her own imagination. She early on found joy in reading both magical and non-magical stories and discovered that she loved disappearing into other worlds.
Although she has a loving relationship with her parents, Eleanor has always been a thoughtful and somewhat reserved girl, often preferring to take walks alone in the forest or disappear into the family's extensive library. She is curious and observant, with an ability to find beauty in the small things others might overlook.
At Hogwarts, she feels comfortable in Hufflepuff, where her loyalty and kindness have already won her friends, though she still values her alone time. Eleanor hopes to find her own path and perhaps even write her own stories one day.

A girl is born | The year Eleanor felt magic.Eleanor was born on June 23, 2013, at the Rowan estate, a serene summer evening filled with joy. A calm yet curious baby, she adored watching enchanted candles flicker and listening to her mother’s lullabies. Her father read her magical tales, and visitors were enchanted by her bright eyes. By her first birthday, Eleanor had grown into a happy child, fascinated by colorful picture books and the warm magic surrounding her home.
The first year alive | The year Eleanor discovered magic.From her first birthday, Eleanor’s adventurous spirit began to emerge. She loved toddling after her parents, giggling at fluttering enchanted paper birds. Her mother introduced her to the greenhouse, where Eleanor touched magical plants with wide-eyed wonder. Words like “Mama” and “Dada” became part of her vocabulary, and she began mimicking spells her father practiced, delighting her family with her growing personality.
The imaginative twos | The year Eleanor listened to magic.After turning 2, Eleanor’s imagination blossomed. She enjoyed playing with enchanted toys, often creating her own little magical worlds. She became fascinated by stories of magical creatures, especially dragons, and demanded her parents retell them nightly. Exploring the family library became a favorite activity, where she flipped through illustrated books and made her first attempts at scribbling “letters,” charming everyone with her curiosity.

Four of hearts | The year Eleanor taught her stuffed animals magic.At 4, Eleanor’s independence shone as she explored the estate with Pip. Her fascination with Muggles began when her grandfather Percival told her tales of their inventions. She learned to write her name and enjoyed “teaching” her stuffed animals spells. Her clever questions and adventurous nature continued to make her the light of her family’s life.
Five books a week | The year Eleanor read about magic.Turning 5, Eleanor’s love for books flourished. She eagerly learned to read with her mother’s guidance, devouring magical creature stories. She spent hours in the garden, searching for the Nifflers she imagined were hiding there. A Muggle coloring book gifted by her grandmother sparked her curiosity about their world. Her boundless imagination brought joy to everyone around her.
