Violin Practise
It was a cool afternoon, one of the only times Severus bothered to go outside during the summer. He didn't like the heat of the summer most of the time. It was just too hot for him to enjoy it. He had gone outside to finally get some practise on the violin. He had been at Hogwarts for quite a while now but he had barely practised in this time. He decided to practise outside by the lake mainly because it seemed to be the place with the least amount of people. The lake was quite pretty. He hadn't been out by the lake much during his time at Hogwarts.
He began practising. Starting out with scales, arpeggios, exercises, generally just warming up. He didn't really feel like practising much today but it was nice to finally get some practise in. As he continued playing through his pieces he observed the Great Lake. It was quite a pretty area, with all the trees and such around it. It was also quite quiet, which Severus liked.
After some time he finished up his practice. He was getting a bit cold from the mild breeze and it was also getting closer to the curfew. He quickly packed up his violin and sheet music and headed back inside Hogwarts.
