Pet To Dream, To Come Real, To Have

Time: 3rd of August


Karina's heart ran with excitement as they passed through the magical streets. she still couldn't believe that soon there would be a little fluffy creature by her side, other than her cat. The moment they reached the store, Karina was fascinated to see all sorts bunnies, snakes, owls, spiders, and ferrets. The options that lay before her all seemed to make her feel equally disgusted, knowing only one could be picked. She came upon a small black and white rabbit with white on his nose, to which she was instantly attracted.
Karina reached into her pocket, and she barely had enough money. She reached in and pulled out 9 galleons, 10 sickles, and 5 knucks. Karina couldn't wait to bring her bunny with her to Hogwarts. Leaving the shop, her new bunny was asleep in his cage. She hadn't been thinking on what to name him, but she couldn't wait to get started! Karina got home and set up a little corner for the fella. Then, she sat down in her bedroom with a pen in one hand, and a notebook on her lap.
"Mr. Carrots is a way to common of a name. Minks, is a cute name but doesn't match his personality. I want it to be a famous name, but not too famous. Maybe like an old president or mayor's name. Hmmm.... If it were a girl then it would be way easier."
She thought for a minute
"Actually, all names are hard. I mean if it were a girl I'd have to figure out her personality, and then..."
A loud crash came from the kitchen. Karina ran downstairs, two steps at a time, nearly tripping. She grabbed her dad's baseball bat, ready to attack the burglar. Suddenly, she began to giggle as she went into her kitchen, seeing her bunny eating some cabbage that he found.
"Haha! I forgot about you! You little clumsy one! Hey, that's mom's, she was going to make salad out of it."
She grabbed the bunny and put him back into his cage, Karina must have forgotten to close it all the way.
Just then, Karina's Dad ran into the room.
"Hunny, what's going on? I heard something."
He said.
"Oh, it was only my bunny!"
Karina replied.
"Oh, well you have to keep an eye on this little sneaky one, then."
He hugged Karina, his hands smelling like grass,
"Dad! You need a shower!!"
She giggled.
"Well I'm gonna shower after I finish cutting the grass, haha".
That night, she found a perfect name, Bofi. "Bofi is an Old Swedish name meaning knave or rogue." Karina read off of her computer, she knew that she was going to have fun with Bofi, even with his mischievous personality!
