Let me start off by saying: Hi! My name's Sage, second year Hufflepuff! I'm also one of the new Hufflepuff prefects. We've never really spoken to each other, but I've heard your name mentioned around some people in my year, so I figured I'd find out who this mysterious Evelynn Decipio is and why her name is brought up so often.
I've also heard that you used to be a prefect. Maybe you have some fun tips for those just joining the ranks? I'm still figuring it out. And you're on the Headliner! I'm one of the editors.
Please don't feel pressured to reply to this. But you can if you want to. Maybe we could plan somewhere to meet to talk, that is, if you want to. I'll end this here, mostly because we don't really know each other, and it feels awkward to keep rambling.

Reducio Good afternoon Miss Willows, I suppose congratulations are in order for your recent promotion to prefect. Your source--whoever they may be--would be correct. There was a time when I wore a prefect badge. I am not certain whether there is any specific advice I might be able to offer you, nor explanation as to why my name is apparently passing so frequently amidst your peers, but if you have questions or concerns, I would be wiling to make myself available to answer what I can. And yes, I am one of the designers that puts the journalistic word to print. There, too, I have experience both as writer and editor, but have found I enjoy reading and arranging the works of others. That all aside, your letter was not unwelcomed. Please do not feel anxious for having reached out. As it seems you would like to speak at greater length, perhaps we can arrange to do so this weekend when your duty to patrol is more flexible. You could join me for lunch at the Gryffindor table on Saturday, if it please you. Or, if you would like to be more discreet, perhaps a late morning picnic on the grounds might be more to your preference. ooc notes-This weekend could do nicely! I'll do my best to ensure my schedule is free so we can meet up. For me, a Saturday brunch in the grounds would work best for my timeline, if it fits for you as well.
As you seem to be wondering how your name came to be brought up, I'm sure you know how fast gossip and rumors spread around the castle, even if this was so rumor. Younger years such as myself seem to chatter more about older years more often.
And thank you for the congratulations! I am very excited to see how this role comes to fit me as it's fit those before me. Perhaps during our meeting you could tell me of some things you came across as a prefect, if you so wish?
