❝Through the bustling crowd of King's Cross Station, the loud noise of travelers, the hiss of steam engines, and the echoes of announcements were heard throughout the station. Erendriel walked between her parents, her hands clutching the edges of her cloak tightly, and the other was clutched by her mother's hand as they approached the barrier between Platforms Nine and Ten. Her father, Rhothomir, pushed the trolley, carrying her meticulously packed trunk filled with the things she needed for the school year.

The sight of so many people coming and going to the station makes Erendriel feel even more uneasy and nervous. This was her first time in such a crowded and noisy place. The thought of leaving the serene comfort of Ivorymyst Manor to live among complete strangers, oh well, soon-to-be schoolmates, twisted her stomach into knots. She glanced up at her mother, whose pale face betrayed a mixture of joy and worry. Despite seeming sick and fragile, her mother continued to attend her daughter's Hogwarts graduation.

"You'll be fine, my love" Haciathra said softly, sensing her daughter's uneasiness. Eren hesitated, her silvery hair falling forward as she looked down at her shoes. "I don't know if I'm ready to go, Mom. What if I don't belong there? What if I'm disliked by the other students? What if I failed?" she admitted with her voice small. "

Rhothomir's deep voice interrupted firm but kind. "Nonsense, Eren. You are a Ravaxidor and you can belong anywhere your feet choose to go through, wherever it is." He paused and looked at her with a comforting smile and adding, "Besides it is totally normal for first year students to feel anxious on their first day of school."

"But it's more than that, Father." Erendriel replied, her voice trembling slightly and her lips wobble. "I've never been away from you both before. What if I get homesick? What if I can't keep up with my studies? What if I don't know a particular thing and they think that... That I'm... What if I mess everything up?" She trailed off, her chest tightening as the whirlwind of worries threatened to overwhelm her.

Haciathra crouched to her daughter's height, her pale hand reaching out to hold Erendriel's cheeks. "Sweetheart, you are far stronger than you think. You've faced challenges before, and you've always risen to them. Hogwarts will be no different."

Rhothomir chuckled, a low, warm sound that lightened the air. "Let them think what they will. Hogwarts is a place where you'll learn and grow in ways you cannot imagine." he brushed a stray lock of Erendriel's silvery hair and patted her head.

"Just walk straight at the wall and trust in your magic and it will guide you through" his deep voice says, soothingly and confidently.

Erendriel nodded but felt no less nervous. She took a deep breath and stepped closer while glancing back at her parents. They smiled reassuringly, though she could see the unspoken sadness in their eyes.

Erendriel pushed her trolley forward and walking briskly toward the solid brick wall as the barrier melted away, revealing a bustling platform filled with students, families, and the Hogwarts Express.

She stepped onto Platform Nine and Three Quarters, her heart pounding. The magical world felt alive here in a way she had never experienced before, but a pang of homesickness already crept in. Would she truly belong here, among these children laughing and chatting like old friends?

Her parents soon joined her, stepping through the barrier. Haciathra warmly hugged her daughter, whispering "You'll make friends in time, Erendriel. Be patient and open-hearted."

Tears pricked at Erendriel's eyes, but she wiped them away quickly and hugged her mother back. "I'll miss you both."

Rhothomir helped load her trunk onto the train before embracing her. "Write to us often and remember who you are."

Erendriel glanced at her parents, and as she look she saw their unwavering expressions, she gain confidence and said "I'll do my very best. I promise."

"We know you will, my love." Haciathra said, standing, gently kissing her daughter's forehead and hold his husband's hand.

The whistle blew signaling the train’s departure, Erendriel reached the train and easily found an empty compartment. Pressing her face to the window to wave at her parents while try to make them stay at her sight. Her mother raised a hand in a farewell, while her father stood tall, his expression unreadable but his sadness is evident for those who knew him well.

Erendriel flopped back in her seat and the train began moving away. Fear of the uncertainty loomed over her, and yet underneath it all, a spark of interest flickered. These marks her beginnings of a path that would transform her life forever.❞
