Quidditch Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff - Fall 2024

In the chaos of the early game, Atlas hadn't watched her boyfriend plummet to his ultimate demise. It was rare that Ethen actually survived the game. But that didn't make it any easier to watch. While she still had faith in her team and their backup wasn't to be counted out, it did give them a slight advantage. She could see that the aggressive plays were continuing and Atlas kept her eyes focused on her job. She had allowed too many points already and wanted to ensure her team had the best chance possible.

Luckily, it looked like Gryffindor was completely ignoring the quaffle and focused entirely on the attack and defense of their seeker. Points began to quickly flow in for their team as Atlas sat in defense of her posts. While wanting to help out her team that was still trying to get ahold of the game, she knew she couldn't just abandon her post. She remained surveying the field, looking for any opportunity to help as long as it didn't compromise the points. A small lead had been gained but she knew it could change in an instant and wouldn't matter if the snitch was caught this early.

Harder to hit on average, 10% on auto-dodge chance that anything that targets this wizard automatically misses. This is rolled separately from the attack roll.

Where was the snitch? Daphne just couldn’t find it but she glanced at the other seeker, and a sigh of relief washed over her seeing that neither of them were able to find it. She needed to keep going, she wasn’t about to be struck by a quaffle or player and end up tumbling to the ground. Hufflepuff could still win, all she needed to do was find the snitch.

Roxette was barely still in the match, breathing heavily. She was greatly weakened by the bludger that hit her. She was certain other one like that and she was off her broom and out of the game. She looked at Sage, her teammate, when asked if she was good. "Not really, but I'll stay until the end like always," she gave her a smile and thumbs up. "Jess did awesome with those free scores. Now we should get the snitch! I need the break," she joked and laughed though her pain throbbed in disagreement. She stopped her laughter before looking over at Sage. "Let's win this! Hufflepuff, let's go!" Roxette went back out there determined.

Landon cheered along with his teammates when he saw that they had scored 5o points while Gryffindor wasn't protecting their goalposts. He grinned. "Great job, Jess!" he called, smiling widely. He was proud of his team. No one seemed to get knocked off their brooms this time, so it was nice to have a little bit of a break from that. Now if they could just catch the snitch, they could win this game!

I finished my penalty and got back into the game. No one had tried to take me out, thankfully. No one else had fallen from their brooms either. My head's still so sore after taking a direct hit from a bludger. During my penalty lap, Hufflepuff had somehow scored 5 times making the score 50-20. This game just went from bad to worse. We've still got a chance though, the game's still long. We can make a comeback by just scoring a few or by catching the snitch.

"Come on, now!" I flail my hands in frustration. The match was getting serious, and thankfully no one was KOB this time. I was frustrated a little, so was the teammate sitting along with me and yelling out sutff.

The rain, the match, both seemed to reach the same ferociousness right about now. I kept fidgeting, with my fingers, feet, with my coat, and even squeezing out the water from hair out of frustration, when the goal was made from the other end.

I am super anxious about how this will all turn out to be, and seriously, no one should go through a KOB. Not now, we can't afford one right now.

Landon watched the game progress, his smile turning into a frown as he watched Gryffindor score points on the team. He was hoping that they wouldn't score more, but the game was still really interesting to watch. He was glad that Atlas was still in the game. She was a great Keeper and Landon hoped to be as good at it as she was. Sure, some points were scored on her, but she still did a great job.
