Since she had arrived, so had Alex, Carson, Millie, and Astra. Carson, she'd know and spent some time with over the summer, thanks to Maggie introducing them. But the others, Tatiana didn't know so well, and was hoping this would be a good opportunity to remedy that. The whole group was just about present, with the single exception of Sophia. There was a little chatter as they waited, but mostly everyone just seemed to be waiting for the late arrivals. The first to break the silence, Sylvie interjected with, “How has your guys’s summer been? Most of you guys went to the camp at Hogwarts right? I might go next summer."

A subtle blush rose in Tatiana's cheeks as the Slytherin girl spoke. She wasn't exactly sure what it was about her, but she always seemed a little more timid in her presence. It could have been because she was so pretty, maybe that made her feel a little intimidated, but maybe it was something else. But it wouldn't help much to think about that now, she was just grateful to the girl for bringing their friend group together in the first place.

Before she could answer her question, Maggie was recounting the activities of their summer so far. She was always organizing group events like this one, and manhunt had been quite a fun night. In fact, this one had just begun and she was already offering up ideas for yet another party- and this time, she was suggesting a huge party. If her lake party hadn't been considered huge, Tatiana was nervous to see what was. She looked around nervously as she suggested it, unsure if her poor introverted heart could take any more of Maggie's parties this summer; just hanging out in the ice cream parlour with so many people was already giving her a bit of anxiety.

Not wanting to seem like a buzzkill, she decided she'd go up to the counter and get some ice cream in an effort to avoid answering honestly. She loved coming to Florean's, they had so many more unique flavors than she was able to get at her small ice cream shop back home. Toffee, chocolate chili, and lavender and earl grey were among some of her favorites. Hoping she wasn't the only one who was going to indulge in a sweet treat, she offered to get a few for the rest of the group. "I think I'm going to grab some ice cream, would anyone else like anything?"

Carson drummed his fingers on the table as Maggie talked. A party sounded amazing! And he’d get to make more friends and meet more people... he was already looking forward to it. Anyone who’d been to one of her parties before could attest that they were always amazing.
“What if we did, like a costume party?” Carson suggested, as Tatiana got up from the table and asked everyone if they wanted anything. Carson shook his head, he wasn’t really hungry at the moment.
“Nah, but thanks for asking.” he grinned at her, but turned his attention back to the party quickly. “I mean, I know it’s not Halloween or anything, but I think it’d be sick.”If it was a costume party, he already knew what he’d wear, as long as a few people were willing to do it with him.
“Maybe we could have a costume contest or something? I already have a group costume in mind for my cabin.” he laughed, a wide grin stretching across his face at the idea. His “Muggle” (he felt weird calling them that) friends and him would always dress up in group costumes, and he wanted to continue the tradition with his magic friends.

Min-seo smiled at Sylvie. Summer camp was great! I loved hanging out with everyone! she said. She looked towards Carson as he mentioned a costume party. "Ooooh, yeah! That's sounds awesome!" Min-seo loved dressing up. She never liked Halloween because of how scary it was at times, but besides that, she really loved it. She turned to Tati and nodded her head. "Mint chocolate chip, thanks Tati," she said with a smile. She'd gotten to know Tatiana way better this summer, due the the summer camp. She'd gotten closer to everyone that went, especially her cabin in particular. Min-seo smiled to Maggie. She also loved to braid hair. "I know how to braid hair! Which type of braid? You name it, I can do it!" she said with a smile. Though she was the shy one in the group, she wanted to make an effort to be kind to everyone. She was surprised she was speaking this much, to be honest. If this was with anyone else, she would be saying the bare minimum. She smiled at Astra and waved as she came a bit late. She fiddled with her fingers slightly. They were still missing one person, right? That was right.

Maggie complimented her outfit, and Sylvie blushed a bit, looking down at the clothes she was wearing. "Oh, th-thanks! I like yours as well." Like always, her sister had put together the outfit she was wearing since Crystal was by far more fashionable than her sister. Sylvie could put together a decent outfit with a lot of effort, but without effort, it looked like she was completely sleep deprived.

Now, they were just waiting for Sophia, the first year Sylvie had recently met at the same ice cream shop they were at now. "Hopefully, she comes soon! I'd like to get to know her more." Just as she thought this she heard Maggie speak again. This time, she spoke about wanting to host a party. Carson had brought up the idea of a costume party. Sylvie wasn't really a huge fan of partys. This was mainly because while her other friends mingled with everyone she would either have to follow one of them around, try to mingle herself, or sit in the corner alone eating snack and drinking whatever they'd left out. If she followed her friend she would look weird, if she tried to mingle it would fail one way or another, and if she sat in the weirdo she'd look lonely. Lots of people seemed to be hyped about this party thought, so Sylvie smiled a bit, saying, "Yeah, that sounds fun. I don't know what I would go as though. Also, I don't have a cabin to do the group thing with, so maybe I could join one of your guy's?"

Tatiana had got up to get everyone ice cream as they discussed the party, and asked if anyone else wanted some. Just as she said this, Sylvie's sweet tooth kicked in. Luckily for her own sake she stopped herself before she litteraly yelled 'YES' in front of all of her friends. She took a breath and calmly said, "Sure, I'd like some! Here." She reached into the small wallet that she'd brought with her which seemed to be full of muggle money. If one zipper pocket though, there were a bunch of coins that Sylvie had gotten from Gringotts. She took two sickles out of it. "I'll take a scoop of the raspberry and chocolate. If you want, I can help you carry them back to the table. 9, well, 8 cups of ice cream is a lot!" She said, giggling a bit.

Fuck, ice-cream sounded amazing. However, taking a look into her bag, Millie sighed. She didn't bring her medicine in case she ended up getting sick. She fiddled in her bag for a minute, before spotting a container of her Lactaid medicine, and she grinned to herself. Millie in the past was a brilliant mastermind.

Millie looked over at Tatiana and grinned. "I'll take mint chocolate chip, too," She called. The medicine in her bag rattled for a moment, before she sat it on the table. A mandatory water bottle was always in her bag in case of moments like this, where she needed to take her medicine.

She pulled out the bottle, and pulled out a small pill, and a few sickles. She handed Tati the sickles, then took her medicine. She coughed for a moment, then swallowed some more water, and turned out to be fine.

Maggie and Carson went off on some random tangent about parties, and Millie looked off at some stores. Wizards and Witches alike walked around, chatting or shopping, and a new thought popped into the girls head. What if, instead of these old people, it was her, and her friends walking around. People she grew up with, and loved, or hated. She could imagine a future so pristine and perfect, what if it got ruined?

"A costume party is a cool idea." She piped up, looking back at the group.
