Yesterday was my first day of school at Hogwarts. It was so incredible to finally be able to enter this school. It isn't an ordinary school, it's a place for young witchs and wizards to learn how to control their new magical power. I was so excited by the idea of going to Hogwarts that I read plenty of books like "Hogwarts, A History", "The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" to be able to begin school with a few basics.
Today, I decided to visit the castle strating by the library. I was wearing the Hufflepuff uniform, a black headband and a necklace with a silver chain and a pendant with a blue moon and a small silver star. The necklace was a gift from my grand-mother for my eleventh birthday. It was like a lucky charm. I was looking distractedly to some aventure books before going to the potion section. I was searching precisely for a book called "Magical Drafts and Potions" by Arsenius Jigger.
The shelves where full of books with blue, green or red blindings with the titles writen in golden letters. It was quite impressive the amount of reading present in this library. I feel like i am going to spent a lot of time in the place...

Kora had chosen to go to the library one of her favorite places though this library would be knew a whole realm to explore. She had been walking through the shelf’s looking for a interesting looking book to read occasionally taking a book off the shelf to look at it then putting it back in place. It was quiet just the way kora liked it so peaceful dust partials floating in the air.
Kora walked down one set of shelf’s reading some titles none seemed to catch her eye though some did seem interesting she mentally noted to come back and read them one day.
Kora slowly ran her fingers over the spines of the books dust coming off onto her fingertips this was heaven to her she never wanted to leave.
The library was like a void for Kora time was irrelevant she could have been in there hours or minutes she didn’t know but she loved every second that past. She took a deep breath taking in the smell off old books and the smell of the wooden bookshelf’s god she wished she could smell this good just like this library though she knew if she spent enough time maybe she could.

When I was about to searched somewhere else, I heard footsteps neer around. I peered over a bunch of books et saw a girl who was about my age with short brown hair wearing a Gryffindor uniform. Considering the fact that it was only the beginning of the year, I walked slowly into her direction and then stopped behind her. She was looking as if she was very concentrate so I waited a moment before finally tapping her on the shoulder to catch her attention.
- Hi, do I know you ?
I've always liked reading different kind of books but there was a few of them that I put right at the top of my list. I read them oftenly even if I already now the rest of the story. I continued looking for my potion book when I saw by the corner of my eye that the Gryffindor girl was holding this exact same book in her right hand. I stopped et turned around :
- Sorry but, do you really need this book in your hand ? Because you see, I absolutely need it for a homework so if you could just handle it to me I would really appreciate it.
I wasn't trying to be rude, just clear on what my intentions where. I smiled bitterly at her and waited for her to give the book that I was looking for.

Kora turned around when she felt a tap on her shoulder it wasnt like she expected anyone to disturb her from the wonder that was the quiet of the libarary. When she turned she came face to face with a girl dressed in a Hufflepuff uniform kora noted how it complimented the girl quite well. Kora stoood there a moment before replying to this girls question.
"no i dont think so sorry"
It wasnt an odd question but it didnt change the fact that koras once tranquil peace had been disrupted. Kora held in her hand a potions book she had spotted it and thought it could be a good read help with her class and with her homework she hadnt thought someone else would need to use it but when the girl asked if she could kora would have ofcorse let this girl use it.However the smile the girl gave kora wasnt the most kind more sour like asking seemed pointlessit made kora rethink her response.
"oh sorry i kinda need it maybe ask if there is another copy or something"
Kora plastred on a fake smile to match the girls bitter one. Now she knew this could go two ways a nice one or not that how people worked she supposed she waited to see what was next.
