Fumiko looked up, her midnight eyes scanning the carefully detailed bones of a dinosaur. Or what it had been. Long necks almost reaching the high ceiling of the Museum, their jaw opened so the visitors could get a better look. So, this was the Footlounge Duke.
She looked down at the guide in her hands. Ah, her mistake. It was the ' Futalognkosaurus dukei '. She muttered a ' sorry ' to the bones, giving it a quick bow before turning on her heel to see other dinosaur bones.
She wasn't sure if the bones had actually supported flesh of a Futotalungsaures Dukei in the past but she felt guilty of getting their name wrong anyway. Fake or not, the Futo..futt... . She took a peek at her guide. Futalognkosaures Dukei should be respected since they never did anything wrong to Fumiko so the least she could do is remember their name.
She took her wrist closer to her chest and investigated the expensive ' men ' watch wrapped around it despite being a bit lose. Her butler Florence wanted her to get some fresh air after being in a hotel for too long so he sent her to this museum to explore and ' make memories ' .
She was sure he was just pitying her for returning to London without a close friend to spend the holidays with. He was hoping Fumiko would make a friend here and discuss the fotuotoku doke dinosaur while sipping on mineral water.
Thus, he gave Fumiko his watch so she'll be aware how slow time goes on.
Not that she disliked going to the museum, she just hated the reason why she was here in the first place. Yes, she didn't make many memories in her first year but couldn't Florence just be content that she came home safely? Though she had to stay in a hotel because her house is still being renovated, at least she was safe!
She took one more blank look at the futoto dinosaur. " This is stupid " she muttered as she walked away. Ignoring the pre-scholar that gasped and complained about her ' bad language ' to his teacher.
She didn't stop until she came to the aquatic life section. The section was a bit dark compared to the dinosaur section. With lights in tanks that showed bones or pictures of aquatic life before her time. Fortunately, there weren't a lot of people, making her relieved as she took a seat on the nearest bench.
After scanning for muggles or security cameras, she took out her wand from her large pocket. She couldn't see it much with the lack of light but she remembered exactly what it looked like.

When down and empty, Fumiko liked to look at her wand. Reminded her that Hogwarts wasn't just a dream and she wasn't going to get ready for another year at her posh private school. No one else was here to assure her, other than a few letters from the friends she made at Hogwarts.
Her ears perked up at the sudden sound of rowdy children and a panicking voice of a teacher that clearly was trying to get the children to calm down.
Fumiko' tsked 'at the sight, returning a glare at the same kid that tattled her and placed her wand back into her pocket. She had all the time in the world to go up to the kid and smack his head but she rather not get scolded by the anxious pre-school teacher, who too clearly hates all her pupils but is desperate to keep her job.
From the same pocket, she pulled out her Museum Guide, unaware of how her wand silently slipped out in the process. Landing almost soundlessly on the chair she sat.
Getting up, she walked towards where copies of ancient shells displayed and pretending to be amazed.

~ * ~Ruby was still brimming with anger after the recent events in her household. How could they hide something like that from her, why did they do this, why did it have to be her, why couldn't she just have a normal, happy family, why didn't her parents seem to love her? She was grateful that she had still retained most of the freedom that she had had in previous years, as it meant that she wouldn't have to stay at home all the time or she could at least ignore most of her family.
There was a museum that she liked to go to sometimes, especially for observing people and thinking, and it was close enough to her house that it was easily within walking distance. She knew that she had to try to stay away from her family as much as possible for a few weeks to prevent herself from doing anything stupid or acting on her rage. It was good to get some time for contemplating in, especially when she was so full of emotion. So, she had decided to go to the nearby museum. The distance was so short that it wasn't dangerous for her to walk alone – and it was broad daylight and she was armed with her wand, so she was fine anyway.
She had left a note on the table saying where she was going, although she doubted anyone cared, and then she had packed a little bag and set off. She hadn't had any trouble when making the journey, and had wandered with her hands in her pockets, taking the most direct route. The sounds of the city had drifted to her ears, accompanied by the gentle tapping of her footsteps. Then, she had entered the museum, doing what she had to in order to get in.
She trailed her fingertips across the walls without thinking as she wandered into one of the largest rooms. A small smile danced across her lips, and she paused off to the side and out of people's way, observing the people in the room. Groups of people were clumped together – small children visiting for school, people of mixed ages crowded around a tour guide, families pointing out the things they liked and talking together, and the occasional lone adult wandering around. Ruby took out her clipboard, some paper, and a pencil from her bag and began drawing the scene. It was surprisingly accurate and extreme detailed, but considering that she had been practicing multiple times every day for years, the skill that she had obtained from hard work was not at an unreasonable level.
When she finished, she moved onto one of her favorite rooms to sit and think in: the aquatic life area. She remembered her first times coming to the museum and how she had been in awe at all of the history and knowledge in the building, but in the time since, she had read most everything in here, so she now just came to observe people, be out of the house, and to think. Generally, this particular room was pretty empty, and this time was not an exception. The only person apart from her that was in the room was a girl that looked about Ruby's age. She seemed fairly ordinary, and Ruby would not have given her a second thought if she hadn't spotted the wand falling out of the girl's pocket and onto the chair near her.
Silently fuming at the girl's stupidity, Ruby stalked over to the wand and snatched it up, then grabbed onto the girl's shoulders, not tightly enough to hurt her, but it gave her enough control that the Slytherin could spin the girl around and press her against the wall. With the girl now facing her and with Ruby's body shielding them from any prying eyes of Muggles (thank goodness there were no security cameras in this room), Ruby let go of one of the shoulders to hold the girl's wand in front of her face before slipping it back away. “What is the meaning of this?” she hissed angrily. “Are you stupid? You could have exposed us or got your wand stolen!” She paused for a second, her ice blue eyes seeming to pierce the girl and stare into her very soul. “Do you go to Hogwarts?”
Ruby did not look like a witch either at first glance. The Slytherin had made an effort to wear Muggle clothes when coming out here – albeit nice ones. She wore a silk button-down short-sleeved shirt and gray shorts that went down almost to her knees. A flat gray cap lay atop her head, covering some of the dark curls that spilled down around her shoulders. She rarely wore her hair down, but this time was an exception, for no real reason. Perhaps she wanted to make sure that she looked a little different from normal… just in case.~ * ~

Fumiko wasn't one to sense danger like spider man did. She's just good at avoiding things that come at her. Trying to hit her with that dodgeball? Too bad, you'll miss. Her small body and quick feet made it almost impossible for her to lose in games like dodge ball.
Senses were different. You can't see a sense neither can you hear it. It's just from the presence in the air, or the gut feeling you get. Fumiko didn't have that talent. But perhaps, if she just listened to the sudden chill in the air, she would've avoided getting slammed to a wall and trapped under a girl Fumiko had never seen before.
At first glance, though the lack of light from the aquatice section hid a lot of the girl's features, Fumiko could make out some of her attacker's features. Cold eyes, clean face, and hair that looked like it was brushed to perfection. She already didn't like her.
Perhaps it was because the attacker reminded her of the ideal girl her aunt wanted Fumiko to be. Someone she could never be. Not apprecitaing the close contact, and very eager to get the hell away from her attacker, she opened her mouth to scream before her eyes landed on a familiar looking wand her attacker was holding.

The way the girl said it, it made Fumiko bit her bottom lip nervously. It was like when parents ask you a rhetorical question and even if you reply or not, they'll scold you anyways. She had never been attacked so harshly before, her shivering hands and beating heart were unavoidable but she kept a blank face, hiding her shaking hands in her pockets.. “What is the meaning of this?” she hissed angrily. “Are you stupid? You could have exposed us or got your wand stolen!” She paused for a second, her ice blue eyes seeming to pierce the girl and stare into her very soul. “Do you go to Hogwarts?”
The mention of Hogwarts sent alarms in her head. Was her attacker from Hogwarts? Crap, this just made acting dumb harder. When she thought she could be herself, a student from her school just had to show up and witness her do sometime incredibly stupid.
Should she lie to the girl? Could she trust her lack of presence to be assured the girl before her had never seen Fumiko before? She was just utterly conflicted on how she should act in this situation. Is saying ' thank you ' to someone who pushed her to a wall normal?
" I- um..y..yes I'm from H-hogwarts. " she wanted to slap herself at how she was genuinely stuttering. " I.. would've n-noticed it ..." her will to fight off the girl didn't match with her shaky tone.
If only the girl only tapped on her shoulder instead of trapping her like this. It would've been easier to say ' thank you '.
