Ravenclaw v Slytherin Quidditch Game Finished

Sorry this took me so long, things have made it hard to get this past in. I apologize.

Dan Palmer (Seeker): Catch the Snitch

Ravenclaw had not found the snitch as of yet, they were falling behind Slytherin. River would scan the field, perhaps @River Dewlight was guided by the Slytherin's Seeker's gaze as a protective unit of snakes started to converge around their Seeker.

It would be then that she saw it! That little glint of gold. IT WAS THERE!

Team Slytherin had already found the snitch, the team was going to work together and compile their resources to The team was going to end this game quickly. @Elijah Huang would toss the quaffle away and abandon the rings to grab hold of Dan's arm. The quaffle would sail through the air and Ruby would try to catch the errant leather ball.

Lavinia Cloven attempts to intercept the quaffle pass.

Elena Jones attempts to intercept the quaffle pass.
Roll: 7 + 20 = 27

Both @Arc Perscivious and @Lavinia Cloven attempted to intercept the quaffle but @Elena Jones was also ready to take the quaffle. She would almost snatch the quaffle, but Arc was a mere second faster and then zoom away towards the Slytherin goal.

@Hengist Warbeck would not have to act and Elijah abandoned his station. The boy would lob the quaffle through the rings. SCORE!

Playing by the rules and playing nice... was for losers.

@Cecily Quinn would try to ram Koko, taking the girl out of the game. However, Koko would suddenly drop in elevation and would dash past Koko, running over her head. Koko would feel the wind rush past her. It was a close one.

"Foul!" Solomon shouted, a sound of distress in his voice. What are these kids trying to do, kill each other! Merlin, this is too dangerous. He blew on his whistle. The crowd did not seem to mind the dirty move, several cheered words of encouragement as an exasperated Headmaster made wild movements with his arms that indicated that Cecily needed to take a lap around the field. 
 
Elijah did not look like a strong boy but he was a clever boy and he knew how to best utilize leverage to his advantage. He spun the fellow Slytherin about in a full circle twice and with all of the power the pre-teen could likely muster he would relinquish his hold and fling young @Dan Palmer across the field in the direction of the golden snitch.

@Angellica Rowley would notice the lonesome Keeper in the middle of the field. That would be his undoing. The Ravenclaw Beater would hit the bludger in Elijah's direction. The hard ball would fly in the direction of the unprepared Slytherin youth.

The wily youth would escape death once again. The bludger would fly over his left shoulder, brushing against his hair. So intimately close.

There was a good chance that Dan might get the snitch and end the game. @Emma Hill and @Amanda Sparrow were going to take the projectile (the Seeker Dan) down before he grabs the snitch.

Attack Roll: 15 + 9 = 24 success
Evasion Roll (Koko): 7 + 6 = 13
Damage: 900 Koko defended Dan but was knocked from the broom.

The steadfast defender Miss Riddle tried to swat away the bludger but the bludger got through her defenses and hit the poor girl in the ribs. She might have felt some of her ribs crack. The girl would be pushed off her broom and send hurdling to the ground. None of her allies were ready to save her. Koko would face-plant on the sopping wet ground hard. 

"Nurse!" Solomon cried out. The little girl was hit hard. He rushed over to her, the broom at her side. was she breathing? He watched her back rise and fall. Ok good. He let out a sigh of relief. Thankfully these kids are made of rubber.

Dan was once again vulnerable. He reached out for the snitch -- did he get it?

Evasion Roll: 2 + 6 = 8
Damage: 700 Dan was knocked from his broom.

Amanda Sparrow would wack the bludger and hit Dan as he zoomed across the field on his broom. The bludger would his him square in the right shoulder blade. The sudden, painful blow would rock the small boy and his grip would slip on the slick broomshaft. Dan would fall.

@Alexx Séverin, back from her lap of shame was now prepared to save Dan in case Ravenclaw converged onto their Seeker. She would dive towards the ground and try to save the Seeker. She would grab him by the collar and swing him onto the broom with her brutish (9) strength. Solomon almost vomited as Alexx performed the save. He imagined a ward full of the broken bodies of the students playing this game and he shuddered.

That was a close one. Did Dan get the snitch?

Snitch: Both teams know where the Snitch is located, however Slytherin has known where the snitch is for one round longer than Ravenclaw.

Quaffle: It is in nobody's possession -- it will require a quafflegrab to get possession of this quaffle.

Blatching: There was an attempted blatching. Cecily would be called on the foul for that, effecting her next round action.

Shared Broom: Dan was knocked off the broom. He is sharing a broom with Alexx. He will need to recover his broom next round or do his actions (shared) on that broom. They can only perform one action each round when they have a shared broom.

Finally, another goal had been made and she was just thankful that the points went to Ravenclaw. Like always, however, they were still on the attack and the game wasn't over. Yet. A huge smile appeared on her face as Arc put the goal through the hoops. It was an easy ten points, but anything would be helpful.

Another Slytherin beater was down and for a second, she thought the seeker was as well. Oh well, with their defense down it made striking much easier now that the fear of one of her teammates getting hit with a bludger had passed. She looked from the two beaters and then to the chasers, a small grin forming as she nodded a few times. Go, Cecily, go!

They had scored, and Angellica gave a grin and a victorious fist pump in the air at Arc's achievement. He could be scary, but in that moment, it was overcome by that thrive for success. They were in the lead, and if she wasn't mistaken their Seeker had noticed the ball that could end the game and essentially set them a first victory. She had to do what she had to in order to ensure that.

Once she glanced at Emma, it was like they were on the same wave length. With darts of eyes and a few nods, the blonde knew exactly what she had to accomplish. Getting into position, she aimed herself towards a bludger she had plans to hit with all her might towards a specific target. Though she had missed all of her targets, she could only hope this one would prove a better chance for success.

Arm stretched back, she brought it forward so that her bat would meet in a manner she could only imagine would be thunderous in an attempt to strike her mark.

Wow it seemed just like luck but it must have been skill since Ravenclaw was on fire. We had all eight of our players still on their brooms when Slytherin only had four brooms going. Lavinia knew that Ravenclaw really just needed this move to win the game. She had been successful on 1 out of her 3 attempts at the goal and Arc had also just scored so they were doing well.

Lavinia looked to her captain for the next move and with a few head nods she was ready once more. This time she would succeed and help her team out. With a second of a thought about her dad she started up her next move. All that stood in her way was five players dressed in green and with the quaffle free anything seemed possible.

Cecily huffed as she angled her broom towards the edge of the arena. Stupid penalty. She wouldn't be half as annoyed if it had even been for something, but no. She missed her target, and now she had to take a lap around the field for no purpose. Dammit!

As she flew as fast as she possibly could around the edge of the pitch, she kept an eye on her team. They were so close to a win. They just had to pull it off. And they would. They would crush these snakes, and take the win for themselves. And then they would have an epic victory party somewhere Slytherin would notice them and it would be fantastic. But first, Cecily had to get herself back in the game.

The snakes had managed to find the Snitch, but they would still try to score with the Quaffle. He just knew it. Elijah tried to pass the Quaffle before trying to help Dan only for Arc to snatch it midair. He was only a mere second faster than one Elena Jones, but he got the ball nonetheless. With no keeper to protect their goal, the dark-haired boy score without any resistance. Finally!

Arc could not relax or celebrate yet, though. Another beater from the Slytherin was down. But the game was still on. And the conclusion was what truly mattered. Emma made her sign for what might have been the last strategy for the game and the kid zoomed once again on his broom.

Hengist noticed that the game was now really starting to get both much more violent and chaotic. This was another aspect of Quidditch he wasn't terribly fond of. Still, he did notice a few things from his post by the rings. Though he wasn't sure how, he was able to see the quaffle go through one of the Slytherin rings, even though it should've already been in their possession. 'One of our chasers must have somehow gotten ahold of it during the confusion' he thought.

That confusion, however, lead to even more. In the span of what seemed like a few seconds, he saw two of the Slytherins get knocked off their brooms, though one was saved. All the action seemed to be converging around the two seekers. However, this chain of events meant that the opposing team had, essentially, no defense. This could only mean one thing...time for Emma's play. He was dreading this eventuality. The required events leading up to this play always seemed a bit underhanded to Hengist, but he supposed that's how this game is and he would never fully understand it. 'Idiot, now's not the time for speculation...there is a plan and I have to do my part in it...'

Not everything was going to plan, that annoying little quidditch player had barely knocked her out of the way to get the quaffle. This was infuriating!

Elena looked around, there was something they could do, lord knows it was a chance, and Dan didn’t have his broom so he’d need that back soon. Probably as a priority, maybe.

She shook her head, time to focus on the game rather than the maybes, a plan had to be created and executed in enough time to win the game and destroy the opponents. Well, not destroy, Elena still wanted to have tea with Amanda so they could discuss journalism opportunities.[/font]
