──Life Before Beauxbatons────── Sylvie was born in Hong-Kong on a cool January night, the 13th of 2013 An odd day for such a child to be born. When her mother held her in her arms, she was shocked for a mere moment. Her child was so pale, so... Ill looking. The nurses told her it was all fine however. Sylvie grew up in a fancy manor on the outskirts of France in the Èze commune. Her family moved to France when she was no more than three months old, as her father wanted her to experience French culture. There, she lived with her mother, father, and two younger siblings. She was taught all the things a person would need to know as a PureBlood of two well known lines. Therefore, Sylvie is pristine and poised of all things.

Her two younger siblings, twins, were born without her rare condition. She is loved nonetheless. Her two brothers, Felix and Florian, are two years younger than her and rascals. Despite being raised to be poise, those nine year olds can't help but run around causing trouble. She loves them both so much, despite their annoyance. Sylvie is close with her father, often staying with him in his study. Her mother and her have a rough relationship. Ever since she came out of the womb, looking like a ghost, her mother has always been strange around her. They get along, but not as well as a mother and daughter should

First Instance of Magic ──────────── Sylvie was sitting with her father in his study late at night. The stars shone in the sky as her father made star charts. She sat in the corner, practicing her Violin. She kept missing a note, and got so mad that the string on her bow just broke. It smacked her across the face. The young child cried loudly, as the bowstring stung as it slapped across her skin. Luckily, her father noticed and with a swish of his wand and an incantation, she was healed. She was seven years old.

Her father, Mathias LaCroix, was a french man who attended Beauxbatons back in his day. A fine scholar of Astrology, loving the stars. Her mother, Jie Li, attended Mahoutokoro despite being Chinese. Her father moved their family to Japan when she was nine. Mathias and Li met at a ball hosted by Hogwarts when they were both seventh years. Li and Mathias bonded, and ended up keeping in contact by Owls. After graduation, they were married. ──────────── Family History
