The events which transcribed last night at the annual Gala held within the castle left Meiyu feeling resentment. She had briefly dwelled on the matter as she strolled throughout the fortress, directing herself towards the Great Lake, appreciating the warm mid-day autumnal weather. With the season's change, leafs had begun falling after resembling warm maple, scattering themselves across the fields surrounding the castle. The slight breeze amidst the warm air participated in the soothing of her temper with her dress of choice assisting the air in its embrace of her warm skin. Her mind had wandered particularly to the incident of the evening, where in which her words left one of her peers in tears, Meiyu's controversial method of communication was taken too harshly by the heartbroken Ravenclaw, her assumption of the blonde lion she had befriended weeks prior to the gala, was a truthful assumption to make, evident by her haste reaction to a mere suggestion of asking the boy to dance.
Her arrival at the edge of the Great Lake brought her immediate peace, her internal monologue halting with her appreciation for the stillness of the water as the girl ruled on her course of action this afternoon — mere reflection of her inadequate behaviour. Meiyu slowly made her way along the lake's boardwalk, seating herself at the edge of the wooden structure, admiring her own reflection in the still dark azure shade the water emitted. Her hair styled in a almost representative style of two plaited pieces, her debuted burgundy red complimenting the change in season.
Meiyu's feet swayed over the edge of the structure, her mind trailing into a state of ponder once more, recalculating the formulae of last night as though she could have done something more eventful. Her expressionless facade mirrored into the lake's reflection led her thoughts back to the Slytherin boy from the courtyard, she had been intrigued by his presence since that fateful day, continuing to question his intentions. The bold statement made with her risqué dress of choice had faced its repercussions, whispers plaguing her eardrums with how she must have tried to impress somebody, it was as if she was approaching the brink of social suicide at the age of eleven. Had she cared about useless chatter, she would have ridiculed the students who participated in that chatter, her desire for control itched at her to resolve the preconceptions surrounding her, fuelling her irritation once again. The mere thought of the fellow lion who had pointed the boy in question out, amidst onlookers had worsened the situation, the funny lion had almost embarrassed her with his lack of etiquette — clearly his muggle status led to his inability to behave in an adequate manner.
The lioness relished in the serenity the Great Lake brought, many students chose to avoid the region with an introduction to a new season — particularly colder ones, thus it was no surprise that the silence she had basked in had rudely been interrupted by a passerby, the young girl's rage heightened with the sound of footsteps crunching on fallen leaves, as though cascading through their graveyard with the end of their lives.
"Thought you'd be braver than to sulk alone by the lake?" A voice had interrupted her peaceful solitude, she refused to give the trespasser her undivided attention, the lake did that for her, masking the intruders anonymity as she gawked at the figures reflection.
"I do not recall audience. Would you like me to bask you in glory for finding me?” Meiyu uttered in a sharp intonation, almost gritting her teeth, deciding that the act of denying the intruder her gaze was enough of a defiance.
TDLR Meiyu is raging in solitude, she is interrupted.

AEIOUSAThe crunch of leaves beneath Prat's feet echoed louder than he had intended or even expected disrupting whatever sense of tranquility Meiyu had been seemingly occupying herself with. He spotted her from a distance. Noting the tension she seemed to have in her shoulders, the subtle twitch of her fingers."Thought you'd be braver than to sulk alone by the lake?" he said, his voice carrying the usual edge that came naturally to him. The reflection in the water distorted from the tiny pebbles he threw in, watching as the water broke their image away.
Her voice dripping with veiled disdain. "I do not recall audience. Would you like me to bask you in glory for finding me?" Prat smiled, the sound almost drowned by the whispering breeze. "Basking in glory comes naturally. I prefer something more adrenaline inducing or far more interesting." His gaze lingered on her reflection with the water now settling. He had an intuition her inner conflict mirrored his. But without any extra knowledge, he would reject himself any and all assumptions. "I do not know what worries ail you, at least not all of them. People talk."
He took a step closer, careful not to invade her space too much, but still enough to bounce a pebble back into the lake, watching it dance and flop over the water several hops. "Tell me, Meiyu, why bother caring about it? They don't define you. And if it bothers you that much, why not clear the air with whatever or whoever is your source of misery." The lad's own reflection now merging with hers in the water, creating a distorted image of two people, both with their own troubles. He wondered if she would let him in, even just a little, If this was even helping her at all.
The lake’s surface came back to settle and seem calm, but he was yet not rid of his inner turmoil, he believed throwing himself recklessly into being busy and not giving himself time to think would ease his troubles, that was yet to be seen in his case however. Perhaps this was his own way of talking to himself as much as it was his attempt to converse with her. “We’re all dealing with our issues, you know. Yours just happen to be more visible to you.” He awaited her response, knowing that beneath whatever veneer of indifference she might maintain, she was as human as anyone else, seeking understanding in a world that often felt it was their right to judge too fast too soon. Perhaps that was the cross for all promising pure bloods to wear. Judgement and loathing from peers who simply were not born with these possessions.
The Slytherin boy studied her reflection in the lake, the way her eyes barely even turned towards him, her face set to face away, perhaps in defiance. It was worthy of tiny fragment of admiration from an eleven year old, or whatever her age was. Even if it might turn into a double-edged sword.
He sat down beside her, maintaining his distance. Pressing her further, with a gentle yet probing tone. "I thought you were above petty gossip." This was obviously something he lacked experience in. He had never shown weakness enough to require comforting or anything resembling that. It'd be a disgrace on his name were he to even come close enough to doing that."I get it. Sometimes it feels like we’re all playing roles, trying to fit into molds that weren’t made for us. But you can be more than their expectations." This was no longer him talking to her or consoling her, but him having a much needed conversation with his own self that he required to feel at peace again. Settle the turmoil deep within his thoughts, come to terms with the reality of this world they existed in.
"Often times it's hard to find the gap between your real self and the expectations that you've been molded to fit. Those who can’t choose what they desire often end up hiding behind masks like cages of their own self." Perhaps the conversation they both were a part of came to two different tangents in their head. Prat had a made a rather profound discovery about his thoughts, some that might not have been possible were it not for him to see another pitiful person and channel his thoughts into. Sighing as he waited for her response "well not that the last part should really be your concern. That was more of just a blanket statement to take into consideration i suppose." He wasn't about to let all his façade wash away in front of a younger student. He had a reputation to maintain and being emotional was not one.

The almost echo like resonance of his voice that had rudely disturbed Meiyu's peaceful solitude only contributed in her growing irritation. She almost rolled her eyes once he had replied, the arrogance evident through his choice of words was enough for the lioness to form her judgement, he clearly was a snake. Yet his final remark caused her eyes to widen with horror, "People talk." Surely the careless whispers she despised had not resulted in her becoming the subject of said whispers, her brows furrowed in contemplation; it was unlikely for other students to know exactly what she had felt about a particular upperclass-man, and the odd infatuation she had for him Meiyu had attempted to disguise for distaste towards to rival house.
Her eyes watched the ripples emitted from the pebble thrown into the lake, quickly replaced by his reflection which had clearly overshadowed her own, much to her dismay. "I never said I was miserable, perhaps you've gotten it all wrong." She scoffed, growing more irate with his intrusion. The continuous misunderstanding of her lack of emotional vulnerability had proven to become a reoccurring theme here, albeit the lioness had only been at the school for a few months. Nevertheless, it had disturbed her, being perceived in a manner different to how she had hoped to portray herself through what she believed to be calculated. Meiyu appreciated the sentiment, yet part of her could not trust the boy who had chosen to pry on her like a weakling, she wondered if his monologue was a form of self-reflection, assuming his words were a mere deflection of his own issues. Her palms gripped the edge of the wooden walk-board, her knuckles almost turning white with the tight grip she held refusing to give him the satisfaction he desired. "Why would I care about other peoples issues?" Meiyu questioned with a scoff, her tone laced with disbelief, the young girl was not one to encompass a laissez-faire attitude but the Slytherin's choice of words gave her the impression she was required to dote him.
Breaking her fixated gaze on the calmness of the water, Meiyu had finally turned to the boy, noting his appearance; his almost hazel eyes shielded by a pair of circular glasses which had framed his features almost perfectly. With her focus now on the snake who continued to terrorise her, the young girl maintained her gaze on him, his evident desire to bother her had only encouraged Meiyu to respond in the only way she could, to stare. She titled her head as he continued, almost boring her with his self assigned role of student mentor, switching her position to a less defiant one, opting to lean back ever so slightly, her lips curving slightly in amusement once she quickly noticed his words were no longer directed at her. Meiyu's mind briefly pondered on why the boy had appeared so familiar on closer inspection, perhaps noticing him at the Gala last night, dancing with a lioness who she had likely crossed paths with in their shared common room.
"Done with the soliloquy?" She questioned once more, Meiyu’s calm gaze anything but friendly as she held his eyes, her patience wearing dangerously thin. She had tolerated his unsolicited advice and his arrogant monologue for as long as she could, all while her frustration simmered beneath her cool facade. He was still talking, unaware that her tolerance had dwindled to zero, she stood, brushing off any specks of dirt from her clothes as she took one last look at him. "Since find yourself so concerned with 'people,' maybe you should spend a little more time around them and a little less lecturing them," she said, her voice calm but laced with irritation. A mischievous glint sparked in her eyes as she leaned in closer, dropping her voice to a taunting whisper. "Because, between you and I...I could care less."
Then, before he had a moment to process the subtle warning, she moved without hesitation. One swift nudge, and he stumbled backward, his balance momentarily lost as his heels teetered at the edge of the wooden board, almost smiling when the snake splashed into the lake, the cold water’s echo punctuating the silence Meiyu had initially craved. A faint smirk forming as she watched him scramble to stay afloat in the shallow lake water. "Consider that your reminder," she called back, her voice carrying across the lake, "to mind your own business."

AEIOUSA𝔭rat broke into the surface of the water with a gasp, clothes clinging to him as he dragged himself out of the lake, chilling. He could still hear Meiyu's voice, sharp and grating, slicing through his ears canal and thoughts like an unwanted intrusion. By now, Annoyance had bubbled to the surface of his demeanor. Her voice was really annoying as it started to get on his nerves.
While standing on the wooden walk-board, he shook off the excess water from his clothes, fixing his gaze on the younger lion. With a flick of his wand, he proceeded to cast Mimbelwindle, the silencing charm, directing it straight at her. "Shut up already,", his voice cutting through the tension. "Your voice is annoying, and I have run out of patience to listen further." He had his fill of her relentless prattling and ungrateful attitude.
With the silencing charm in place, Prat finally felt a sense of calm as the chatterbox was silenced. Running a hand through his wet hair, he pushed it back from his face. Maybe now he could have some peace and quiet, he thought. Prat took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his frustration fading away with time, fast than he anticipated. He turned back to Meiyu, silenced by the Mimbelwindle spell, thinking she was probably glaring daggers at him.
"Look" he began, his voice more composed now, back to his senses he was. "My intention wasn't to lecture you. I apologize for that. I got carried away with my own thoughts." he finished, not yet removing the spell on her. The silence was nicer for now.

Meiyu's successful attack brought an unusual smile to her face, very rarely enjoying mischievous moments like this during her time at the castle, finding it oddly refreshing. Her joy however, was short lived. The now drenched snake who had resurfaced onto the water casted a charm on her, a very cowardly move. Yet, the nerve, Meiyu could at least credit him that. She had barely spoken as much in comparison to the older snake, who had deemed her to be the perfect victim for his unwarranted soliloquy.
Any brief bouts of joy the lioness had, vanished in an instant, her blood beginning to boil with rage.
At this moment, she was defenceless, her voice stolen from her, but not her spirit. She cast him her infamous death glare, a look that could freeze fire. He offered a hollow, smug apology she hadn’t asked for, his words dripping with arrogance. Her mind raced with alternative actions to retaliate against him. Breaking his wand flashed through her thoughts, but then — how would he lift the spell? Irregardless, the more she pondered, the more it dawned upon her: his act was cowardly. He had drawn his wand against her as though duelling a wandless wizard. Her uncle Alaric’s words echoed in her mind: “Never strike someone who cannot defend themselves.” Clearly, Prat hadn’t learned that lesson.
Without missing a beat, Meiyu stepped forward, her movements deliberate and predatory, embodying the lioness within. Each step echoed with unspoken fury. She closed the distance between them, her eyes locked onto his, the fire in her gaze burning brighter than any spell.
In one swift motion, she swung her leg, aiming a well-placed kick at his groin while maintaining fierce, unbroken eye contact. The kick was what he deserved.
He clearly had underestimated the wrong girl.

AEIOUSA𝕭efore Prat could make sense of what was happening, something very unlikely and abrupt took place. Without even time to dodge, just enough to brace himself for impact, he was now taking the the brunt of Meiyu's kick. He managed to take it quite well, with an almost surprising stoicism. As his expressions contorted into a mix of pain and indignance, all he could think of was to further instigate her as he proceeded to call her an "Uncivilized beast," through gritted teeth, with his eyes narrowing as he stared down at her much smaller frame.
He took a moment to compose himself, his pride evidently was more bruised than his own body. His hand hovered over his wand, contemplating his next move. The chance of throwing another spell at her, yet something within him seemed to hesitate, possibly a choice to not worsen the situation further or it was the sudden realization that this was no ordinary encounter. The realization that Meiyu might not be the helpless victim he might have assumed her to be. The water around them stilled, and the air grew tense, charged with the electricity of a brewing confrontation that had just escalated beyond mere banter and mischief.
"You will step back" Prat hissed through clenched teeth. "I'll release the spell... if you prove to me you're capable of even the slightest restraint." His hand remained poised over his wand, it's tip trembling slightly as he focused on his own aim. With his poised stance back in use, Prat uttered an incantation under his breath, the hot air charm he cast left him dry once more. He straightened up, this was his attempt at regaining some semblance of dignity. He waited for her response, eyes never leaving hers, as the tension between them palpable. It was clear that he was not one to back down easily, despite the show of strength she had put forth previously.
Prat had managed to cast Finite Incantatem on her, freeing her voice, yet the smugness in his gaze remained. "Apologize," he spat out, his voice a low growl that didn't quite match his earlier nonchalance. His arms over his chest, the very picture of haughty expectation. He was the one who had cast a silent charm on her, and yet he demanded an apology. Some would consider him being unreasonable, he wasn't some. "For your... unladylike behavior," he finally managed to say, his voice stoic. Would he see the error of his ways, or would he double down on his arrogance? Only time would tell.

Meiyu's brows furrowed as the anger continued to brew inside her, evidently becoming one with her at this point. Being subjected to a spell which took her words, albeit minimal in usual situations, had vastly irritated her. Yet the snake who stood before her, attempting to intimidate her with his height, had only managed to worsen the situation with his spiteful venom, proving once more he was nothing but a pathetic vermin. It was laughable yet her expression remained blank, with a vengeful glare, her eyes fixated on his, her lip curling into a satisfying smirk at his well deserved moment of pain.
As Prat moved, his hand hovering his wand, her brow raised with her expression faltering. Her mind raced with possible spells he would throw at her following her assault on him, yet a voice in her mind reminded her that he had been the one to draw his wand, irregardless to her previous actions. In Meiyu's mind, he was the one in the wrong. The thick tension between them, entwined with the sudden stillness of the lake, yet broken by his harsh tone caused her to instinctively step back. Her behaviour was unwarranted and new, she had never behaved in such manner prior to her attendance at Hogwarts. Yet his demand for an undeserved apology only fuelled the growing blaze he had initiated.
Her breathing quickened, with their eyes fixated on each other, her anger bubbling once more until she raised her hands up, initiating a truce her gaze quickly softening appearing apologetic in the best way she could, her brown cat like eyes welling up slightly as though tears would threaten to spill. The moment the silencing spell lifted, Meiyu’s lips curved into a slow, venomous smile, one that didn’t quite reach her eyes. She took a few deliberate steps closer, getting closer than they initially had been, breaking the distance between them that had only proven to be harmful for both parties.
"Uncivilized beast?" she repeated, her voice a low, as though she was mocking him before continuing. "You’re one to talk, floundering around like a drowned rat because you couldn’t handle a bit of water." Meiyu tilted her head, her gaze slicing through him like a blade, a calculated flicker of disdain in her expression as she watched him cross his arms, a clear attempt at showing dominance, fortunately having no impact on her as he evidently had hoped it would. "Besides, did your family not teach you to draw your wand on anyone?" She questioned, her tone laced with icy condescension as her gaze flicked over him like he was something insignificant. "Or is this your version of a gentlemanly duel? Insults and cheap spells? Pathetic, if you ask me."
She folded her arms, the chill in the air no longer able to mask the tension between them as it previously did, as though it had been a blanket of warmth on the cold afternoon. "You’ll need more than words and weak charms to put me in my place." she spoke once more, her smirk sharpening into something colder. "But if that’s all you’ve got, I suppose I shouldn’t expect much more from someone so... ordinary."
Her words hung in the air like a challenge, daring him to respond. Yet, even as she stood there, unwavering and composed, there was an edge of menace beneath her carefully controlled exterior, one that suggested she wouldn't hesitate to outmatch him should he make another move. This wasn't like the courtyard, where her fellow lion and a certain snake she had dwelled upon had come to her saviour, this time, she stood alone, unflinching under the weight of her own conviction. Meiyu evidently did not need anyone to defend her, yet as her expression remained unreadable and her stance firm, her eyes narrowed as they bored into his. There was a pause, a breathless moment where time appeared to pause, the tension between them electric. Whatever he decided to do next, Meiyu was ready — ready to strike, ready to win, and, perhaps most dangerously, ready to revel in it.

AEIOUSA𝖕rat couldn't help but chuckle to himself upon hearing her, Meiyu's attempt to appear intimidating was laughable. From his perspective, her fiery gaze and the slight quiver in her stance only served to make her seem more amusing than threatening. A smug smile played at the corners of his mouth. 'So eager to fight, so quick to anger, yet she's all bark and no bite.' he thought to himself, his thoughts carrying a mocking tone that would've only added to the tension had he spoken them out. He paused, his eyes sweeping over her once again, taking in the way her chin tilted upwards in a futile attempt to match his height.
Prat's smirk widened, untouched by Meiyu's attempts to intimidate him. He knew all too well the tactics of a cornered animal, and her posturing was as predictable as it was amusing. Nothing out of what one would expect from a simpleton.
He took a step forward, closing the distance she had created, his own wand now at the ready. He said, his tone calm and measured. "drawing a wand is only the beginning of a duel. True art is knowing when and how to use it effectively." His eyes remained locked on hers, the malicious glee in his voice unmistakable, matching that of hers. "But I can see why you might not know that, considering the company you keep." , He had no prior idea what kind of company she kept. But if none of her "friends" came to find her yet, he wasn't sure they were the right fit either way, Not that it was any of his concern.
He leaned in slightly, his gaze sharp and focused "you believe in the chivalry of dueling?" he commented, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "charming, considering you resorted to fisticuffs like a common street rat." He chuckled under his breath, eyes gleaming with a mix of amusement and contempt. He took another step closer, his wand still hovering at his side, the tip flicking slightly as he spoke. "All that fire and passion, but so little finesse. It's no wonder i found you here in the state i did." He paused for a moment, his gaze raking over her, this wasn't his attempt to stir up more of whatever this involved, but it was too late to take back now.
"But perhaps you're right," he conceded, his voice cold as the lake water that had so recently soaked him. "I shouldn’t expect much more from someone who has nothing beyond cheap shots and childish taunts." With that, he lowered his wand, not a clear invitation to begin, He was bored with her now. This was not entertaining in the least. His posture remained relaxed, yet ready, like a coiled snake waiting to strike at the first sign of vulnerability.
With the afternoon progressing further ahead, Prat had a more clear goal in his mind, Food. One that was far more important than this petty squabble he had found himself in.

"Cheap shots? You couldn't help yourself!" Meiyu exclaimed, the shock evident with her vocal tone, raised to a higher volume in comparison to the usual quiet tone she spoke with. Yet his presence remained a puzzle, he had intruded on her rather peaceful day, which had initially aimed towards reflection. Oddly enough, of all the nonsense he spewed, that had been the one to result in her anger reaching its tipping point. Despite what her family taught her, she would never engage in petty duelling unless there was adequate reasoning for doing so, by this point, it became evident that whoever his parents were, clearly neglected that teaching.
As her she regained some form of composure, which had been minimal at best, Meiyu tilted her head at a slight angle, her gaze fixated on his eyes yet her expression remained blank throughout the exchange. Her mind pondered on why he came to her, treated her like a personal diary, then used his wand on her, surely by this point she had made it clear she was not interested in him. The snake did not come to her rescue like his housemate in the courtyard, nor did he gain sympathy points for his unwarranted soliloquy.
"You do realise," she began, her lips curving into a little smirk as his poor chivalry attempt came into consideration, "I am not interested in you." The mere thought caused her to immediately grimace in disgust, her eyes immediately scanning his entire body, ew.
It had to be fraudulent how one snake with the odds against him, managed to charm her, yet the snake stood in front of her, repulsed her. His entire coy demeanour had been off-putting, paired with his odd choice of words in what she prayed to the skies above the pair was not a further attempt in woo-ing her, this boy was just repulsive. His looks, though better complimenting him than some trolls which unfortunately roamed the castle, had not been enough to shift the sudden conclusion she came to. With the introduction of offence, Meiyu slowly stepped back, finally breaking the proximity they had once shared, the cool air bringing her back to her senses once more, briefly basking in the breeze which led to her instinctively sighing.
Meiyu moved to sit once more, returning to her original position, unable to truly relax or reflect with the snake nearby, her brows furrowed in disapproval as she gazed at the few ripples in the lake. "You did not find me in a 'state', I was reflecting and appreciating." She nodded, as though she was adamant to prove her point, albeit it contained a white lie, which naturally did not concern him. The sudden silence which had initially sought after the events which transpired last night, she began to question whether careless whispers about her alleged infatuation began to spread, almost half-heartedly caring about her reputation, what she had built thus far could not crumble down because of a boy who had a god-complex.
Worst of all, she had a low-budget Macbeth reincarnated reading his lines out loud, a form of terror she would not wish, even on the poor crying vixen from the gala.

AEIOUSA𝖕rat's eyes widened in horror at Meiyu's misguided assumption. His stomach couldn't help but churn at the mere thought. "You think I could ever... like you?" His voice was laced with repulsion as he stared at her, trying to scrub the image clean from his mind. "Eww? Narc much?" He scoffed internally. Her words echoed in his mind like nails on a chalkboard.
"Me, ever like her?" He couldn't believe the levels of delusional she had attained. Right in front of him he felt as if Meiyu's features morphed into a grotesque amalgamation of a dying hagslug and a rotting tree trunk, their offspring, Meiyu standing right before him in all their unfortunate glory. The idea was so repugnant to him he had to bite his tongue to keep himself in control. "Pls," he thought with a mental eye roll so wide it could encompass all of cosmos, "you look like you'd be the last creature on any sane person's list."
This was his time to make a mental note in order to keep a ten-foot pole handy. Just in case this witch ever tried to get close to him again. The thought of it was horrifying enough to make his skin crawl. How could she not see that he was so far out of her league, it was leap huge enough to cross over to moon and beyond. Prat's gaze remained cool and unyielding as he awaited her response, his contempt for her audacity however, very apparent in the air around them.
Prat took a very deliberate step back from her. Pure disgust etched on the lad's face. He needed to get away from her before the smell of her desperation seeped into his pores. "Farewell," he muttered as he turned on his heel. "I pray for whoever poor desperate enough chap you find, willing to tolerate your... charm." He had standards, and she was the embodiment of what lacking every single one of them would look like.
Before Prat could even fathom the depth of Meiyu's delusion and safely walk away, she lunged at him, ferocious enough to catch him off guard. Her hands grabbed a hold of his shirt, the fabric tightening around him in claw-like grip as her face contorted with rage while she swung at him. The impact from her slap managed to send a sharp pain through his face. "What the Fu-?" Prat thought as his mind raced during their continued struggle. He couldn't believe the sheer audacity of this gryffindor, it was unparalleled as far as stupid creatures went. His cheek now stung with the heat of her hand, and his heart pounded in his chest as adrenaline coursed through his veins. The shock of this uncalled assault turned ambush froze him in his place momentarily. Yet the anger bubbling within him was about to reach a boiling point.
Prat's eyes narrowed as her hand made contact short work of his cheek. The shock was short-lived, immediately replaced by rage in return. Without needing a second thought, his hand flew up to meet her face with a resounding slap. The sound echoed through the empty scenery, almost like a declaration of their mutual disgust. He felt it's impact reverberate through his palm, the sensation oddly satisfying to him. Even amidst the chaos of the scenario he could enjoy that getback. Meiyu looked surprised when the impact of that slap found her face. She stumbled backwards for a short moment.
Yet they both knew she wasn't the kind to be deterred so easily or back away without a fight. With a snarl that seemed to be straight from the very core of her being, she lunged back at him, nails bared and teeth clenched. They met in a whirlwind of flailing limbs and harsh breaths, each trying to gain the upper hand in their impromptu battle.
Prat's thoughts turned into anger and bewilderment as they tumbled down towards the lake, their bodies entangled in a dance of spite and violence. "How dare she?" He thought, as Meiyu's fist connected with his face, all in on focusing to retaliate. His own fist shot out towards her, her face catching his fist with a resounding smack.
Soon they both hit the water with a splash, the coldness jolting them back to reality. "What is wrong with this girl?" He seethed internally. As they resurfaced, sputtering and gasping for air, they realized the presence of a shadow loomeding over them. Through the haze, Prat hadn't realized that they now had an audience or if it was prevent even before. A more harrowing discovery was how this minute spectacle of theirs had not gone unnoticed.
Deep down, panic set in him as he recognized the figure. His expressions a mix of shock and concern as his heart sank into his stomach. He did not wish to be found in the throes of a brawl with someone as despicable as Meiyu. He took a deep breath, sighing as he prepared for the inevitable embarrassment and the very real and potential consequences of their foolish actions.
