Oof! She did succeed in casting, but instead hurt another student... She facepalmed internally and took some steps back. Students were running amock. Some did the same like she did, flipendoing them back. But that just ... moved the problem. Other students approached the newfound couple in the center of the chaos. The one.... with the hard name and the one... if she remembered correctly.. who was the Head of House of Huffelpuff. They seemed to really hit it off. Almost too well...

Nico decided not to engage with any of it anylonger and tried to think..

Everyone! Use the…

OUCH! That... had to hurt. That meant a visit to the Hospital Wing. Raine saw it first, luckily. Nico quickly came over kneeling down, opposite of Raine, to check on Arc, as she occasionally looked up to see if no Discometeor flew their way.

'Oh gosh! Arc! Quickly.. Let me help.' Nico her eyes fell on the wound on the side of his head. 'That must've hit him hard... I-'

She went quiet and stared at a point on the ground. 'If we can't stop them.. by flicking them back.. W-We should...!' She really wasn't sure.. she could end up making this worse. Would it even work?

As Raine looked over Arc, Nico stood infront of them, giving the Gryffindor a chance to leave or to look after the fallen Ravenclaw. Shielding them, she aimed her wand at one of the balls. 'Hope... this will help.'

She nearly whispered and kept her eyes locked on one of the Discoballs. She aimed and said: 'Reparo..'

Purple hair caught her attention as Luna started towards them after witnessing Koko's failed attempts. That wasn't much of a concern to the brunette at this very moment. Illowy wasn't about to take her attention away from Mari; she didn't trust the badger worth a lick, and the snake kept her wand poised and ready in the Puffball's direction. After all, if Mari was free to aim her wand at Koko, Illowy would aim her's at Mari until it was lowered.

The prefect, however, seemed more preoccupied with Koko's attempts to burn down the party then whatever threat Mari might actually be. It was possible that she was completely over Mari in ever sense? Or perhaps she didn't think Mari was capable of presenting any sort of real threat to the snakes. Illowy wouldn't be disillusioned liked that though; Mari could present any level of threat she wanted to, and was dangerous so long as she held a wand in her hand.

It didn't seemed to only be Luna, however, concerning herself over Koko's actions, but another girl as well that Illowy didn't recognize; she must've been from another house. She didn't seem to stick around though aside from offering an attempt to coax everyone to remain calm. Illowy was calm, she was almost always calm. All the same, it wasn't the disco balls anymore that she worried over. As far as she was concerned, Mari was more volatile then the glittering orbs of chaos flying about.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

W-what was this!?! People trying to oppose her? Just how fucked up were their morals if they didn't want to help? Koko brushed the thought away. They probably were just idiots. "Incendio," Koko said, this time hoping that the ball she aimed at would slam into Bloodbath, one of her enemies. It would be wonderful if that happened. It would make the blonde-haired girl's day. "Ha," Koko said to the dark-skinned Hufflepuff. "And you think that you don't know? Idiot," Koko added, scoffing, "I'm trying to make them disintegrate, and it's not working when you interrupt me!"

Koko noticed Illowy raising her wand at Bloodbath, but she kept her wand aimed at the balls. Hm... This Puffball would make a very good flaming Puffball... Koko moved her wand. Ha. If Bloodbath tried to cast a spell at Koko, the other girl would become a burnt marshmallow.

Oh shit.

The girl froze. There was something scary coming towards her... Something absolutely terrifying was coming towards her, something she had hoped she would never see again... Or rather someone... "Miss Choi..." Koko drawled, a smirk resting on her lips even though her eyes had fear in them. God, this girl was terrifying. "I may not be interested in burning the party," Koko said her eyes darting quickly to Mari and then back to Fridge, "But I am interested in burning Miss Haynes. Not that I'll do anything, of course."

Her words were coated with sugar. Best not to anger the scary prefect... "What if we doused the balls?" Koko asked herself. No... That wouldn't work... They needed an insulator... Or maybe something else... Heck, if only Arc hadn't gotten hit... By Illowy... This was why Koko wouldn't use Flipendo on a ball. It wasn't worth it. Water was a conductor of electricity, so water wouldn't work, either. But... If they could somehow immobilise the balls... They could do this.

Koko still didn't have the means possible to immobilise the balls. She didn't know the spells required. "EVERYBODY!!!" the girl screamed. "TRY CASTING 'PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!!'"

She had heard her other cast the spell before, but she herself didn't know how to. She hoped some professor heard her...

Tatiana's eyes grew wide and she watched on, horrified, as the party turned to chaos around her. One minute, students and professors alike were casually mingling and moving along to the music, and the next, the decorative disco balls were wild and flying around the room. Instinctively, she crouched behind the food table she was standing near as one whizzed past her head. This cannot be happening, she thought, paralyzed with fear. In a feeble attempt to hide from the madness, she made the cowardly decision to crawl under the table, hoping the flimsy thing would be enough to protect her.

Other students had, thankfully, acted with a little more courage. Some hadn't hesitated to draw their wands from their pockets and begin casting whatever spells they could think of to find a solution to their disco disaster. The seconds were passing quickly, but they seemed to stretch on for hours, as Tatiana watched with horror in her eyes as one person after another got hit by the metallic flying missiles. One foolishly attempted to hug it, and mere moments later, so did another! Who could be that stupid?! she shook her head in disappointment. She had been too distracted by the irrationality of it all, that she'd failed to notice the electrocuted boy lying limp on the ground. Oh dear!

Her hands shot up to cover her mouth. Why do you have to be such a wimp! she scolded herself. She patted her pocket and felt the distinct shape of her wand beneath the fabric of her pants. She managed to pull it halfway out before she was mentally berating herself again. All of the studying she'd done that year and was somehow still incapable of performing a successful cast. Now, in addition to feeling and looking like a complete wimp, she was also utterly useless.

It took her a minute to notice, but somehow, the sparkly projectiles seemed to be completely avoiding the area of the room she'd been hiding in. Huh? Poking her head out from under the tablecloth, she saw Professor Jensen casting a shield charm around the food tables. Thank Godric! She was overwhelmed with relief, at least now she could come out of hiding. Shamefully crawling on her knees out from under the table, she took a second to look around and fully take in the situation. There were at least two students incapacitated on the floor and two professors in the center of the room were... dancing? What in Godric's name? It seemed hardly appropriate at a time like this. Students were in a frenzy around them, surely they knew what was happening?!

Knowing she could be of little help defensively, Tatiana decided to take on a much lesser role- she could at least help in dragging the immobilized bodies free from the war zone. Turning back to the disco balls most recent victims, she noticed another girl was already kneeling by their sides asking for help to bring them to the hospital wing. One deep breath, and Tatiana braved her way out of the shielded area and hastily over to her. Keeping her knees bent and low to the ground, she dodged her way across the room until she was kneeling beside her. "Can I help?"

Her entrancing voice came as a request. A dance to celebrate their reconciliation. Their hands intertwined, he led her to the dancefloor. Both their outfits glittering in the thousands of glass reflections hit by the ever turning orbs of disco enchantment. He'd pass several students trying to interrupt their moment. Finally he could see her and they had to ruin it. An annoyed look an his face would emerg before he'd smile and say: "Fear not everyone. Love will cure all ailment. Just find yourself a dancepartner. Get some moves going" For the rest, he chose to ignore them when they tried to get between him and his lover.

With that he started making his way further down the middle of the dancefloor. Swaying his hips to the music as extended arms swung through the air. He grabbed Olphie's hand and twisted her around til she rolled straight into his arms. Only to gently push her back out and both end up in the most exquisite dancing pose. They were at the top of their game. The world seemed to shine and revolve around the love of his life. The one that mattered above all. All of the other people at the party seemed to be either doing weird dances on their own or somehow had more interest to each other. Could they not see the star of the evening was dancing. And she was dancing with him. With a super extra twist on his heels and dual extended finger guns he caught Olphie's attention once more. This time opting to throw an invisible rope and pulling her in. "you're not escaping now" He'd smirk.

If you're reading this... You're awesome.

If there was ever a time that she needed to regret her life decisions, this was it. Standing in a room with screaming children that were surprisingly more effective than two 'adults' paid to actually supervise them, Hjørdis felt a world of regret. Her former jobs had a very much 'everyone out for themselves' motto and she liked that. At Hogwarts, team work was far more essential. Especially when it was you versus the world. You needed friends and allies. Yet, people always caused more harm than good. People flipendo-ed the balls into each other, more people got hurt, someone attacked another student directly.

Hjørdis gently tilted the head of the electrocuted boy, attempting to free his airway. She turned his head to help any of the foam that he was choking up to come out of his mouth, instead of going back in. Whilst she may not have a magic spell ready to cure electrocution, she knew what muggles called the 'recovery' position. It was not the best thing but it would have to do for now. At least he was breathing, she wanted to keep it that way. Above her, a girl [SASKIA] explained her thoughts on the situation. Hjørdis had no idea what her name was but whoever she was, she was smart and far more capable than she perhaps realised. The girl mentioned the nurse. He was a definite possibility but he was also situated so far away from the Great Hall and these students needed help now. Annoyingly enough, Caradoc was their best choice of a healer. The girl realised this too, it seemed.

"He's breathing, for now," She replied, after putting him into the recovery position, "Make sure they stay that way. If they stop, you see blood or they look like they are choking, fix it or scream." Hjørdis instructed the girl. There was only one of her and far too many students to check by herself. As much as she hated to ask, the students needed to step up and help. Screaming would alert her that the girl needed attention, that would always help. She just really hoped this girl would be far smarter than some of the other students, who seemed to be keen on hugging the disco balls as though that would work, "Be careful." She simply stated as she watched her run away.

She looked up at the food table, frowning a little. The shield was still up but she would have to cast another... She sighed and cast another protection barrier, this time around the injured boy who was now going to be alone. Hjørdis kept the shields small enough to protect people nearby but also be easy to hold them both whilst moving around. At the very least, it would stop him from getting hurt by anyone else's misfired spell or another disco ball. It was not ideal but it would have to do for now.

ith that, she moved to the next nearest injured student, Arc. "Is he breathing or bleeding?" She asked the girl [RAINE] over him. She was frantic, cradling him like he was her child. It was awful to see but Hjørdis did not have time to comfort her. She crouched down, to examine the back of his head where it looked like he had been hit. He appeared to be breathing, which was certainly a relief. The Professor muttered another spell under her breathe as she stared intently at him. If there was any visible injuries or blood, they'd have started to clean up. He would not wake up straight away but the spell would help stop him from bleeding out, if there was any wounds. This girl appeared to either be his girlfriend or a close friend based on the way she cradled him, "Levitate and use that shielded area. Got it?" She instructed her, hoping that she could at least drag his body to that part, even if she could not get him to the wing. The wing was ideal, of course. If the student aimed for the wing, she could walk within the shielded areas to protect herself and him. The levitation spell worked wonders in times like this. Everything became easier to carry when some of the weight was no longer on you.

She did not have time to wait for a reply. There were a few electrocuted children that needed her assistance. The Head of Slytherin stopped abruptly. No... They needed Caradoc's assistance. He was far more equipped than she was in dealing with injuries. He spoke about his experience at St. Mungos, his passion for healing and his interest in muggle medicine... It had not even been twenty four hours since he told her all of that. Did all of that change in one day? Did he really just forget about all of the children, all of the injuries? Yesterday, just yesterday, he put the students before himself. She had actually, for a brief moment, respected him. She had thought he was a good professor - one far kinder and better at dealing with children than she was. Hjørdis was surely not that bad at judging a character... She turned in her tracks. He needed to help. It was far easier to smack him into helping than to try and get a nurse down here - or worse, all of the students up there. Right?

The Slytherin found herself trying to bite back her anger as she approached the two professors, now surrounded by a bunch of screaming students. She really did not fancy questioning their authority in front of everyone but boy, oh boy, was she tempted to slap some sense into them both. From what it looked like, they were so busy chatting to each other, staring into each other's eyes and giggling like little school girls on a playground that they did not care about any of the screams around them.

Her expression was blank. But her eyes burned bright. There was a fire raging in her eyes as she witnessed the Head of Hufflepuff ignore all of the children. The desire to deck him was strong. There was something drastically wrong. This was so unlike him. He did not even bother to acknowledge the chaos, he did not care. This was... This wasn't him. The Flying Professor was no better. Hjørdis looked at her face and it was almost like she was helplessly in love. The whole thing was bizarre. She did know how capable Bercegeay was or was not but... surely no one would hire someone this oblivious to danger in a school full of danger, right?

A few days ago, she sat in that woman's office. There was no mention of Caradoc then but there was a giant portrait of one Barnaby Ryker. If this was Ryker, Hjørdis would have understood it a bit better as some sort of weird obsessive fangirling moment. But this... This seemed almost random. Heck, she spent hours talking to Caradoc just yesterday and he never once mentioned Bercegeay... He spoke about his ex-wife, his daughter, his life but not this woman that he was so madly in love with apparently.

Were they really intending on dancing whilst chaos ensued around them?

No. This was... not right. The students had tried to threaten the couple and it did not work. Hjørdis had no choice but to step in. There too many children, she needed them to do something useful. "They won't listen..." Her voice was barely above a whisper as her suspicions started to seem more than likely. It suddenly became firm as she turned to the students, "I need one of you to run like hell and get me two love potion antidotes from Price. Now." She instructed the students [LAMIK & SASKIA & ANYONE ELSE NEARBY?] near her. Yes. Two potions. Not one. For in this very moment, Hjørdis could only assume both were affected by a love potion. They were both ridiculously helpless and weirdly obsessed with each other... They both had to be affected... Right?

The dungeons was only one floor down. It was far easier to get someone down there to grab potions. She wanted to do it herself, but running out of the room would mean her shields would fall. At least if she was here, she could keep them up and heal.

Her eyes would fall onto the bloody sleeve of Lamik's robes, "Arm," She would reach out for his arm. If he allowed her to, she would quickly roll up his sleeve to observe his wound. "Episkey," She cast for what felt like the millionth time already today. This would immediately start to heal the papercut wound he had on his arm. If he did not give her his arm, then of course, it would remain unhealed.

If he was being honest, Lamk didn't feel so good. It probably had to do with the slight blood loss that came as a result of a giant cut stretching across his arm, the one that was also resulting in searing pain that he felt course through half of his body. The only reason Lamik was still standing instead of screaming on the floor was because of the adrenaline coursing through his veins- that and the fact that people needed help, and he needed to give that help to them. Though he was going to chase after the Professors, Lamik felt someone grabbing his arm. He didn't resist, in fact, he let it happen despite the fresh wave of pain that it sent through him. He only turned around to face whoever was holding on to him when he started feeling his arm get very hot. It was Professor Hjordis, and it seemed that she had cast some sort of healing spell on him. "Thank you." He said weakly. "What did you say that you needed? Two love potion antidotes?" Lamik squeezed his eyes shut for a few moments, refocusing his vision that had blurred a little bit. "Price... Right. I'll go find him." Though he still felt pretty bad, Lamik sprinted as fast as he could towards the exit of the hall.

Books and cleverness were no replacement for courage, something the blonde lacked greatly, but self-preservation was not something she would ever miss in her youth. Avoiding a ball, knocking one back, chaos was through the great hall the likes she had never experienced before. It was a scene she didn't have the imagination or rather, she had never planned to cause so much trouble in her life. She had wanted to gain knowledge, to learn spells, but burning things and attacking semi-sentient balls had never been things to cross her mind. Perhaps she had been misusing her time in the castle.

Her question never got an answer from the fearsome prefect of Ravenclaw, and he quidditch teammate. Things were crazy, and he was helping as any other. Crouched behind a flipped table she blinked and thought. Many spells might have helped, but never having tried them she had a doubt they would do good in such a setting and then she remembered her History of Magic homework. Risking a few glances she looked up and as a ball came like a bludger she pointed her wand and hoped that it would work.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" she cried at it. Though it made things float, it didn't allow them to move, just as it had failed for its inventor that had thought he could fly with it as opposed to simply remain stagnant up in the air. Of course, unlike him, the balls couldn't undress themselves for a plunging bout of embarrassment.

Her eyes were lit with a fire only true love could have ignited, heart fluttering as though she were a first year once more, lips locked with the third year whom she had conquered. She squeezed his firm hand as he led her to the dancefloor, confirming that this was everything she had wanted and more. The only thing that could make the night better was a kiss to seal the deal, but she remembered, he wanted to take things slow, and though his actions said otherwise, she needed to respect his feelings. They weren't going to work as a couple if she couldn't respect him and his boundaries.

And then. One by one, the critics trickled over as if it was her first Quidditch match once more, dampening the romance with a deluge of complaints. Olphie grimaced as the first irritating little first year fly [Raine] came over to demand that they just tell the parents there was an accident. Her parents would probably be relieved that their child was gone, anyway, what with her interrupting date nights like that. "Great idea, dear," Olphie snapped, "Now run along, go find disco ball to smooch."

The Flying professor had noticed, of course, what the balls were doing, but she did not care if the comment came off threatening. All she cared about was Caradoc, and finally getting that kiss she had always wan-- Another one. This boy, at least, had potential; Olphie lifted her head away from Caradoc once more as she caught her attention with the word "hero."

A few words later, however, and the boy - Mr. Girlcabinet, was it? - became a cockroach she wished to squash. Olphie attempted to lead Caradoc away from the mess further as she didn't even grace the boy with a verbal response, just a simple eye roll. She winked at her love, as if to say to him, children..., because that's all that they were. Children. Foolish. They clearly had not experienced the tantalizing temptations of a true love's kiss, the spell that holding the strong hand of a specimen like Caradoc Browne could put on an impressionable young girl like Olphie Bercegeay. One day, (though that day should have been yesterday) when they realized how romance escalated all of your senses to a new level, they would certainly seek out the wise Professor Bercegeay and apologize for their dramatic reactions. At the very least, they would not be invited to Olphie and Caradoc Browne's wedding until they apologized, and they would definitely regret that when the Hogwarts Headliner wrote a twenty-page feature on how fabulous it was.

She and Caradoc would not have made it very far, for yet another child interrupted their tryst to give some sort of ridiculous soliloquy. Was she trying to prove to Olphie that she knew her Shakespeare? It sounded Japanese to her; she was probably trying to do that one scene from Rome-yo and Jellylegs or something. It was a pretty shitty retelling, that was for certain.

Attempting to ignore the third pest (a seagull, this one, for she had a big mouth) once more, Olphie for the first time physically turned her body away from the girl before she was finished. She was done, this was it, she needed to kiss Caradoc once and for all so that they could begin dancing or move to a more intimate setting. Maybe if they smooched the students would understand that their petty problems were not as serious as the sealing of Olphie and Caradoc as the future Mr. and Mrs. Browne.

But then, in what could only be considered a true, miraculous blessing to anyone and everyone who wasn't named Olphie Camille Bercegeay, Salsa "Beeflet" Nickelback said the only words that could get Olphie out of her spell: her job.

The word sent her into a spiral of emotions, fully internalized so as to not scare Caradoc, as she was still trying to take things slow. Hadn't she come here for the children, to mold useless imbeciles into future Quidditch stars? Hadn't she come to teach the books she had studied since she was a small first year, much like these children? Hadn't she come to make up for all the times she had disappointed her siblings? Marguerite, Fae, Arnoux, Pascale, Henry, Eponine, Elinor, Scott, Eloise...how she missed them. For all she knew, Victor and Thérèse had added more siblings to the mix. Those two were like rabbits.

Fighting back tears, her first betrayal of emotion, Olphie steadied her gaze on Caradoc's crystal blue eyes as her lip quivered, partly of sadness, partly of desire to just be soothed by its mate. But no. As tempting as that rugged body was, they would have to take things slow once more and pause. She had a job to do.

Unsurprisingly, Caradoc had other ideas, and while she wished she could agree, she motioned to place her hand on his chest - mm, that bicep -- as a means to satiate her desires for now. "How I wish I could let you hold me forever, and I hope you will later," she murmured morosely, "but for now, we need to help, love. Come."

A crook of the finger, a lick of the lips, how she wished she could have that bicep now, and Olphie made her way through the crowds to find the only other adult in the room, Hardass Jameson. Though her last name resembled whiskey, her first name was more fitting: she did not believe in fun tonight, it seemed. Alas, she would know what to do, and Olphie needed her for the dual purpose of knowledge and sucking up to a superior.

The duo, if Caradoc was still behind her, would enter Normal's territory right after she cast the healing spell. The Slytherin Head of House seemed to understand the situation with her always attractive intelligence; it would be easier to seek a gauge of the situation from her, rather than her second plan, which was to summon all the brooms from her office and attempt to bludgeon these disco balls and shatter them with brute force. She wasn't really wearing appropriate Quidditch gear for that plan to make much sense. So instead, Olphie tapped the silver-haired beauty and asked loudly, "How can we help?"
First Year Graduation Party PV 1st Yr Finished
Most people, even full-grown adults, would crumble under duress and danger. But Hogwarts’ students were not most people. They reacted surprisingly well -even when some made even more mess, sigh- and students had the initiative to do whatever they could to stop the disco balls. And, of course, to help each other.

One @Sylvie Maple ran out from her hiding place to check out on Arc. His temple was bruised and it would inflame and throb like hell, but he was mostly okay albeit unconscious. Her arm was slightly cut when one of the balls grazed her but it was not going to stop the girl. She grabbed a tablecloth and tried trapping a disco ball. She had a sound logic, but the disco balls were not bludgers. They didn’t even slow down and kept going their merry way. It was a good effort, though. @Tatiana Crane, who was was also hiding under a table at first, finally came out and braved her way towards Saskia. She certainly could help in many ways.

With three professors in the room, people might think that they could easily control the situation. One professor could use protective charms to make a safe haven for the students, one healed the injured, and the last one tried fighting off the balls. But apparently, no. Only Professor @Hjørdis Jensen was even trying, while the other two were…doing something else. She was doing fast work on her end. She put the electrocuted students in the recovery position. She healed Arc somewhat. And after that she finally moved towards the two other professors.

Something was…wrong with them. She gave rapid instructions to the students gathering there, before finally healing one more student, @Lamik Fillestar. The boy could feel the blood trickling out of his wound stopped and the gash closing up with a slight wave of pain. It was only patch work, though. And he was not fully healed. He would need to get it truly checked after all things was said and done. It would be -had to be- enough for now. He followed after the professor’s instruction and sprinted out of the Great Hall. Thankfully, no stray disco ball came after him.

Professor @Caradoc Browne was going all out and pulling all the stops to woo the love of his life. His dance move was impeccable and no one would argue about his competence. At dancing. If someone took his temperature, they would realize that he was burning up. With disco fever!

@Saskia Nicholson, though, was on a mission. She might not even realize when Tatiana approached her. The girl marched on through everything and walked unhindered towards the two professors. She once again tried to convince Professor Browne and Bercegeay, just like Raine and Lamik before her, to move their unwilling heart. But unlike her predecessor it seemed to be working! Long live, Saskia! Her speech managed to move the heart of one @Olphie Bercegeay. And the young professor immediately approached Professor Jensen herself-hopefully along with her Professor Browne- and they finally offered their help.

Near them, @Angellica Rowley managed to dodge a ball, knock one, and overall survive the chaos. She was doing well. The pretty girl never did get an answer from his Prefect friend. But she got a good head. And the young Ravenclaw knew how to use it. She got to a conclusion on her own and aimed her wand to one of the balls. Angellica tried the levitation charm and her spell succeeded. Unfortunately, she missed the whizzing disco ball and her charm landed on a table cloth, lifting it up.

The young Slytherin Prefect, @Luna Choi, shrugged off her failureehem, accident, like nothing happened and walked it off. She was totally fine, like totally. It was not embarrassing or anything. She walked towards @Mari Haynes and Elena Jangleton who were confronting Koko Riddle to make sure she stopped her reckless attempt at burning the party. @Illowy Magnard, on the other hand, was more concerned on protecting her family, which in this scenario was Koko. According to her, Mari was even more volatile than the orbs flying around. And she kept her wand aimed at her. One wrong move and Mari would be sorry.

With Mari distracted by Illowy and Luna fashionably late, @Koko Riddle had a chance to cast one more time. And this time she made it. A burning, intense red light flew out from the tip of her wand towards one of the low flying disco balls and hit it squarely in the middle. The spell was far from disintegrating it, though. It did slow down the ball somewhat. But it also turned the ball into a fiery monster, with the temper to boot. It would break down faster than a normal ball, but it was also more dangerous and intentionally hostile.

The ball flew towards Mari Haynes. And even though in its anger the flaming ball of doom missed her, upon contact with the ground it exploded right next to the young Hufflepuff. Her clothes would be burnt and her skin would at least have a first degree burn injury. It was painful. Koko yelled something after that, but Mari wouldn’t be listening anymore. Would the professors hear her?

After @Arc Perscivious got pummelled in the head by a flying disco ball, @Raine Sage quickly ran straight towards him. Tossing her punch and half-eaten cupcake she pushed through the throng of people, evaded balls, and finally found herself next to him. The boy could hear her voice in the faint distance but he was going in and out of consciousness. Raine gently turned him over and called his name over and over. She seemed so…far away. And every attempt he tried to wake up was met with this dull throbbing pain. And it was just too much to bear. He had to push through, though.

There was something he needed to tell. What was it? He couldn’t be sure. It was hard enough to stay focus on one single thought, let alone to remember something. She whispered something to him, but he was not really listening. Something about shoulders and head. What? Was she talking about a hair product? But her voice was certainly soothing. He could just sleep…

The other Slytherin Prefect, @Nico Shymane, came along after hurting a couple students with her knockbacked disco ball. She eyed Arc’s wound before standing in front of the two of them. Hopefully, she would give the time for Raine to look over the young Ravenclaw while solving the way to stop the rogue balls. She aimed her wand to one of the disco balls before casting the mending charm. The ball was not rogue because it was broken, though. As such, the spell did not make the ball stop. If anything, the spell repaired the scratched metallic exterior and the broken gears inside the ball. The ball that would have stopped on its own if left alone for fifteen more minutes was now good as new again and could go on for almost an hour more. Drats!

@Elena Jangleton were trying to defuse the situation between Mari, Koko, and Illowy, but she happily gave the task to Luna when she came by. The young Gryffindor ran from the scene, ducking through disco balls while thinking of a solution. She ran through her options before finally settling on the dancing feet spell. Her spell flew away from the tip of her wand. And her aim landed true. It was a pretty reckless spell to use if she had more time to think about it. But she didn’t have the time. And recklessness and bravery went right hand-in-hand.

Thankfully, it was the right spell to use.

See, the disco balls adored freedom and liked festivity. But most importantly, they loved to dance. Dancing made them forgot all their trouble. It was their way to wash away the pain. One might argue that the dancing feet spell would only work with someone or something with legs or well, feet. But another one could also argue that the whole disco ball or at least the lower part of it was its feet. Who are you to say it was not?

And so, Tarantallegra made the ball that was hit did the Tarantella dance. And dancing made it happy. It forgot all the anger that was bundling up inside its spherical body. Unfortunately, the spell was not powerful enough. It only affected the ball that was hit and one other that was closest to it. The other balls were starting to think about dancing, but they were still making mayhem.

Within his blurry consciousness, Arc finally managed to eke out some words towards whoever it was that was close to him. "Make...'em...dance." Hopefully, it was not Raine. It sounded like her. But hey, a boy could dream, right? He did not want her to get hurt.
Congratulations, @Elena Jangleton!!! You manage to figure out and be the first to use the right spell to stop the rogue disco balls! You have earned the right to get one gift. And I would send you the list of what you may get in the next 24 hours. It's just a little something to commemorate your success. I sincerely hope everyone enjoy the mini-adventure -I know I did- and would still help pacify all the rogue disco balls (and you know, help the injured people and stuff). Hey, maybe, you can even finally dance when everything is settled. Who knows?

See you in the next mod!
