[Font= Allegra]H[/Font]e was tapping his foot against the ground, showing his impatience with his body language, whilst usually he would be humming a tune at the same time and tapping the rhythm down instead. Remy was no stranger to being always late. He was quite clumsy when it came to time or keeping an eye on it. If you were lucky, he'd maybe even remember that you've arranged a meeting with him.

However, this time, he was early. It had been a while since he had seen Eri Windstone. The impression that he had gotten from here was that she was an oddity. Stubborn but meek at the same time. She radiated this energy that screamed 'there's strength in silence'. When he heard her voice, he sighed deeply and unraveled his arms that had been sitting on his chest, crossed tightly. "Gee, finall-, whoa!" Remy had to rub his eyes a few times. What had happened to the Eri Windstone he knew? Had she drunken polyjuice potion and turned into someone else? No, her voice was still the somewhat same and he recognized the satchel.

His eyes slowly traveled up and down and checked her out from head to toe. She had really changed, except for one thing. "Your shoelaces!" he yelped, diving as if he was some kind of a volleyball player to her feet. He would not carry her into the hospital wing again when she would trip and sprain her ankle. He looped her laces and tied them with the bunny-ear method and then sprung back up, standing on his feet and looking quite unimpressed. "It's really nice to see...you? Is it really Eri Windstone I'm looking at? No...she's the only one who would run around in the corridors with her laces untied," he grinned, lightly bumping the older girl's shoulder as a way to say hello. He had missed her, even if he wouldn't say it aloud.

[Font= Allegra]H[/Font]e could not stop staring with his brows furrowed, clearly shocked to see what she had done with herself. It wasn't a negative change, not at all. Still, it was a change, and a major one on top of that, so he struggled to take his eyes that had been glued on her so far out and look at something else. When she asked for him to race her somewhere again, he huffed loudly. Usually, he was one of the most spontaneous, competitive and reckless boys around these corridors. Around her though, he felt like an older brother or a mum that was bound to take care of his little youngin'.

Obviously, she was older than he was. And, although debatably, much more clever. She had predicted his response spot on, he would not agree to make the same mistake again. "Am not goin' to do that. You're just going to end up in the hospital wing at the end of the day again. Are you trying to egg me on?" he asked as he struggled to keep the serious face. He did give in to the fit of giggles that followed. Despite the pain that she had been moaning about the whole day when she sprained her ankle, Remy did view it as one fun memory to reminisce about when he was older.

She did look drastically different and when Eri asked him about his opinion on how big this difference was he did not hesitate to tell her exactly how it was. "You totes look like whole 'nother person, but that's not a bad thing necessarily, is it?" he shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. Remy wasn't much help when it came to reassuring someone else, even if he was good at doing the exact opposite of that. He didn't think anything poor about her change, her looks were the last thing his mind was on.

[Font= Allegra]H[/Font]e shook his head up and down furiously, agreeing and nodding as if his life depended on it. As sure as he lived, he would not recreate that fiasco once again! Eri was the pinnacle of 'smart' in his mind. To see her living like this was one monumental surprise for sure!

"No laughing matter at all, you are quite spot on when it comes to that. Yes yes,"he muttered words of agreement, pacing with his hands behind his back like some kind of an elderly, experienced and wise man. The poor boy had completely missed that glimmer of mischief in the corner of her eyes, twinkling as obvious as ever. He thought that he could finally let his guard down a bit, sliding his arms back to his sides and letting out an elated sigh that could only signify relaxation. He was running a bit low on ideas that could appease to the girl. As much as he liked to think of her as his equal, or even see himself as a superior to the ditz-of-a-girl, he would often be intimidated by their age difference. She was arguably the older and smarter one. He'd look up to her and seek advice from her first.

"Oh, hum, anywhere but the hospital wing," he joked, throwing his arms in the air as if he was going to be arrested now. This castle was vast but he still felt like it was limited. All these places he was not allowed to go but so desperately wanted to! "I, for one, will absolutely not go to the library either!" he pressed his hand on his chest, probably giving the girl ideas. She had the tendency to do the exact opposite than what was said, didn't she? He was not a studious boy, just the presence of books would often send shivers down his spine.

[Font= Allegra]O[/Font]h, was this some kind of a defeat from Eri's side? Had he walked as the victorious side from this battle? Had he managed to finally get beat some sense into the dense girl's brains? Heaven! Gloria! Hallelujah! He didn't have to torment himself with the idea of having to carry her into that gross place ominously named 'The Hospital Wing'. Remy had grown to associate that name with some spooky music, lightning in the background and screams of poor poor patients as the evil nurse would nurse them back to health!

Yes. He might have been a little afraid of that place due to his own exaggeration.

"Well, I dare you to try and drag me! I am a strong, heavy boy!" he tapped his chest a few times with his palm, nose turned up high. As if. Remy Alto was as lanky as a boy could get. She could have easily just picked him up all princess-style and carry him around like a little baby. Of course, he wouldn't enjoy it, but it was still a possibility. "What is it with Eri Windstone and her inexplicable thirst for twisting her ankles and falling on the ground? I thought that if someone wouldn't ever run again, it'd be you," Remy blinked a few times, shaking his head as his face turned into a frown. It took two for a race, and he was not participating!
