Forgotten Magic

Salleen is a 10 year old girl in a world gone wrong. The magic, people have had since the beginning of time has been discovered by the wrong people. Those people will do anything to rule. One of them in particular. Her mother and father try to protect her and her little sister Silva from the world but her 8 year old sister doesn't want to be protected. Their home seems safe to her and even Salleen's parents relax a little but the monsters come. The family tries to run but Silva is stubborn. She won't leave. The monsters take pity on Salleen and her sister, but their parents not so much. They call them the monsters because it hurts to think about the real people under there. Their minds are their own. But their ruler is smart. Fear rules them. Fear of themselves, fear of the Kyvernítis, fear of their enemies. Fear of the world. The Kyvernítis, or Kyernit is unlocking peoples potential. And it is dangerous. As magic goes on the rampage, Salleen and Silva find refuge with another lost child. But this one is the child of a monster. The kids travel farther and farther from home to get away from the monsters, but as Silva starts unlocking it gets harder and harder for them to run. Making friends and enemies along the way they finally make their last stand and a tragic death leads the way for their survival.

It is 2034 and everyone has magic. Everyone can use this magic once they start truly believing in it. A group of people called aftoí me dýnami, which translates to the ones with power, have taken over Europe and are forcing peoples powers to unlock. They use these people as an army to take over the world. Europe is completely under their control and they're beginning to creep into Africa and Canada. China and America are working together to defeat them, but neither of them have many people who've unlocked. Some of the other countries are making deals with them. Salleen and her family are from Curzon Village, Newfoundland. Theirs was one of the early towns invaded in Canada. Throughout the story the aftoí me dýnami make it to about 600 miles into Africa. In Canada, with American help they manage to keep the aftoí me dýnami across the Gulf of St. Lawrence. On Bonne Bay the Town of Woody Point has a total population of 272 people. Woody Point is divided into Curzon Village, Woody Point, and Winterhouse Brook. The town they end up in is Blanc-Sablon. Blanc-Sablon has a population of 1,237. On their journey they stop in St. Paul's, Cowhead, Portland Creek, Daniel's Harbor, Hawke's Bay, and Anchor Point.
