Branching Out Friendships
A good laugh was in the works. Her mouth opened and the rumble of laughter blurted out of her mouth. It seemed that this new friend of hers was just as witty and fun as she was. She was truly loving her company-- even if it their friendship was met and growing in a tree. Luckily it was someone she liked because if it wasn't, then it would be a very long early evening.
"I'm from London. Nothing special," she said, answering the first of maybe many questions from Alexx. Now was her turn to come up with a question. It has to be a good one, she thought. Bloom wanted to get to know Alexx just as much as she can feel Alexx wanted to get to know her.
"What is your favorite food?" she asked, wondering if they had the same taste buds.
Bloom looked down to the ground from where they were. It was a long way down. How could I have been so dumb to chase a lizard? she thought to herself, wondering how long they would be up here. Bloom felt guilt for getting Alexx stuck up in the tree with her. This was definitely not a normal encountering with anyone.
"How long do you think it would take before someone finds us?" she asked, her eyes still luring below them. Bloom was keeping her eyes open for anyone to pass by. She did not care if they were Prefect, professor or student. They needed help.

Branching Out Friendships
Nodding, Alexx soaked up the answer. "London. Nice. I'm from France, but I think that is obvious." She said. Alexx hadn't been to London much. A few times, but not very many. But it appeared that London was a popular place to be from, as she met many people who were from London. At least, she met them here at Hogwarts.
Smiling at Bloom, she laughed. "That was two questions! Hm... Beef bourguignon! I think. Or Chocolate soufflé." Alexx was very attached to French foods. Chocolate soufflé was, perhaps, her favorite dessert in the world. The only thing she didn't always like was the crisp to the crust. It was a little bit gross if not done properly. But beef bourguignon! That was delicious!
She thought a bit about Bloom's other question. "Don't shoot the messenger but... The grounds are my patrol areas. Our best bet is a Professor, and I am almost positive that Professor Griffith is not destined to be our savior." She giggle a little bit. Mostly, she was trying to lighten the mood. Their best bet was to try and get down themselves. Otherwise, there likely wasn't anyone coming. That thought even frightened her just a bit, because she wasn't sure that she would be able to get down herself at this rate.
Biting her lip, she thought of another question, but simultaneously, she was thinking of an escape method. "What's your favorite class?" It was a simple question, but one that would be easy to answer. And perhaps if she could get Bloom rambling about a class, there would be a distraction from the situation at hand, which was turning into a crisis.
