Will walked along the corridors of the train carrying his large suitcase, which he could barely lift. Although 'dragging' on the floor would have been a better description of what was happening to the poor trunk. But Will preferred to think about the case and nothing else.
Ever since he had received his letter for Hogwarts, the little boy had been very excited. Not a day had gone by without him asking his mother questions. He wanted to know all the secrets of the wizarding school, the houses, the history, the classes... His mother patiently answered all his questions with a sweet smile on her lips. Unlike her son, she had no doubts about the house he was about to enter. But the truth was, Will didn't want to go to Hogwarts anymore.
That was it. - he thought. Will had finally said his final goodbyes to his family. He wanted to be strong, especially in front of his sister. After a quick hug to each member of his family, he turned quickly and stepped onto the train without looking back. He wished he could look at them and wave as the train pulled away, but I knew tears would have fallen from his eyes.
At the moment Will was desperately trying to hold them back. He sniffled loudly and tried to look out the window. The train was pulling out of the station, but his family was already far away. The thought made him feel a pinch of pain next to his heart.
He now had two hands on the top of the suitcase, pushing it in front of him. The old brown suitcase his mother had used when she was a student at Hogwarts rubbed loudly against the floor. Will had no idea how he would be able to lift it onto the compartment. He decided that would be another problem. For now, he needed to find a place to sit. After almost a dozen compartments, Will was about to give up. He thought about sitting on the top of the trunk in the corridors and waiting for the train to arrive. But then he would feel like a freak again.
Desperate, the boy tried another compartment. He opened the door and finally there was room in the compartment! In fact, there was only one person sitting on the bench. Relieved to find a place to sit, Will sighed. Will didn't want to seem rude by deciding to sit down without asking permission, so he cleared his voice and asked:
- Hum... Hey there! May I please sit here?
Then he felt he had to justify himself. After all, he was asking a stranger to spend the next few hours with him.
- It's just that all the other seats seem to be full...

Alliasta was looking around. A lot of the kids she already knew some of them and had seen them at school. Last year she was the first year. It was difficult to leave her family. But this time she is second year and it was better. So this time she wouldn't cry. But... She looked at her mother, oh... no, her eyes started to fill with tears. Will was so relieved when the red-haired gril in the compartment finally gave him permission. The thought of spending another 5 minutes walking around the corridors with his heavy suitcase was unbearable. Will was still sad about his recent departure and all he wanted to do was sit in silence and look out the window while his mind wandered to the green lands they were now crossing. But he guessed that wasn't the girl's idea, because as she spoke, she made room for him to sit next to her. Will's cheeks instantly flushed. Sitting next to a girl? For several hours? But now that she had made room for him, it would be impolite to refuse... He was stuck.
She broke the awkward silence that had settled in by asking his name and giving hers: "B... Iris. Uh... Iris, without the B." Will chuckled a little and a sweet smile formed on his lips. The girl had lightened the mood and he wasn't embarrassed anymore. Will opened his mouth to reply but as he did a second girl arrived:
"Oh hey what's up? Is there room for one more in here? Oh and for a ferret? I'm Alliasta! And this is Kaito!"
Will's eyes widened. A ferret? He had never seen one up close before! And suddenly all his curiosity and desire to discover new things came back. If Hogwarts was full of fun things like people with ferrets on their shoulders, then this had to be amazing! Will smiled even more, there was real happiness on his face now and twinkling stars in his eyes.
- Hello Allista! Nice to meet you Kaito! - he said, looking straight at the ferret and holding out his hand, not close enough to frighten the ferret, but close enough for it to smell his hand.
- My name is Will and I'm a first year.
He looked at Iris, trying to ask her if she was okay with the idea of having another travelling companion, and said:
- I think there is enough room for you and your ferret. - he smiled.
With a feeling of relief, he took his first step into the compartment. He wasn't alone anymore and felt stronger with his two new companions. But Will, always a bit scatterbrained and clumsy, forgot that he had his trunk at his feet. The trunk was so heavy that when he tripped over it, it didn't move an inch. Will didn't fall to the ground and only lost his balance for a moment, but enough for his cheeks to turn slightly pink. Then he remembered that he couldn't lift his case alone. He looked at the two girls and asked:
- Hum... Do you think you could help me with my suitcase? I can't lift it to the luggage rack.
He felt a bit stupid asking for two girls as he was supposed to be a boy but he knew he would just fail and being crashed under the heavy trunk.
They finally sat down in the compartment. Will made sure he was in front of Iris, still feeling a bit awkward after her previous offer.

Alliasta sighed, she didn't want to wander around an empty space throughout the train, it would be really boring. And she was relieved to finally find an empty spot because Kaito wanted to sleep. And with Alliasta moving, sleeping was nearly impossible for this little ferret.
"Heh, I'm glad you had room for me and Kaito. He's feeling very sleepy. So calm down a bit, otherwise he'd be jumping on you by now and trying to make you like him."
Alliasta watched as the boy across from her reached out his hand to Kaito. The boy didn't get too close so as not to scare Ferret. But Kaito immediately rubs his head against the boy's hand.
"Well, Kaito loved you, Will. Besides, you don't have to be afraid when touching him, he's a total contact addict. He loves getting attention from everyone!"
Alliasta entered the compartment and smiled at the girl inside. And then she packed her suitcase. It wasn't very heavy anyway. Alliasta could carry the suitcase with ease. Then, just as she was about to sit down, Will asked for help, so she immediately walked over to him and helped the boy.
