Maya has long mousy brown hair thats curly she has bright blue eyes and freckles that lace her skin. Her skin is tanned and she wears no glasses shes 4ft 9 and skinny. Her ears are pierced and she has a birthmark on her left wrist that looks like a love heart. She wears a necklace of her star sign Pisces and has 3 bracelets on her right wrist one has her birthstone and the other 2 are random. She thinks her eyes are her best feature. She dresses sort of bookish girl with. Comfy jumpers and skirts. She occasionally wears skinny jeans when the weather is cold. She always wears boots as she finds them super comfy.

Maya is your typical quiet girl. She spends most of her time studying her classes and learning more. She’s funny and extroverted when it comes to her friends but is scared to meet people and make more friends. She is a huge romantic who enjoys reading and writing. Her dream is to be a herbologist as she loves plants. She dresses in comfortable attire. She loves animals and finds plants enjoyable company. Maya is brutally honest and determined to strive for her goals it’s been burned into her since she was a child due to her parents having high paying jobs. Being the eldest sibling she was forced into a position authority from a young age. She had little time to have fun as she always looked after her little brothers. She tend to daydream a lot.

Louise Cuthbert was a young woman with brown hair and blue eyes from the highlands who dreamed of life in the city. So fled to Glasgow and became a dental nurse where she met Jason Jones a handsome young rebel with curly brown hair and brown eyes. They fell in love. When Louise found out about Jason’s life as a wizard/auror she was supportive so he married her and made her Louise Jones and over the course of their happy marriage they would have 3 children.
On one spring night in March they were at a hospital in Glasgow. Screams and pants came from a room as she gave birth to a lovely baby girl with blue eyes like an ocean. Her cries and small fingers were a site to behold. They would eventually name her Maya Jones after Louise’s mother who died a few years prior.
As time passed Maya was getting older her hair was long and brown and she had a heavy Scottish accent. She was 4 and her parents already pregnant with another child. Sometimes she was happy other times she was sad she wouldn’t be the only child.
Her parents decide to move to Edinburgh after Louise got a great job offer which gave them more money and with Maya’s potential of being a witch they wanted to support her. They packed up their life in Glasgow and moved. Maya found it hard moving away from her friends, her house, her life but she was assured by her parents that she’d be happier in Edinburgh
Maya went to a public school for her studies in order to learn how to read, write and to make friends. She had a best friend called Ebby Williams who she always ate lunch with at this point Maya was 7 and her brother Timothy named after her paternal Grandfather was 3 and in nursery. Maya and Ebby always spent time together. There was this girl called Lily Muller who bullied them both but the two girls both endured.
When Maya’s parents realised she had magical potential they started to prepare for her future. She always had a fascination for plants but it really began to take fold here when she was 9 years old.
When Maya got her letter for Hogwarts her parents now pregnant with their 3rd child a boy who would soon be called Billy Jones. We’re so ecstatic for her as was her brother Timothy who wanted to hear all about it everyday. She couldn’t shake her feelings as she jumped for joy and danced. For the rest of the week Maya was positively delighted.

Maya’s first experience with magic was when she was 7 and she was at a party with her friends. When her and Ebby got picked on by Lily Muller. Maya felt so angry and upset at the consistent bullying that all the fizzy bottles burst open when Lily walked past soaking her causing her utter humiliation and making everyone laugh.
