"Muggles are fascinating and all weird at the same time.", was all Holly had to say. She didn't mean it in a bad way. More in a curious way.

For Abbey, yeah, those questions might have seemed weird and obvious. But for a pure-blooded witch like Holly, they were not because Holly did not grow up among muggles and did not know much about their world. That's why she thinks that Jane, Abbey's mom, is the most fascinating person she ever met. She wanted to know everything about muggles and that's why she can be a bit too much with questions about them. Abbey was always allowed to call her out. Obviously. She was her best friend. That's a fact.

Anyway. Next question.
"How are Cynthia and Julian? I wasn't able to find them since I saw them at the train station.", she asked, "And how was the boat ride to the castle? Are you happy with your house? Did you see me in the crowd?", That's when the flow of questions started again. Thank god, she realised it before she asked any more questions. So she stopped abruptly with the questioning and apologized. "Sorry, am I talking too much?", she smiled a bit embarrassed about her habit and looked at Abbey a bit nervous.

Abbey hadn’t talked to her siblings yet either since she saw them in the station on their way to Hogwarts. She had seen them though, but not had time to have a long conversation with them yet. She was planning on telling them about her first days soon, but her first days had been really long and she had things happening all the time. All the things that was happening were good things though, like the ceremony, the boat ride, getting to know her house mates a bit and stuff like that. She had also had her first ever breakfast at Hogwarts today!

She knew her siblings were fine though, at least most likely. Maybe Julian had already gotten into some trouble, but if so he was probably even more happy then usual, which was a good thing at least for his friends and siblings.

"I haven’t had time to really talk to them yet, but I bet they’re doing fine." She answered with a smile. "I’m so happy I’m a Hufflepuff! My dad was a Hufflepuff and you know Julian is one too! So I feel like I’m sort of following my family’s Hufflepuff "legacy" I’m glad I got into the same house as my family." Abbey was’s sure if the Hufflepuff legacy thing was the right words to use, but she just hoped Holly got her point. It felt good not to get sorted into a house no one in her family was in.

Abbey didn’t mind all the questions, but she liked answering one at a time. "It’s fine, but just don’t get mad if I don’t answer one of the questions!” She would probably forget to answer some of them when she got asked so many at once…

Alfred had already gotten a Howler from their mother this morning because he had already done something wrong. And she bet her favourite socks on the fact that he'd already done something again today and the Howler for that was already on its way. That madman couldn't bear to do anything stupid in his life. So, yes, Holly is convinced that her brother couldn't last five minutes without figuring out in his head how to do the greatest possible damage in the shortest possible time.

"I get the Legacy thing. My family has kinda the same thing. Just with Slytherin.", she said, "Every member in my family with shared blood or not, was in Slytherin.", was her the explanation, "I do not wanna know how it would have ended for me if I wasn't in Slytherin.", probably her mother would want to have a talk with the talking hat. Holly guessed, that after that talk, it would be better to rename the talking hat to the talking patch if there was still something left when her mother was done. Plus the howler she would get would be so loud, Holly would know how the day after tomorrow would sound like. So, yeah... the legacy should be intact and never broken in that case.

Julian hadn’t gotten a howler yet, but it was probably not a long time until he would. He had already done a lot of pranks and it was no way he wouldn’t get caught soon, Abbey just knew it and she knew that Cynthia did to. Cynthia had been in the room a lot of times when Julian had opened his howlers and she was always mocking him about it when she had the opportunity to.

Abbey was glad Holly understood the legacy thing. For her family it wasn’t such a big deal to follow the Hufflepuff legacy thing, but it still felt great to do so even though she didn’t have anything against being in any of the other houses. If she had ended up in a different house then Hufflepuff, or Gryffindor since her sister was in Gryffindor, the worst thing that could probably happen was that she got made fun of by some random students that didn’t have any better to do then to bully her for the most random thing as family legacy of a family that didn’t care about their house legacy that much.
She felt lucky that she hadn’t felt nervous about getting into "the wrong house" under the sorting ceremony. She knew that a lot of parents wanted their kids too get sorted into the same house as they were in when they went to Hogwarts themselves.

Holly and Abbey were still talking about everything under the sun. There was evil in the air.

Al was searching for Julian. He wanted to ask him for advice on how to avoid getting caught easily with a prank. Not that it would help. His mother has a gut feeling for finding out if he did something. But at least his professors wouldn't take him any more points for that. His Slytherin members would kill him. Well... His sister would most likely kill him first. If the Howler of his mother wasn't faster. Before anyone else had the chance to do so.

Anyway.
But then he saw his dear sister and on his face grew a devilish grin. Oh boy. Glitterbomb.
Quiet as a mouse and sly as a fox, he sneaks behind the girls. places the thing behind his sister. Little magic here. A run for it there. And... BOOM!!!

"AAAAAAH!", screamed Holly.
Abbey was lucky, she got almost nothing on her. But poor Holly. Purple and green glitter all over her.
Alfred laughed at his sister. Holly yelled angrily and very frustrated, trying to rub the glitter off her uniform, "ALFRED! No fair! Do you know how difficult it is to get rid of glitter?!" How does she explain this to a teacher? Or worse. Her mother.

Abbey didn’t notice Al sneaking up on them either. She was to busy talking to Holly and enjoying their time together. Lucky for her she got barely no glitter on her when the glitter bomb exploded, but she still got scared by the loud "BOOM!" sound that came out of nowhere from behind where they were sitting. Holly’s sudden scream also scared Abbey a bit. A lot happened at once and she was not prepared at all. She quickly stood up and turned to look at Al who stood there laughing. She had some glitter on her robes, but couldn’t complain noticing how much glitter Holly had on her clothes in comparison.

Abbey stood there not sure what to do as she listened to Holly yell at her brother and Alfred continuing to laugh. She didn’t want to yell at Al like Holly did, but she was for sure mad at him. She also felt bad for Holly. Dinner in the great hall was just around the corner and the amount of glitter on Holly’s clothes would probably take days to get rid of. She would help of course, if it was needed and wanted, but she knew it wouldn’t make it any easier to get rid off by being one more.

Perhaps there was a spell to get rid of glitter? If it was then it wasn’t something Abbey had ever heard anything about unfortunately.

Sadly Holly also didn't know a spell that could help her to get that stupid glitter out of her clothes.
She wanted to cry, but then her brother would laugh even more, and then her mother would find out (god knows how) and scream his ears off, and she didn't want that. So she took a deep breath and tried to collect herself.

She could still rip off her brother's head later, but now she had a bigger problem. Her clothes. She didn't have time to take them to the laundry, not before dinner at least. Plus, she was convinced that the house elves there would have a heart attack if they saw her uniform. Or at the latest, when they realize how hard it is to get rid of glitter. So she had to do most of it herself. Great...

Alfred was already out of the woods, which would have repercussions. But well, later.

Now, Holly turned to Abbey and said, "Dinner's about to start, so I'd better go and change." She wouldn't be caught dead so full of glitter in the Great Hall. How embarrassing would that be? "Do you have time tomorrow? Same time?", she asked, "We could meet in the lavatory on the fifth floor. You don't have to help, but at least I'd have some company, while I try and wash out that glitter.", plus they could forge a revenge plan, of course, she wouldn't go as far as her brother, but she wanted to do something to get back at him. Something small so that he can get some of his own medicine. But they can talk about that while Holly is washing that glitter out.

Abbey would gladly help her best friend out at any time. She couldn’t imagine just letting Holly sit alone and trying to get of all that glitter off her robes all alone. Abbey would help and she didn’t have any big or important plans tomorrow other than going to the library to sketch a bit. She had planned sketching in the library to be a time for herself when she could just do what she loves and relax before dinner. Those plans were of course not as important as helping Holly, but if it was fine for Holly, then after dinner would be a better time for Abbey to help her. It was probably also a better idea to do it after dinner so that they didn’t have to stress with the time and stuff. It would take some time getting all that glitter off Holly’s robes as long as Holly didn’t have any secret cleaning skills.

"I have plenty of time tomorrow, but is it fine if we do it after dinner instead of before? We would have more time and I sort of planned to be in the library a bit before dinner tomorrow." She hoped Holly had time then because she really wanted to help her, but she also didn’t want to cancel her plan.

OOC: I have a RP that takes place before dinner on the 3rd of September so Abbey can’t be both places at once.

"Then it's settled. I'll see you tomorrow after dinner, whenever you are done eating, in the lavatory on the fifth floor.", summarized Holly. For her, it didn't make much difference whether she washed her clothes before or after dinner, as long as they were clean enough to leave them to the house elves without fearing for them to panic. She's just glad not to be alone in the lavatory with her glittery clothes and herself trying to make them less glittery. Then she would just waste the time before dinner doing homework and god knows what else. Maybe trying to figure out how Abbey's family got the chocolate creme out of their clothes, from her brother's prank last year.

"Then I would say: Until then, Abbey!", she smiled and waved before leaving, hugging would be a very bad idea right now, so she skipped it. Hopefully, Abbey understood.

Anyway, after that she hurried back to her dorm. Still very cautious and hidden so that as few as humanly possible see her this glittery. She probably looked like a disco ball. Only god knows how she finally made it into her room unnoticed. This may have been because of her insidiousness and big talent for sneaking and hiding, but that didn't matter to Holly right now. She just wanted to change her clothes, go eat, take a bath and go to sleep. EXACTLY in that order.

OOC: Have fun on your other RP! If you don't want to post another threat, just owl me instead and I will end the RP and start the new one, since I know you like it better when I start. :) Sound good?
