On a cold, starry night
Charlotte held Fumiko, encouraging her to let it all out. She knew it would feel good to stop trying to restrain all her emotions, to let it flow out calmly or violently, to just be yourself, to just listen to your heart.
It looked like Fumiko wasn't really used to letting her true self transpire in such a vulnerable way, and maybe it didn't feel quite right to her. Charlotte couldn't help but smile gently, remembering the time she had a breakdown similar to this one not to long ago, in the abandoned toilets. She learned to be ashamed of crying like that, but it took practise and even to this day, she preferred crying alone, away from everyone.
'No one can hear you. You can tell me anything. Or you can choose to stay silent, I would understand.'
she said, looking into Fumiko's eyes, her eyelashes still a little wet.
'My mom always told me it wasn't good to cry alone, you drown in your thoughts. Wether it's with someone or even with a cat, it'll help you reach the surface, take a breath of this sweet, wanted air.'
Charlotte smiled at her warmly, reassuring her.
'Why don't we watch the stars again? We have all the time in the world'
she whispered, lying down and putting her hands beneath her head as a pillow.

On a cold, starry night
She took a deep breath, letting Cadunt's words sink into her. She was no end grateful she wasn't pressured to tell Cadunt. She was such an understanding person, Fumiko saw her in a new light that night.
She weakly chuckled at the cat comment. " hahahah...I-" she sniffed and wiped the tears remaining on her face " I don't really like cats " she meekly smiled at Cadunt, " they ignore me too much. I like air though. Air is fun "
She couldn't believe she was still capable of speaking like this when she almost cried a few seconds before.
'Cadunt must really be something ' she wondered for a moment, still trying to figure out how she could make Fumiko be this open about her feelings. Or perhaps her walls were breaking without her realization.
That would be trouble. She would need to think more about this later.
Right now, all she wanted to do was lay her head on the group and continue to stare at the twinkling stars tonight just waiting to be admired. She did exactly that. After a few minutes of silence, without even looking at Cadunt, she said :
" We better plan something like this again ".
That sounded harsh to anyone who might hear them, but she had faith that Cadunt knew that these words were more more genuine than when Fumiko said things nicely.
That souns nice, just two Hufflepuffs with an odd unknown bond that connected them. Fumiko was usually scared for the future but for now, at least this time, at this second, she imagined a nice lovely future with her new friend, Charlotte Cadunt.
