Cass had visited this place before, though under very different circumstances. In fact, they were probably one of the reasons why it needed to be cleaned up now. They felt absolutely no regret at all however. The curtains had been very necessary, and had done their job well. And they didn't even get caught taking them! It had been a wonderful night. No detention was very good in their books, thank you very much. Yet here they were, cleaning up anyway. Oh well, they weren't missing this. They gave a cheeky little wave to the divination teacher, who they didn't even know the name of, as they walked in.
"Your curtains look really nice" they yelled across the room with a lovely, innocent smile. It was true, though they hadn't exactly chosen them for their looks. They hadn't picked the divination curtains for any particular reason actually. Looking around, they spotted two other teachers in the room, probably to prevent anyone else from taking off with anything. They couldn't stop Cass! Although, thinking about it, Cass would probably have to stop Cass now that they were a prefect. They weren't sure who's brilliant idea that was, but their family was very proud and that was enough for them. Still, they weren't going to stop any rule breaking actives themself. They would just have to restrain themself from joining in any mischief they came across and give everyone detentions instead. Which sucked.
Sighing, they headed towards the group of students folding the curtains. Might as well come in a full circle. Funnily enough, their curtain-theft partner was also there folding! And another girl that they knew from classes. They gave them both a wave and settled down on the floor to do some folding. Not stealing. They wouldn't be attempting to smuggle any more curtains out under their robes or anything. Although that was a great idea! They could start a collection! With limited edition curtains from all the classrooms! From all over the world! Though they had no idea where they would put that many curtains. Certainly not their dorm. They had a feeling no one would be very happy with that.
Folding curtains was officially boring. They weren't quite sure why they had volunteered to do this again. Thankfully, it wasn't a job that took hours and hours. Just grab the corners, fling them about a little, try not to get stuck underneath a large piece of fabric much bigger than you, trip over the edge, and land in a heap of curtain.

Aston had never been to the Divination classroom before, it made sense since he was only a second year so he doesn't have that class. He doesn't know if he even wants to do it next year, if he remembers correctly it is an optional class. The idea of being able to see the future seems really unbelievable to Aston, can wizards do that? Wouldn't that be a big thing to be able to see the future and hopefully prevent bad things from happening? Will he even be able to do it?
Pushing those thoughts to the back of his head, Aston started looking around for work to do, he is here to help with cleaning after all. There were plenty of people here already, including a few familiar faces, Prat and Cass were folding the curtains, weren't they the ones who stole them to use in that game they ran a while back? Anyways they seem to be here to help out this time. There were a few other people he knew but none of them seemed like they needed any help. Eventually he decided to help with the rubbish, seeing two girls already doing it, but there seems to be enough to make him useful. Thinking they might have some kind of plan for how they would tackle the task he approached one of them, Ruby, he think her name is, Aston remember meeting her at Emily and Ophelia's birthday a while back. "Hey you're picking up the rubbish right? I came a bit late and most tasks seem to not have any room left, mind if I join you?"
Aston does regret not showing up earlier to help, he woke up a bit later then usual today since he stayed up a bit later to finish a sketch he was doing. And he really wanted a full stomach, it ain't his fault that the food at Hogwarts is good. Maybe I should sneak into the kitchen sometimes, I hear the house elf's might be willing to give people food. Aston was quite happy with how he did in his first year of school, he never did get into any trouble and has pretty good grades. It definitely took him a while to figure school out but he did it. This year he could probably do some more interesting things and not be so worried about staying out of trouble, though he supposed that game of Creaothceann he participated in was not within school rules.

The Search For Missing Cards
As soon as Wren read the errand notice on for Divination, she was off to North Tower. Though Wren hadn't actually met the Divination professor yet (only third years or older got to take the class), she couldn't resist the chance to earn a few extra house points for Ravenclaw.
After finally locating the classroom, Wren stepped inside and looked around for something she could do. A yellow post-it on top of a deck of Tarot cards caught her eye. She read out the missing cards from the first deck- two Wands, a Sword, and The World. This would be a lot easier if she knew what those cards looked like. She found the same cards in the identical deck so she'd know what to look for. Now she could begin the search.
Wren started with the poofs and cushions scattered across the room. There had to be a card or two stuck underneath one of those. Sure enough, it wasn't long before she found one of the missing Wands in the crack of a cushion. One down, three to go.
The next card she found, tucked under the edge of the carpet, wasn't one of the ones she'd been looking for at all. Marked Judgement, it belonged to the second deck. Wren returned it and continued her task.
The searching dragged a bit after that. It was almost twenty minutes before she found The World beneath a stack of dusty copies of Unfogging The Future. Wren groaned. This was taking forever. She'd already crawled across half the classroom, turning over every cushion, book, crystal ball, and stray dice. Under the tablecloths. That's where she'd look next.
It seemed her hunch had been incorrect, but underneath the last cloth she lifted was the missing Sword. Now all she needed to find was the other Wand. She crossed her fingers that she wouldn't have to spend an hour searching for it.
Unfortunately, it wasn't until thirty minutes later that she finally found the card, resting in the ashes of the fireplace. It must have blown off of whatever surface it was resting on into the ashes. Thankfully it hadn't been burnt.
Scanning the room for any uncovered cards she might've missed, Wren stood up with the recovered cards and placed them back inside their deck. Brushing the dust and ashes off her hands and knees, she exited the Divination classroom, with the satisfaction of a job well done.

Sereia's Calming Presence is in effect
Sereia disappeared for the next half hour or so cleaning her office, only coming down before she started to give Ruckus the tea he requested. The first point of business to tackle was obviously her desk; it was where she worked most nights, and would likely be the easiest thing to clean first. She worked through that and then moved onto her shelves.
Once enough time passed, Sereia deemed herself worthy of a break. She tied the rubbish bag closed full of papers, quills, and pencils that she no longer needed. There were a few smaller trinkets that the old professors had left behind, too, though many of them weren't useful to Sereia. She headed towards the door and put her hand on the handle, briefly looking back to assess her progress. Her desk was much clearer now and nothing looked like it would be a tripping hazard.
With a smile, she opened her door and headed down the stairs to find a few students carrying out their tasks. She looked at the board and gasped. More than enough students had chipped into the effort and practically smashed everything out with ease. There would likely still be more coming in throughout the day, meaning she could also move on to getting them to start with the redecorating.
"Good work, everyone! I'm so pleased," Sereia beamed, "Here, let me get these tablecloths and curtains from the cupboard. Let me write up some more things to do for the people who were still planning to help, too."
Please check the starter post for the newest set of activities! If you have already participated, please refrain from taking these new activities as they are for the rest of the students who haven't been able to join yet.

Not Quite Spring Cleaning
Meiyu had arrived much later than anticipated and upon entry, the head count of students participating in tasks slightly perplexed her, she had yet to see this much eagerness when it came to completing cleaning tasks. The young girl had always been taught to keep her bedroom clean and presentable, though the standards at home were vastly different to the castle.
During breakfast at the Great Hall, Meiyu heard chatter amongst students about the Divination cleaning errand, with eagerness to visit the classroom without waiting for a couple more years, Meiyu had signed herself up to participate. Besides, it was arguably better than spending her Saturday afternoon cooped up in the library completing homework.
She briskly walked towards the chalkboard, outlining the tasks required, the list varied from simple tasks such as curtain folding to a more advanced task of finding missing cards - something Meiyu presumed would be counterproductive given this was her first time being in this room. Noticing student names written by the assortment of tasks, Meiyu followed suit by picking up the white chalk and writing her own name down next to the task outlining 'Sweeping', a task she had presumed would not require thought and enable her to daydream.
After swiftly turning around, her eyes began to wander around the room, spotting a spare broomstick hidden in the corner of the classroom, that had been placed prior to the arrival of all the participating students. She strode towards the broomstick, quickly claiming it and began sweeping from the corner of the classroom, walking backwards with her small pile of dust and bringing it to the center of the room where she came into contact with fellow sweepers. Alyss Gilmour and Scout Fu-Hai. Briefly introducing herself as she approached them.
Though the interaction between them did not last that long, Meiyu was preoccupied with her self-allocated task, noticing that the divination room was in dire need of cleaning, making the head count of students more than appropriate. She had pondered how the classroom had gotten to this state and if the caretaker needed a serious talking to by the headmaster since the castles up-keep was not to Meiyu's standards, though she did not own a castle, she hoped that if she was in a situation where she did, the management and cleanliness would significantly be better. Her mind began to drift, romanticising the possibility of one day owning her very own castle and mentally decorating the place in her mind as she swept away.

They/She
Action: Placing down new rugsSince they'd started taking divination classes, Pax had been really finding a passion for the subject. After taking it originally as a joke (sorry not sorry, Professor Clairmont), they'd actually found a clarity in the class that had been able to help them through the hard time they'd been giving themselves with quidditch. Wanting to repay the favour as much as they would, Pax would find themself climbing up the winding staircases to the Divination room on that Saturday, despite their tired body from quidditch practice, in order to help clean the classroom. Yes. They were willing to give up their Saturday to clean. How times had changed.
It would seem that practice had kept them late, however, as they arrived, they noticed a lot of the tasks had been already completed, with a fresh new batch being written on the blackboard.
"Hey Professor," they greeted with a slight nod of their head, wandering slowly over to the board to examine the tasks at hand. Despite their tiredness, they assigned themself one of the more demanding tasks (or so they thought), and set about to begin moving the rugs in place. After all, they may as well put their strength to a good use aside from hitting bludgers on a quidditch pitch.
The new rugs were a beautiful pale shade of lilac that nicely complimented the vibe of the rest of the classroom, but that didn't stop Pax from cursing at them under their breath as they awkwardly hugged the roll of fabric and shuffled it into place. Unfortunately, this wasn't the only roll to be moved, so they hoped the curses they uttered would go ignored as more people would arrive.
Taking their fair sweet time, they'd just about manage to pull the rug to the other side of the room, saving them from having to drag one later on. Making sure not to knock over anything, they wrangled it around so the easily tear-able plastic was closer to them before ripping into it with a brute force. Plastic was sometimes so difficult to open. It was somewhat satisfying to see the shiny plastic wrap tear, though due to the way they'd tackled the problem, it probably would've easier to just open it and then slide the cover off the rug. Alas, Pax's approach to things typically erred on the unconventional side.
The plastic now in a ball in the corner of the room, Pax got to laying the rug down, making sure the space was clear before rolling it out. The new rugs were soft and fluffy to the touch, and the patterned design didn't clash in the already busy room. Pax honestly wished they could just lie there and take a nap, but there was still more to do.
"There," they sighed to themself, with a slight smile visible on their face. Grabbing the plastic, they found a trash bag to dump it in before returning to the other rugs. "One down, many more to go."Reducio

It was October 5th, the first Saturday of October, and baileys was happy. A, it was the weekend, b, there was an errand today, and c, she was going to ambush Kim on his way out of the Gryffindor common room and drag him to the cleaning errand.
She was hoping that cleaning would bring Kim some peace of mind, or at least get him moving a little. It was true, he had been seeming better, but Bailey was going to continue doing everything she could to get him allllll the way back to his true self.
Pulling on a simple outfit- white pants, a simple blue shirt that was a deep navy blue color, a cream and blue striped sweater, and her current favorite shoes, black platform boots- with all of this, Bailey was dressed and ready to go see Kim ‘kidnap’ gently encourage Kim to come with her.
Her jewelry was simple, gold and pearl, as she had been wearing as of late. She enjoyed wearing jewelry, but like it being simple and pretty, not super extravagant.
Arriving at the door to the Gryffindor common room, Bailey waited til she saw a tall, black hair, fair skinned, lean and tall figure. Going up to Kim’s side, she slipped her right arm under his left and started leading him to the Divination classroom.
“There’s an errand today, and we’re going” she said, as an explanation. Kim made a little movement like he was going to pull away, and Bailey tightened her arm, and let her hand grab his.
Turning to Kim, she gazed into his blue eyes and said “please Kim?”
A nod was all the response she got, and then they continued their journey onwards to the classroom.
Upon arrival to the classroom, Bailey looked around. There were about two dozen other students there, and a pair of professors to watch them.
Seeing some post it notes on the tarot cards on a desk Bailey saw that they were missing some cards. Pulling Kim behind her to take a closer look, she leaned into him and said “think we can find some of these cards? I think if we work together we can make short work of it!”

Amira woke up in the morning in a particularly good mood, ready for the weekend after a long week of classes. She had signed up to help out the Divination professor with some cleaning and organizing of the classroom so she quickly got dressed, braided her hair and set out on her way. After doing some work and having lunch with one of her Hufflepuff friends, she made her way to the divination classroom. She had to admit she was excited to see the classroom and meet the professor and also get to help out as well. Amira was intrigued by the divination course and couldn't wait for when she would be able to actually get to learn it. But, for now, she would settle for exploring a little today while she helped out.
When she arrived at the classroom, she saw the professor cleaning and organizing feverishly and other students spread out across the room doing different tasks. She noted that there was a task list on the chalkboard and quickly went over to read what they still needed help with. "Put tablecloths out, hang curtains, change pillow covers, place new rugs, put the candles and crystal balls out on the tables." She read quietly out loud to herself, thinking in her head which task to sign up for. After going back and forth she signed herself up to help place the candles and crystal balls out on the tables. Now she would get to see some of what the class would be like by helping with the task.
With that done she turned back around, glancing around the classroom again. There was a lot of work already done since she had come a little later than the others but nonetheless she was going to work hard. The classroom was looking pretty good already but there was clearly some finishing touches still needing to be done, as she saw from the remaining tasks on the board. Before she could even get started she found herself looking at all the decorations and things around the room.
She had to curb her curiosity for now and focus, going over to where the crystal balls and candles were currently sitting. When she picked up one of the crystal balls she was surprised at how heavy it actually was. Amira carefully and slowly took the crystal balls to each of the tables, placing them gently onto the tablecloths, straightening them out and making sure each was centered on the tables. Once she finished that she went back to grab two candles, one in each hand and began the process again placing them on each of the tables.
Being the perfectionist that she was, she checked over each table again, making sure everything looked neat and organized, something she loved to do anyways. She was almost sad to be finished with her task but still smiled as she looked at the work she did. She hoped that the professor would be pleased as well. She crossed out her job and name before she headed out of the classroom to go and relax in the Hufflepuff common room for a while.

Alliasta smiled at all the things that suddenly happened, the place started to become too crowded. He could not even distinguish people talking to him. There was another boy behind Mylo. Alliasta couldn't remember if she had seen him or not. But she smiled at him too. Another girl came. And she started talking to the group. The boy and girl behind Mylo both used magic to clear glass supplies. And then Mylo cast the Scourgify spell too. Yes, I guess magic was faster than hands, but wouldn't it be more fun to clean with your hands? But her aching arms were telling Alliasta something different. Alliasta smiled to Mylo.
"I'm fine too Mylo, thank you for asking! And yes, I wiped the mirror with my hands, but I guess my arms hurt so it's easier to cast a spell!"
And then Alliastada took his wand from his robe pocket and then spoke the incantations.
"Scourgify"
And the spell quickly did its job. Then Alliasta looked at Mylo and the others. And the girl smiled kindly at them.
"Oh I think all the mirrors are cleaned. And I think Kaito is awake by now. And if I know him at all, he's already rummaging through the room looking for snacks. So I'll be off for now! It was so much fun cleaning with you guys and lady! Oh and I'm Alliasta you can find me anywhere. I hang out everywhere! I'm off bye bye"

Ever since the school year had begun things had been different for him. Perhaps it had something to do with Haneul's (@Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood) passionate healing of him. Perhaps it had something to do with Kibō's arrival into his heart. Perhaps it was a little mixture of both of them. Regardless of the reason, Kim was finally starting to come out of the darkness again. The school year had been chaotic with so many first years being admitted to Hogwarts and Kim had revamped all of his past clubs that he'd run in the past. Even though he'd lost quite a few of the old members, at least some had stuck around and he'd gotten a few new members. But numbers weren't important, at least not for right now.
Making the clubs fun was more important to him. If they were fun, students would spread the word and gather others to join it too. With the start of the new school year, Kim was able to reunite with his friends including someone very close to him, @Bailey Glade. She'd sent him multiple letters throughout the summer, although he'd never answered them. It had been a dark time for him, one where he hadn't wanted to talk to anyone. If she'd been around him at the time, perhaps she could have been the one to save him instead of Haneul. But as it was, destiny had other plans for him. Kim yawned as he made his way to the portrait and stepped out of it, only to be attacked by Bailey, who had been waiting outside 4 him.
The Ravenclaw slipped her right arm under his left and dragged him off, while explaining there was an errand taking place up in the Divination classroom and she was going to take them to it. Kim shifted a little, the position not exactly the best and Bailey tightened her hold on him. She probably thought he was attempting to pull away from her, which wasn't surprising as before he'd have most likely done so. A faint smile came to his lips as he nodded at her next words. "Mm." He agreed with her and let her lead them to the Divination classroom. "Don't forget, we have a Mischief Makers club meeting today at one, directly after lunch time." Kim reminded her as they walked to their final destination.
She wasn't the co-leader for this particular club, that was @Damion White, but Bailey did act as their adviser and needed to be present at all of the club meetings. When they eventually entered the classroom, Kim looked around the area for a few minutes taking in the surroundings. It was only when Bailey spoke to him again, suggesting they look around for some of the missing cards that Kim looked back down at her. "I think others have already found them. The decks look complete to me." He told her, nodding at the cards she'd been looking at earlier. Some students were putting candles and crystal balls back on the tables and others were placing rugs down on what looked like a newly swept floor.
Kim recognized @Pax Zhang doing the latter and wondered how they were doing these days. He hadn't really seen anyone from the past in what seemed like ages. It was good to know at least some from the old days were still around and apparently doing well for themselves. Kim returned his attention back to Bailey as he pointed towards some tables off to the side. "Let's lay out some of the new tablecloths on those tables. That way people can put things on top of them afterward." Kim suggested to Bailey and moved over towards the area in question. He picked up a tablecloth and unfolded it, handing the other side for Bailey to unfold and grasp in her hands. It would be a rather easy task to do.
So Kim went about doing his part and placing his side of the tablecloth over the table.
