Preptober Prompts 2024 Fate?

Prompt 1:
The Barbarian (Red Orc in my case) : Hedeon Kerghug
| Write about an incident that would anger your character. Why would this make them angry? How do they deal with that anger?
Hedeon in the beginning of the story is a scout for the orcs, while half of it comes from prejudice due to his skin being different from other orcs due to recessive traits, they prefer having him on the move, away from the tribe that resides in the desserts of west. Some believe him to be cursed after the death of his mother during child birth and father during a scouting tour when he took Hedeon with him, and thus make the choice to keep him away. This is something infuriating to Hedeon as he fails to understand the treatment towards him in something he had no choice or part in.

This treatment eventually dies down as our ML uses Hedeon a the bridge between the humans on his side and orcs on the other to bring the short lived harmony that surrounds them for a while. With the discrimination directed towards him from his own tribe he had no other choice but to ignore it and work harder so one day they may look past events he had no control over and see the orc behind them.

However in the newer timeline, Hedeon is still fairly young and during his one outing as a slave to gather information for the tribe is subjected tot he cruel treatment considered normal for the orcs, aided by propaganda and books published to aid their cause. This being an event that reminded him of his home tribe with addition of the humans not being related to him made Hedeon's rage flow over as he decided he had enough and began a short fight with the guards transporting slaves and would have ultimately lost had it not been for the ML who had just been sent back in time a month ago did not know about it happening already and arrived in time to provide back up and make an escape with me.

after his burst of rage and near death does Hedeon realise the follies in letting his anger take over him yet it is harder for him to overcome his race's nature

Prompt 2:
The Cleric | Write about an institution in your setting. Is it well-liked and appreciated, or disliked by the general population?
The Cleric in this story hails from a school of healing that is less renowned in the world. On a mission to spread his religion around. But not with the intention to convert but rather to form the thought of whole world being one as his one final goal to accomplish. Not much is known of his religion or church and even the gods he serve. However healing magic in this world takes equally as much as it gives.

With being how hard it is to control, most wizards tend to overheal or underheal their patients which tends to worsen their effect. Thus those with too much mana can not perform accurate healing magic for most times. Our Cleric however serves a god who's quite benevolent, where the deity only takes the progress from his body where other gods from different churches take a part of the caster's soul or even a materialistic possession to grant the boon of healing.

Due to his unique ability and exchange he must perform everytime he heals something, his body regresses back to an equivalent state as the amount of magic performed. Food eaten an hour before using magic is consumed upon eating magic with none of the nutrients or calories going towards the healer/cleric. Thus he sports a short stature and very lean build. His muscles as well as stamina lack development due to the regressing nature of this ability.

Overtime with better control over his mana our cleric might be able to get better healing practices done but it sure beats selling your soul or abstaining from material joys of his life. With that mindset our cleric leaves his church to travel the world and spread his religion. Eventually on this road he shall meet the ML, might even see the world through his eyes and perhaps realize the folly of generalizing or hate based on inconclusive data.
