As Lamik sprinted through the hallways at top speed, he silently scolded himself. How in the world would someone be so irresponsible as to be late to a party that they helped organize? Yes, Lamik was lucky enough to get chosen as one of the coordinators of the graduation party- a choice that he was now afraid that everyone would seriously regret. It's not like he was late for any good reason, either: the young kid was sitting in his common room daydreaming about... someone... when he suddenly remembered that he sort of had to be helping keep a certain party running smoothly.

Unfortunately, the event itself seemed to not run smoothly in his absence. "Well... shoot." Was all the boy said as he watched a disco ball electrocute a boy. Why was that even a feature? What disco ball would even need that to be a thing? As much as he wanted to help calm it (and the rest of the mirrored spheres of death) down, Lamik wasn't entirely sure how to approach the situation. Never the less, the boy raised his wand at the nearest one, waved it in the shape of a V with a swish at the end, and muttered an enchantment: "Difindo." The boy didn't have time to see if he had made the situation better or worse however as he rushed over to the electrocuted boy to make sure he was alright. "Are you hurt?"

The year had flown by. Now, here Sylvie was at the first year graduation party. “Wow. I whole year has gone by...” She thought walking to the Great Hall. She was a bit late since she had spent a lot of time debating whether she should even attend the party. One, Sylvie didn’t really like big events like this one. Two, she didn’t wasn’t that excited to leave. She missed her sister and all, but besides that she didn’t have thst much of an interesting life to go back to. It was mostly just Sylvie and her sister hanging out at there house, sometimes going to the ocean. Well, at least she was going to a friends house for a bit over the summer.

Sylvie was wearing a casual outfit, which hopefully not to casual for the event. It was a simple t-shirt and jean shorts. As she entered the Great Hall, it seemed like everyone else had already found their friends. She also noticed a handful of disco balls flying all over the place, as if they were alive and out for blood. Some students were trying to fight back, while others focussed on protecting themselves. Sylvie was the latter, giving a small yelp as a ball flew her way, then quickly diving under a table. “Oh my, what is happening and why is it happening now?!?”

"Do not worry about it." It was actually not important at all. She was pretty sure that she was not down with the flu. Which meant there was no need to be worried. To be fair, if she actually had flu, she wouldn't come to this place. She would have a reason to refuse her Head of the House's request. People came here to meet their friends, new people and find food or drinks. She didn't have any interested in the things she had just mentioned. If she actually had flu, she would be able to read all the books that were waiting for her at the dorm.

"They are definitely weird. It is wasting time to come here just to take a look or something and immediately leave." And that would never be something that she would do. "Instead of using their time to do those, they should do their own homework, or read more books to improve their knowledge." Although she still kept calm, she was actually uncomfortable from the inside. If the lavendered hair girl was not a prefect, she would do things that she had mentioned.

Right, the last time they met, she actually helped her. Luna Choi actually helped someone because of her own will.

Ew.

That totally didn't sound like her. Even Luna herself thought this was impossible, although it was totally the truth. Well at least, she did not cause herself into troubles at that time. No detention or anything like that, at least she was not fully an idiot back then.

"Normal. Yes, I did. I forgot to do something back then." That was a lie, but Luna said it so normal as if it was the truth. She read somewhere, that if you succeed with convincing yourself with your lie, no one else would doubt it. Also, Luna refused that she ran away from Elena, so obvious she could convince herself with it.

"Maybe next tim-" Before she could finish her sentence, the Slytherin Prefect realized something was wrong over there. What happened? She had no idea. The only thing she knew was that the balls were insane now.

Talk about insane, Water Tap was not here. That was the only reason why she could still stay here without feeling super annoyed. Thank you, Merlin, that she didn't show up.

Anyway, about this situation... Wow. She actually bought her wand with her... Could she just leave and say that it was because she didn't have a wand? High chance to fail. The professor was here. Annoying. Also, there was Nico who was a prefect there (Yes Arc I know you are a prefect as well but forgive me that Luna doesn't remember you xD), she totally couldn't just ignore this now.

"Apologies, I have to go." After saying it, she quickly walked to the center. Now it's time to speak loud, but not too loud that her voice might crack... "Everyone, calm down. Who has wands, take out them and attack those balls. Remember, do not use the Fire-Making Spell unless you have interested in burning this party. Whoever does not bring their wands with, do not worry." She slightly looked around, "Go the closest person who has a wand to you but does not interrupt them from casting spells." Ugh, this was so annoying, why couldn't anyone step out for her? Taking out her wand, she drew the familiar hand movement at the disco ball near her and calmly said, "Flipendo."

Just because I said you were bad does not mean that I am mean. It shows that I am honest.

"Why does it seem like everyone is avoiding you like the plague? I know why they're avoiding Arc, which in itself is quite ridiculous in my opinion, but you seem rather normal yourself. Apart from the paleness in your skin."

Nico froze abit hearing that question. Ofcourse, she had tried her best to not look too pale or ... anything deadlike. But it was hard to ignore as soon as you paid close attention to it. Nico was surprised at how familiar the Gryffindor girl acted towards her. She immediately made the isolated Slytherin feel at peace. 'Hah.. I.. It's kind of a long story, to be honest..'

Before she could continue to answer Raine's question, something changed in the room. The lights started to dance, dangerously. Looking over at where Arc had ran off to, kids started to scream in panic. The discoballs... had gone rogue..

For some reason, a boy laid semi-knocked out on the floor after dealing with one of those balls. Seems like this could be dangerous. Nico's eyes looked around the room as chaos started to unfold. This had to stay in control or this could go bad.. This can't be another Blossom Ball... This time the Slytherin Prefect was going to stay where her fellow students needed her.

Just now she noticed the other people that had arrived. Some Professors and even her Prefect colleague, Luna. This should go rather smoothly... should.

Nico quickly pulled out her wand and nodded at Luna as to let her know she saw her. She stood infront of Raine, she didn't want this kind, spontaneous girl to be hurt. The balls were going insane. Students with wands here and there aimed and tried their best to fend the terrorising spheres. 'Alright! You heard Miss Choi! Go stand behind someone who has a wand or leave the Great Hall. This is not a drill! Get yourself to safety!'

Eyeing one ball flying towards her, Nico aimed her wand and spoke: 'FLIPENDO!'

It had seemed days... days? YEARS til he saw her.
What could a mere man do to fight the urge of romance. He had fallen for her. Quite simple. How he could not have seen it before was but a mystery now. A question so silly it faded in the shadow of passion. Obsession was another word for it. But an obsession of righteous conquest. This was the time for a prince to stand and snatch her from her tower. Nevermind tea or biscuits, he'd survive on her love alone.

Now there he was. Running through the castle. Desperately escaping to her embrace. He needed to see her. His heart was now pounding hard inside his chest. Would she still be mad he wondered. She must have seen there was no ill intent the last time they parted. He was ambushed really. The surprise leaving him shocked for such a possibility. Like a siren call he followed her odor through the halls. He made halt in front of the pair of gigantic doors. So nervous. But is was time.

With all his might he pushed down hard on the dark wood. Swinging both doors open until they clashed into each side of the walls. The immediate light struck him blind. His shirt now lit in bright colors. He'd enter one step at a time. The professor's clear blue eyes traversing the room.

Target acquired.
He never heeded the chaos inside. The large flying discoballs were just crystalline orbs lighting her presence. She. The epicenter of this universal force that dragged him towards her. The students were just her audience. The hundreds of fans who could see what he saw, but never feel as he felt. As if time slowed his approach, he stepped forward. His eyes locked, his blonde hair waving in the wind. A sly smirk playing on his lips. With a final move and a twist to the music. Whether it was actually playing in the great hall or just his head. He had arrived. A swift grasp got her in his strong arms.

"Miss Bercegeay... I am so glad to find you here."

Koko's attention turned away from Illowy as the scary girl began to speak. But... why not use fire? Fire was amazing! A frown flitted across the blonde's face as she watched Fridge talk. Hm... Well, she had been interested in burning down the hall at first, and it would help with the disco ball issue. Koko pulled out her wand. She looked at the other girl - her name was something like Nico or Nicole, but Koko didn't remember perfectly.

Her wand was actually very short - it was only around twenty centimetres. She aimed it at one of the flying disco balls. Koko couldn't use the Knockback Jinx; she didn't have it perfected yet. So of course she'd be using something else.

It wasn't like her to be randomly chaotic without thinking, though, so she would first wonder if this was the right thing to do. It had to be, otherwise she wouldn't do it, but then why did the little girl feel so odd about it?

Narrowing her golden eyes, she pointed her wand at a ball. "Incendio," Koko said firmly, moving her wand in the shape of a miniature flame. Koko wasn't really too scared, and then she pointed her wand at another ball. "Incendio!" She wasn't that much of a pyromaniac... She just couldn't help but feel like setting these on fire would burn them away. Never did it cross the young Slytherin's mind that the rogue disco balls might turn into rogue fireballs that could kill someone.

She took a step back as a ball came racing towards her, and then she cast the spell again - "Incendio!" She would be fine. They would all be absolutely fine. Illowy had disappeared from her mind as Koko became set on lighting these balls on fire, determined to burn them all to ash.

Elena tilted her girl curiously at the girl as she talked, a half smile mixed with a frown creasing her features. Something felt..off about her today. She seemed normal yet her dry tone..maybe Elena was overthinking it. Whatever was going through her head, she would have to save it for later as Luna made to suddenly announce her departure to a situation that was unfolding before them as the Gryffindor ducked to avoid a rogue disco ball that flew at her missing her by inches. "What on earth?!"She whipped around, wand in hand as the prefect's authoritative voice rang out commanding control of the situation. That was when her heart sank. The Knockback Jinx, she did not have the ability to to perform such magic yet but being a former prefect, the thought of just sitting idly by pained her. Her eyes widened as she saw a boy attempting to grab one of the balls. You foll! No!!She cringed watching as he was shocked beyond belief and crumpled to the ground like a sack of potatoes."Oh, for crying out loud.."She muttered pushing her way through the partygoers aggresively to where another male was standing over the boy.

"How is he? Is he breathing?"She asked kneeling next to the stunned boy putting two fingers to his wrist feeling for a pulse or any sign of life. Electrical shocks were dangerous, they had the potential to cause life-threatening injuries and if not treated soon enough, well, she didn't need to think about that right now. In amidst of all this chaos, her keen eye also caught another frantic student pointing her wand at the rouge balls and was that..flames she was attempting to cast?Inhaling sharply, she glanced at the other boy who had rushed over to help getting his attention."Get a professor and if our poor soul here wakes up, keep him warm. The last thing you want a victim of electrocution is to get chilly and cold, trust me. I'll be right back."She spewed out the directives before rushing off in the direction of the pyromaniac or was attempting to at least."Are you insane?! You'll set us all aflame!"She whispered in a sort of mean-like fashion seizing the student's wrist locking eyes with her."Instead of potentially harming others in the process, how about come and help us with said electrocuted boy. Summon one of those professors!"She was not going to have a repeat of the Blossom Ball, this party had seemed to be going fine and she intended to keep it that way. For once..couldn't things work out..just once.

The cinnamon flavor of firewhiskey still lingered on her tongue as her dreams of a spicier night finally came true. The glimmer of the brightest outfit in the room caught her eye and heart as Olphie realized that cupid's arrow had finally hit its target.

He. The tug at her heart lured her forward as she disregarded the rest of the party. Hundreds of fans knew who she was, but finally, the one whose eyes she wanted most were upon her. Time felt nonexistent as she watched his baywatch-esque stride get closer, closer, receding blonde hair flowing from the disco ball-powered wind. Her eyes locked, she saw that sly smirk as she matched it with one of her own. She knew. His final step, a twist to the music and chaos unbeknownst to them for they were finally settled in destiny. His toned arms protected her from the nonsense around them that firewhisky had only temporarily relieved.

"I knew you'd find me, Caradoc," she inhaled softly as she tilted her eyes upward, past that chiseled jaw, to meet his. "I've been so patiently waiting."

Love was a tricky thing, something that had to be mastered, and Olphie knew she had cultivated her talents to overcome its obstacles. The kiss...that had been a mistake, too much too soon, but the owled apology, yes, that had been everything she needed to win him once and for all. The other professors, they had wanted him for themselves, she knew, intrigued by his illustrious accomplishments, his passion for his daughter, even the wiggle of his nose. But she had won.

The rainbow glow of his shirt depicted her heart as it felt pulled in so many feelings and directions. Olphie silently creeped her fingers up she sleeve, relishing in the rugged definition that was disguised under poofed-sleeves. It was as if he knew that she would want him all for herself, always. She'd have to find some more clothing that continued the illusion that his body was unremarkable, much like the tweed suit from before had. His heart needed protecting from anyone else who tried to poach it.

All it would take was one kiss to solidify that their love was true, and Olphie inclined her lips higher to make contact. She paused, nestled closer instead. They had no need to hurry; she had played it slow before with him. She knew that she had hours. For now, something had greater importance, and that was showing the other students that they were the role models of the century. They would breathe in the disco.

"Care to dance, Caradoc?" She'd asked, playfully wiggling her nose in the seductive manner he had once done before. The disco diva motioned once more to lose herself deep into those crystal-clear eyes before she'd break free of the strong body that provided a refuge from the calamities around them. The light from the spells around them would simply bounce off of her dress as she proceeded to dance.

Choi didn’t realize that Mari could still arrive. She hadn’t expected to be this late but sometimes crying got in the way of punctuality, and the Porcelain Palace just promised her a safety that this party could not guarantee. But Mari had promised her mum, and Lucy too, that she would at least give it a try. She now made her way to the great hall, just as chaos erupted, unaware what lay beyond those thick wooden doors.

She had watched her Head of House, Professor Browne, make his way boldly to the party, even uttered a ”He-“ before he was gone. It was a shame. Mari had hoped that he would be pleased, seeing his fifth prefect being social, but...he must have had some important business.

Not soon after, Mari pulled open the door to curiously peek into the hall. This was. ...not what she expected it to be at all. The whole decor was terrifying. Why had someone purposely put in decorations that were attacking people? She took in the scene, noting the Caradoc and Professor Browniegames doing...something that seemed incredibly inappropriate for a first year party, that boy whose name she still did not know Lamik smh trying to get the glory of trauma once more with some unconscious kid, even her idiot coworker Choi, and then...Her eyes locked on one of the perpetrators of the chaos.

Mari, knowing her jobs’ duties, knew she had to intervene, and she relished upon the fact that she could punish her enemy finally. She needed vengeance for the fact that this Riddle was constantly causing trouble, yet only Mari the consequences. Finally this idiot would get the punishment she deserved.

Mari charged forward, eyes focused on her target, as she pulled out her wand. Riddle probably didn’t deserve any spells, only punches, but for now she had to at least pretend that she didn’t hope the opportunity to punch without getting fired would arise.

Freezing directly in Riddle’s line of attack, she pulled out an aggressive stance before she demanded, ”Just what do you think you’re doing?”

Saskia wasn't sure whether or not she wanted to go to the first year graduation party. It wasn't that she didn't like parties- in fact, she would have loved to take a break from the stress from exams and socialize with people. She didn't even care that the parties held in Hogwarts were somehow cursed and typically ended in disaster. She could handle a little bit of danger in her life. But nowadays, she was feeling quite down. It might have had to do with exams, but there was something more to it. She had still been searching for answers to her personal investigation, and for the past few days, it was the only thing she could think about. If she wasn't studying for exams, she would continue to find answers, even to the point of isolating herself from other people whenever she felt particular distressed. So far, only one person knew what she had been doing. But she wouldn't let anyone else know about it. At least not yet.

But here she was, walking towards the Great Hall. It was a last minute decision, and she was most certainly late to the party. It didn't bother her, however. It gave her an opportunity to blend in the crowd in case she didn't feel like talking to people. She wasn't even dressed for the occasion, only wearing a red jacket with a white shirt and some jeans. It wasn't too flashy, but she hoped it would somewhat fit the theme of the party, with all the colours and such.

And of course, the party was already in chaos. Several shiny balls were wildly flying around the room, and a group of kids were already trying to push the balls back. She vaguely recognized one of them to be her tutor that helped her out in Transfiguration, but she couldn't tell who the other people were. On the other side, there was an injured boy, and near him was Lamik trying to help the boy. But she didn't have time to think too much about that, now that he was already taking care of that problem. There were other things to focus on.

One of those things happened to be the idiot trying to set the party on fire. She knew her as that duelling opponent who pissed her off throughout the whole duel, or otherwise formally known as Koko Riddle. It wasn't any surprise she was acting crazy, but wow, her brain must have fell out of her skull. As much as the Hufflepuff would have loved to chew her out for it, two people were already seemingly trying to stop her. It would have been pointless for her to try to stop the maniac when those two were on it.

The other thing was how the professors also seemed to have lost their minds. People were getting injured, and instead of helping out, they were... Flirting? Saskia groaned. Could they save the lovey-dovey act after this mess was sorted out? She was quite disappointed to know how the head of Hufflepuff was also acting. She would have expected him to act a bit more mature, but clearly, he seemed to be incapable of doing so.

Unfortunately, Saskia didn't have the time to yell at the professors to snap out of whatever they were doing. She would have to take matters in her own hands. Seeing as the maniac was already being dealt with, the only things left were the flying balls and the injured boy. She still had no idea how to stop the disco balls, and a lot of other people seemed to be trying to stop them. Whether that would work or not would be left unseen. Of course, she could have also tried to repair the objects broken by the balls, but she would have to do that after the balls stopped moving around.

That left her with the injured boy. She could probably carry him to the Hospital Wing if he was particular lightweight, or if she got someone else's help in carrying him. She could have also looked to see if there were any other professors who were in the party, although it was hard to see where everyone else was with all the disarray of the disco balls and students running around to look for cover. With that in mind, the girl walked towards Lamik and the other boy. Kneeling down, she tried to have a closer look at the boy's wounds. Luckily, he was still alive, although it wouldn't be long before one of the flying balls end up hitting him again by accident.

"Should we get him to the Hospital Wing?" she asked, glancing down at the boy. "The professors don't seem very intent on helping out," she added exasperatedly, turning her head towards the two professors with an annoyed look.

"Honestas ante honores."
