Broom Racing Practice
Yolanda went to the Outdoor Club Area in order to train for her upcoming unofficial Broom race.
Her teammates, @Luke Luke and @Alliasta Holista, would hopefully come but if not she would still be okay with practicing on her own.
Yolanda enjoyed her time together but sometimes needed time alone.
She brought out the school broom. *gulp* it would be okay. She honestly had no idea what she was doing – and only a few spells, charms, or tricks up her robes – but she was going to give it an honest go.
She had already oiled the broom and done all the maintenance taught in class. She checked her surroundings and space around her. Empty. She was ready.
“UP” she commanded and the broom raced gracefully into her hand.
Good start!
She hopped up onto the broom letting her feet dangle, then swept herself up and off the grounds. It was a wonderful feeling – the wind in her hair, her feet dangling above the Outdoor Club Area. She hoped her teammates could come and see this!
This was going to be a great practice; even if she ended up on her own. If others joined her that would be fun too! She would see.
