Elvenia sat under the large shady tree, totally immersed in Quidditch Through the Ages. The autumn breeze carried a light chill, but the tree’s shade offered a comfortable spot. Her sparkling blue eyes scanned the pages, her mind racing with the idea of trying out for the school Quidditch team.

She barely noticed the figure approaching until a light tap on her shoulder made her jump slightly. Turning her head, she was met with a girl’s bright, cute smile.

The girl introduced herself as Alliasta Holista asking her what she was reading.

Elvenia blinked in surprise but quickly smiled back, adjusting the book in her lap. "Oh, hi! You didn’t disturb me at all." Her voice was calm and welcoming. "I’m Elvenia Moonshadow, but you can call me Ellie if you’d like. I’m reading Quidditch Through the Ages. I’ve been thinking of trying out for the Quidditch team, so I thought I’d give it a read to learn more about it."

She paused, glancing back at the lively girl, intrigued by her sudden energy. "Are you interested in Quidditch too?" Elvenia’s smile widened as she closed the book slightly, ready to continue the conversation. "It’s pretty fascinating, especially if you like flying."

The cool breeze gently rustled the pages, but Elvenia was fully attentive, wondering what Alliasta's answer would be..

Alliasta's feelings were correct! The girl was truly kind and Alliasta would definitely be friends with her. The girl introduced herself as Elvenia and even allowed Alliasta to call her by a nickname. That was great.

"Wow, your name is so beautiful, like princess names!"

Alliasta giggled. Her eyes widened when the girl mentioned Quidditch. Alliasta had always loved Quidditch too. They always went to watch the London Quidditch team, which they supported with all their relatives. The sound and ambiance were so great. It was exciting and really fun to watch.

"Oh, I love Quidditch, too. It's a really great sport. Flying on a broomstick is already a great excitement in itself, and playing Quidditch with teams while doing it is really great! Actually, I would love to join the Gryffindor team too. Hey, I hope we can be on opposite teams in the future and have friendly competitions!"

Alliasta explained excitedly and was out of breath when she finally finished.

"Hehe, I'm a little too energetic. I hope I don't tire you out!"

Alliasta smiled at the girl again. She would love to compete as an opponent one day in the future. She seemed like a really ambitious girl, so Alliasta believed that Elvenia would one day achieve her dreams.

Elvenia chuckled softly, feeling the warmth of Alliasta’s excitement. "Thank you! I’ve never really thought of my name like that" she said with a grin, amused by the comparison to a princess.

Her eyes lit up as Alliasta mentioned loving Quidditch too. "Oh, that’s awesome! Quidditch really is something else, isn’t it? I’ve always been fascinated by how fast-paced and strategic the game is. The thrill of flying combined with the excitement of scoring goals or catching the Snitch!….It’s a whole different world up there."

When Alliasta brought up joining the Gryffindor team and potentially being opponents, Elvenia raised an intrigued eyebrow. "Ooo Gryffindor, huh? That would be so fun! A friendly competition sounds perfect. I’d love to play against you one day....imagine how intense and exciting it’d be!"

She noticed Alliasta catching her breath and smiled softly. "Don’t worry, you’re not tiring me out at all. Honestly, I like your energy,it’s refreshing. I could use some of that when I’m on the pitch!" She gave a small laugh, her fingers lightly brushing the edge of the book in her lap.

Leaning back against the tree, Elvenia looked out toward the lake, imagining future Quidditch matches. "It’d be great to see you on the field. I’m planning to try out as a Seeker, though I still need to work on my speed. Maybe we can practice together sometime."

Her smile grew, feeling a spark of connection. "We’d definitely make great competitors."

Alliasta smiled, Elvenia not bothered by her excitement or her too much talking. For Alliasta, this was the best quality to look for in a friend. A friend who could keep up with her excitement was better than anything.

Alliasta thought for a moment. They were at a Quidditch match with everyone cheering. Alliasta is a chaser and Elvenia is a seeker, the two are in an exciting match. The place is full of people. The fans and applause are the perfect environment.

"Wow, wow, yes, I really like this idea! Flying on a broomstick is already perfect! and the atmosphere with those fans... oh maybe I'll be a Quidditch player when I grow up!"

"I think I would be a chaser... I mean, scoring goals and team play etc. It would be fun to set up a game with other chasers and stuff."

"Being a rival is a good thing, in the end, we both lose and win, and being rivals together is more fun."

Alliasta smiled, it was good to have fun together anyway. Even if they were rivals, friendship and fun would ultimately come to the fore.

"So what hobbies do you have besides Quidditch? I like drawing and running, and making compliments is a hobby of mine, and taking care of Kaito is also a hobby! Oh and Kaito is my ferret!"

Elvenia listened, her smile widening as Alliasta spoke. The thought of a crowded Quidditch pitch, everyone cheering and the intensity of a match filled her mind too. "That sounds amazing! I can totally picture it...us on the field, you as a Chaser, me as a Seeker. We’d make the match unforgettable, for sure."

She chuckled at Alliasta’s enthusiasm about scoring goals. "A Chaser really suits you, you know! You’ve got the energy for it! and working with the other Chasers to outsmart the opposing team sounds like a lot of fun. I think being rivals would be the best kind of fun. Like you said, win or lose, it’s all about the excitement and friendship in the end."

When Alliasta asked about her hobbies, Elvenia tilted her head thoughtfully. "Besides Quidditch? Well, I love reading, pretty much anything, really, but especially books on astronomy. Stargazing is one of my favorite things to do at night. I have a telescope that my parents gave me, and I could spend hours just looking at the stars."

Elvenia’s eyes brightened as she continued. "I also like drawing, mostly doodles in my journal and I guess you could say writing too. I have a pet cat, Snowball....he’s a Silver Siberian. He’s very curious, like your Kaito, I bet. They’d probably get along!"

She laughed softly, imagining the two pets meeting. "Taking care of Snowball is definitely one of my hobbies, though he’s pretty independent. I think it’s awesome you have a ferret! Kaito must be fun to have around."

"Also I really love your eyes! They're so beautiful and unique!"

Elvenia smiled warmly at her new friend, happy to have met someone so full of life.

Alliasta already had very good feelings about the girl in front of her. The girl seemed kind, caring and really sweet. She already knew they would be good friends. Even Quidditch was a commonality. And Elvenia had a pet too. A cat and his name is Snowball, a Silver Siberian cat. Alliasta mostly knew the cat species anyway because she loved researching animals.

"You know, yes. I'm very energetic. I can definitely use my energy in a sport, and the fact that it's Quidditch and being a chaser is even more of a plus for me! If I'm doing something I love, my energy doubles! It's just like meeting new people. In fact, even this is a hobby for me. Meeting someone new when I'm bored! I have all the time to spare for friends and an almost unlimited source of energy!”

"I love cats, but dogs are better for me. But you know Kaito best of all, he's more like my own son than a pet! Only those who have pets like you will understand me! Hehehe."

Alliasta smiled. She always wanted a dog. But Kaito was more special to the girl than any dog she could ever ask for.

"My eyes? Oh, yes, yes! many people like it very much. I'm glad you like it! Some people think it's weird. But sometimes it's good to be weird, it's not good to be the same all the time!"

Alliasta's eyes have always been a source of pride for her. She liked to be different. Her eyes were also energetic and dynamic like her, two different colors such as her personality being Gentle and Exciting.

“I always thought my amber eyes expressed my Calmness and gentleness, and my blue eyes expressed my energy and joy! In my family, only me and my distant cousin Boris, who is my favorite cousin, also have Heterocramia eyes.”

When Alliasta brought up her heterochromatic eyes, Elvenia’s eyes softened with admiration. "I love that about your eyes. They’re soo unique, and they really do reflect your personality! Amber and blue...that combination is so special. Honestly, I think it’s wonderful to stand out. Being ‘weird’ as some would say, just means being true to yourself."

She glanced toward the lake, her mind drifting as she imagined her new friend’s colorful personality.

Elvenia’s own blue eyes sparkled as she met Alliasta’s gaze. "And your cousin Boris sounds interesting too. Heterochromia runs in the family, huh? You two must have a special connection because of it. I’d love to meet him one day."

Alliasta sighed happily he had met a truly amazing girl and he would be dying to hang out with her again. She was a girl who truly appreciated Alliasta's excitement. She was kind and the girl was really nice to hang out with.

"Yes, I'm very energetic, aren't I? Heh, it's great for me to be like this, how else could I take care of everything like this? Also, I sleep very well, so my energy is always high on a regular basis!"

Alliata was always very energetic. It was in this girl's nature. As a child, he was always the person with the most energy. When her cousins came over for sleepovers, Alliasta was always the last one to sleep. But she sleeps really well during sleep, so she gets her energy back.
