Closed Familiarity in Pixie Homes

@Sabine Blumenthal
Angie had already explored so much of the castle and the grounds, noting where she was expressly not allowed to go. She did not wish to get in trouble within her first week at Hogwarts. However, her mother told her that she could always visit the professor of the Care of Magical Creatures class and give her pixie houses for the pixies in the forest. When Angie was growing up, with a mother being a Basic Household Retrieval Specialist with the Department of the Care of Magical Creatures, there were certain things she was taught and was allowed to do growing up. Of course, she was able to go on some "adventures" with her mother to go rescue basic magical creatures stuck at people's houses, but there were some adventures where she just tried to prep her mother for the journey.
Pixies are often nasty little creatures that her mother had to go take care of (typically removing them from people's cupboards or the like). Angie had never seen a pixie, but her mother taught her how to make houses for them, just to make sure they could still be comfortable, even though they were no longer housing themselves in someone else's things. She started with choosing sticks and weaving them in and out of each other, alternating the sides that she was putting them on to ensure they would form a box. From there, she would find some sturdy piece of bark or carpet or a strong leaf to act as a floor of the house. The last addition to the house was a roof of sorts with a string attached to hang on a tree or somewhere the pixies belonged (other than in a person's yard or house).
Thus, in her attempt to make herself at home at Hogwarts, Angie took on the task of making these houses for the pixies she heard were in the Forbidden Forest. Of course, she decided not to go into the forest to find them, but she thought she could give them to the professor who took care of them. She went through all of the steps to make the houses and ended up with three of them before the afternoon got too far along and she had to go study again.
Once she was finished making them, she found the professor (whom she had seen at certain mealtimes and around the grounds throughout the week) and held out the houses to her.
"Here. My mom said I could give these to you for the pixies. Sorry I didn't have carpet for the floors instead of bark. I know my mom said they usually like that better."
Angie saw the professor smile, taking the houses, and she knew Hogwarts wouldn't be as scary as she thought.

(Slight godmodding [prof smiling at Angie and taking the pixie houses] was allowed by professor previously)

I may be small, but let me help!
