Continued on from this post.
The two arrived in the trophy room a couple of minutes later, after journeying up countless of staircase and corridors, slightly out of breath from the long trek upwards.
Now inside, Isaiah glanced around, Maya close beside him. Standing at the entrance of the room, Isaiah could see stone walls, made of heavy, uneven bricks, and wooden furniture, scattered around. On top of these tables lay something far more interesting, glass cases filled with trophies, gold, silver, bronze, shining, reflecting the light from the numerous candles. On the left, he could just see an open door, leading to the armour room, where shining soldiers made of metal stood up in attention, and mirrors and portraits hung on the walls. That room, Isaiah knew, was brimming with hidden secrets, and he could feel his fingers itching to explore and discover.
Turning to Maya, he grinned, filled with excitement now that they ave finally arrived inside the room. Stepping in slowly, as if entering a sacred place, he pivoted around, glancing at all the trophies inside, and trying to make out the writings. Alas, most were too small to make out, and he gave up soon after, and shifted round to face Maya again.
"Cool, isn't it? I'd love to be on one of these one day. Maybe I will, sometime," Isaiah said wistfully. "Hey, do you want to have a look in the trophy room? I've heard there are secrets, behind the mirrors and pictures. We could go see if it's true."

After walking up what felt like thousands of steps they had finally got to the trophy room and armour room Maya was stood next to Isaiah just looking in there were cases filled of bronze, silver and gold trophies all glistening and gleaming brightly it was an amazing sight and one Maya would remember
Maya turned to face Isaiah he was grinning with excitement and Maya couldn’t help but smile back, Maya watched as he walked in the room pivoting around looking at the trophies it just made her smile more seeing how excited he was
Maya stepped in the room following him, when she entered the room she started to admire the trophies trying to read the engravings on them she had to squint to read them one said “James Potter” she remembered reading about him in her history books she tried reading others but the words were too small and hard to read
Isaiah said to Maya wistfully with hope in his eyes he seemed excited to be here and he had hope that one day he would be on a trophy like these Maya admired that about him she didn’t believe in hope or hope for anything because every time she did she just got disappointed but she liked that he hadn’t given up hope

[quote]“That’s why we are here isn’t it?" Maya said. "Let's see if this castle hides any secrets”
Maya then started to admire the paintings on the walls, walking around as she did so. Isaiah, on the other hand, was itching to start looking, but the paintings were, admittedly, very beautiful, and he stopped to look with here.
One painting caught his eye, of three women, who sat around an old wooden table drinking some sort of drink that Isaiah guessed was firewhisky in large cups. One of the women, red-haired and large, with freckled skin and an Victorian style dress spotted Isaiah's curious glance at her painting. Turning to her two friends, she spoke, with a loud, booming voice.
"Well look at this ladies, there's some students here again," she said, and began to laugh alarmingly loud, making Isaiah step back, unsure of what to say. A second woman, this one incredibly taller than the others, and much older, looked at Isaiah sternly.
"You're not here looking for adventures are you?" she said, emphasizing the word adventure, making it clear she wasn't a fan. "Students always are, these days. They don't know how to respect this place, no they don't. Now, in my days..."
"Oh, shut up Agatha" said the third witch, much larger than her two companions, and much younger. "Don't you worry 'bout old Agatha," she said to Isaiah kindly. "But, if you're looking for secrets, have a look at the paintings in the armour room. You're sure to find something there."
Isaiah smiled at the young witch grateful for the advice. "Thanks," he told her, and backed away.
"Do you think we should have a look around that room?" Isaiah asked Maya. "It sounds promising," he added as an afterthought. "You can lead the way, if you want."

Isaiah started admiring the paintings with Maya for a moment when one of the paintings started speaking, it was a painting of three women who were sitting around an old looking table drinking something, one of the women had fiery red hair with freckles in a Victorian style dress, another one looked older than the first and was taller as well she just had a stern look on her face, and the third woman looked like the youngest she was quite a bit larger than the other two women and she had a much softer and kinder expression on her face
She spoke again
Now the third and final girl was talking
Part of Maya wondered if the real secrets were in the trophy room but they were acting friendly so we would go in the armour room and not find anything but then again Maya was probably just overthinking things so she just smiled kindly at the three painted women
The boy started talking to Maya so she turned to face him
Walking inside there were large armour stands holding big metal weapons and clunky, shiny armour, Maya didn’t want to get too close just incase they came alive like the paintings, she started looking around the room and at each painting hoping for some clues or hoping it would start talking to her like the other painting did to Isaiah
When the painting started speaking it made Maya jump she never heard a painting speak before or move or be alive it was all a shock for her and she didn’t seem too happy Maya and Isaiah were in thereWell look here ladies, there’s some students here again,
The second more stern looking woman said after she emphasised on the word adventures in a mocking tone which angered Maya a little she didn’t know anything about them and maybe they would find something but at the same time the moving paintings scared her not that she would show itYou’re not in here looking for adventures are you?
She spoke again
She put emphasis on some of her words again and hearing her talking Maya felt slightly sorry for her she was just stuck in a painting watching people come and go all the time and not respecting the paintings or the room no wonder she wasn’t a fan of Maya being hereStudents always are, these days. They don’t know how to respect this place, no they don’t. Now, in my days

she said informing Isaiah, he then smiled at the painted woman and thanked her for the information she had givenBut, if you’re looking for secrets, have a look at the paintings in the armour room. You’re sure to find something there.

“Okay let’s check it out, to the armour room we go” Maya said turning to face the door but before she started walking she turned to the three painted women “Thank you and sorry for bothering you Agatha” she said sweetly with a small smile, Maya turned again and started walking into the armour room quickly not wasting anytime “You coming ?” She called back to Isaiah after rushing aheadYou can lead the way, if you want

I got the information about the room here [x]
"You coming?"
Maya rushed forward into the armoury as she said the words, and Isaiah ran after her, excited by the painting's clue. They entered the armour room together; but while Isaiah stopped as soon as he reached the entrance, Maya did not, instead, she started examining the room straight away, looking around the room, and inspecting the paintings that hung up there, perhaps looking for another clue, or waiting for one of the paintings to talk again. She had seemed quite surprised when the painting had begun to talk, jumping in shock. It had caused Isaiah to wonder if she was a Muggleborn, who had never seen a painting before.
Taking his attention away from Maya, Isaiah began to study the room also, taking in every detail.
It was similar to a corridor, maybe a bit wider in length, with large, grey, unevenly-shaped blocks of rock stacked on top of each other for the walls, roof and floor. The roof curved up like an archway, supported by wooden beams. On the walls, there were many church-like windows, arched as well, with sunlight streaming in from outside. Between these windows were the armours and paintings. The armour was all the same, a tall statue of metal, with a pointed head-plate, or whatever you'd call it, and some even held swords in their grey hands. The paintings were all different, though. Some were dark and gothic, with stern-looking adults posing for the paintings, others were light and playful, with brightly-dressed children running around in a green meadow.
Looking at the paintings, Isaiah suddenly remembered what the painting in the trophy room had said about the paintings, and how there were many secrets hidden there. He told this to Maya.
"Do you think were should have a look at the paintings, like the girl in the picture said in the trophy room? Maybe see if there is anything hidden behind them?"

Isaiah asked Maya after they had both looked around the room a littleDo you think we should have a look at the paintings, like the girl in the picture said in the trophy room? Maybe see if there is anything hidden behind them?
She turned to face him “It sounds like there could be something hidden in or around the paintings if she wasn’t lying” Maya then looked up at the paintings one had stern looking adults another had young children laughing and running in fields, Maya thought about them coming to life and she didn’t want that to happen unexpectedly again “I’ll look at other things around the room and you look at the paintings there might be more than one place for hidden things”
Maya turned away from the boy and started properly looking around the room, there was a giant mirror with a gold framing around it and statues which she saw before all the statues were the same, a pointed helmet, chest plates, metal armour all over, and swords
Maya made her way over to the giant mirror admiring the gold detailing all around it it shimmered and shined brightly there were curves and bumps painted over with a gold shimmer she placed her hand over the side tracing over the side of it, she liked the mirror it looked expensive and like something she could never have that’s why she was spending so much time looking at it, she took her hand off realising she probably looked strange to the boy if he was looking in her direction and moved looking at herself in the mirror her curly blonde hair was falling over her shoulders and the bright yellow Hufflepuff tie, badge and under colour of the robe stood out against the deep black
Maya was surprised when she got into Hufflepuff she wasn’t quiet or extremely sweet like all the others she thought maybe Slytherin or Gryffindor a house that was tough or even Ravenclaw since she was creative with her drawing, she stopped thinking about her house and focused back on trying to find something hidden
She looked around the back of the mirror and noticed something odd, she tried to push the mirror to the side so she could see behind it “Hey Isaiah” she called still looking behind the mirror “I think I’ve found something here” She turned back around to face him

As the Hufflepuff turned away and started to look at the various objects around the room, Isaiah followed Maya's instructions and began to examine the paintings around the room.
The first one he went to was eerily strange. It was a portrait of a young boy, no older than Isaiah himself, with dark, tumbling curly locks, a large, long nose, pointed at the top, large, wide, pale eyes, and a face whiter than the teeth of actor's in toothpaste commercials. He barely moved, but his eyes followed Isaiah as he moved. While Isaiah was far from an art expert, he was pretty sure that it was an oil painting.
Feeling extremely awkward, Isaiah moved towards the painting, and gently lifted the corner of the painting's border, avoiding the boy's eyes. The painting didn't seem to mind, though, and kept quiet. There was nothing underneath, just rocks, and Isaiah put the painting back done, disappointed, and moved on.
Isaiah slowly drifted along the paintings, lifting them up, examining the paintings, even touching them, to see if he could move through them. It seemed like a silly thing to do, but you could never be too sure. The paintings were various, a huge spectrum. A women with a baby on her chest complained when Isaiah lifted her frame, and leopards tried to gnaw at his hands when he tried to put his hand through the painting. Which failed, by the way.
His favourite was another strange oil painting, but not in the same way as the first. It was a painting of a scenery of trees, a forest, somewhere north, with snow covering the ground like a blanket. The trees, pine trees, Isaiah guessed, were tall, with barely any branches, and hardly any green. It wasn't a normal painting though. It was disorientated, like the reflection you see in a lake. Alas, there was nothing there either.
Shortly after, he was called over by Maya.
“Hey Isaiah. I think I’ve found something here," she said. Isaiah turned. She was at a mirror, and he jogged over to meet her.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Expect the unexpected. And whenever possible, be the unexpected.”

Sorry it’s took me so long to reply
The boy jogged over to Maya from where he was looking at paintings and he curiously asked her what she had found, she was still trying to push the mirror when he came over “I think I see something behind here” she stood up straight and moved out of the way letting the boy take a look behind the mirror if he wanted to see what she was talking about
Maya moved to the other side of the mirror trying to pull it towards herself in an attempt to move it but it felt like somebody was pushing the other side to keep it in place or like it was glued down onto the ground
She sighed and moved back over to where the boy was stood “Can you try and move it?” She asked hoping he was stronger than her and he could hopefully move it or maybe they could try and move it together if he couldn’t,
“Or did you find anything else?” She asked looking at the boy Isaiah and then looking around the room at the paintings they were all so different, different painting styles, different stories in each frame, different characters they were beautiful to look at when they didn’t come to life.
They didn’t seem like there could be anything opening with them or behind them but maybe he hasn’t looked at them all yet, she turned back to the boy
