Ooo I've just made an account. I'd never heard of it but I'm a sucker for submitting scripts and stories (to then lose or run out of time in the end )

My last year story was an absolute train wreck but it definitely showed me my weaknesses as a writer and how much effort 50k actually is. I have a few communities that keep me chugging, and I’m pretty confident that the candy method will motivate me enough to finish

I'm still trying to get my passion for writing back after a pitiful few years. It's not that I don't enjoy it or anything, I just need to work on self discipline and focus. The ideas are there but I can never just sit and write/type. I'm hoping that this lil' exercise will help me

I wrote 30,000 ish words for a story I worked on consistently for a month but it fell to the back of the shelf when I was gearing up for uni. Shame... I had fun writing it...

Sadly I'm not sure if I would be able to find the time to do a project as massive as 50k words, but I might end up doing some of the smaller preptober tasks for fun anyway
