Task 1: Generating an idea
The story is set in a world similar yet different from ours. While the setting it similar as our Planet and the universe both magic and science exist interchangeably to some extent. Where highly advanced science is deemed Magic and highly Magic while following laws of the universe can too be studied like science. Mana existed and was a skill one could train to increase their pool similar to stamina or any other attribute.
Skilled mages with a Rank tier of 10 Can go so far as to even decipher magic and learn it's formula, thereby allowing them to not only learn magic upon seeing it but also deconstruct most magic before it can have effect. Rank 10 Mages however are spread far and wide, one's appearance is as rare as finding God themselves. So far there have been only three who have been able to ascend to that stage.
First being the First Elf queen, the mother of all Royal elves and the Betrothed to the divine tree [Tree is sentient and a guy and i'll think of it's name later] that all Elves get heir abilities from. Second one being the First Prince of all humanity, from Kingdom [To be thought of Later] who unlike most other humans chose to spread peace over all the kingdoms he chose to visit. Relinquishing his title at a young age and practicing magic in the most pacifying ways imaginable he built a connection with knowledge and nature so far ahead of any that existed or shall exist for centuries even after his Father grew his power from a tribe to one of the strongest human Empires in history and present. He's also considered the first mage to develop advanced healing magic though he credits a lot of it to the teachings of multiple other races.
Lastly the third known one being our Protagonist[Name tbd], One of the heirs to the same kingdom as the Mage before him, now Outcast and a ruler of his own kingdom Plunged into war against his own brethren in order to protect the races. While time has changed and the relations between humans and different species have changed for the worse. [Name tbd] still holds onto the right of freedom for everyone, partially the motivating factor in him establishing his own Kingdom with some secret help from the Princess of a renowned Empire.
A kingdom where Elves, Orcs, Dwarfs(who were comically giant but had the features of a dwarfs) and giants (who unlike physical description were giants as a race with the ability to buff their targets and spoke in shamanistic tongues, mostly choosing to meditate and not waste their words). A small part of world where the racism was not prevalent and slavery was abolished as a part of population used to be slaves, even one of [Name tbd]'s generals from the Elves.
With the rest of human kingdoms that saw this as heresy and choosing to instead demolish [Name tbd]'s kingdom in an all out assaults. He could only hold out for so long until "Humanity's champions" defeated his forces now in a gruesome battle with an enraged [Name tbd].
In conclusion as they manage to end his life, He felt himself being carried both in a cold as well as warm embrace. Waking up shirtless in an area filled with deep black darkness and water that only crossed above his ankles he checks his body, fully aware how the five of "Humanity's Champions" had bested him, ending his life. Before he could say a word, a large entity with a scythe over Ten feet tall appeared before him, heavy voice as deep to instill fear in anyone by just words. This appearance made him shut up before he could even utter a word.
The entity instead of saying words or giving him info snapped his fingers as [Name tbd] felt a branding being set on his back as voices from two higher beings instantly entered his mind. One a male sounding voice while the other a female one. Both witness of his deeds and reminding him of their connection to his lineage. One the God of Time [Name will think later] and another the Goddess of Death [Name tbd fr fr later time]. Both who had seen this cycle spread out multiple times over the years and had finally gathered enough energy to grant him boons. While the goddess granted him dominion over Death, the god of time's gift remained unknown.
With the boons of two gods too heavy to bear, even in the dreamlike scenario [Name tbd] fainted only to wake up back when he was 16, decades before everything that happened. With the things he had been through he believed it to be a trick from his enemies or perhaps the gods trying to entertain themselves until he stepped outside. Reviewing the area outside the house he used to reside in with his master. Seeing his master once again brought years of held back emotions as the nostalgia wave hit him. Settling into the reality that he was truly back in time. [Name tbd] now had a chance at stopping everything that happened and the knowledge of future to go with it.

Task 2 Part A: World Building

Where is your story set? This task is looking for you to describe the setting of your story. Even if your setting is the world we live in today, it can really help to have a solid understanding of where your story is set and how that influences the choices your character may have to make. You can zoom in onto a city/town/village where your story takes place, or if you're feeling ambitious, explore creating your own world and describe how life works there. This task has a word count minimum of 200, and for completing it, you can earn 1 house point.
The story is set in a world identical to ours with the exception of modern technology. Both magic and science exist interchangeably to some extent. Where highly advanced science is deemed Magic and highly Magic while following laws of the universe can too be studied like science. Mana exists and is a skill one could train to increase their pool similar to stamina or any other attribute. Multiple races have different base stats for mana and the likes. Elves and dryards have some of the highest mana usability with Orcs being the worst at storing, regenerating or using it. They also have some of the worst Mana resistance and fall prey easily to it if without the use of an aura around them, one either made by them or infused to them temporarily by someone else. However while Mana can be grown and increased by practice most are unable to do it simply stay stuck in the mana tier they were born with.
With techniques to increase mana and ascend tiers being gatekept and different techniques guarded secretly among families or sects it is extensively hard to find a technique to raise them with no teacher. Final Stage that goes above even a rank 10 mage is someone who's able to gather mana and concentrate it passively ascending their rank with no extra care. No one has yet reached this except being read in prophecies or theorized as a hypothetical.
However there's an abundance of artifacts that either provide similar abilities or feats. Along with other abilities being taught by various private teachers or academies and universities.
Two school of thoughts being Warriors and Mages mainly. Where one focuses on physical training while the other on magical. These are base tier roles that further have their own classifications that come with skills. While these are the ones mostly used in Human armies. Multiple Magical Swordsmen exist and so do other variants that specialize in other skills.
There's rumors of an oracle group among the dryads who can gaze into the various fractions of time and hypothesize days to come. Some even say that the Elven tree that pierced even heaven was a sentient being.
Our story takes place across the whole Planet [which i'll explain on the way later because not thought enough yet, needs to be fleshed]. With all these multiple races their own grievances are sure to occur along with their vices as discussed in the post above.
Wrapping this post, other entities exist too, those who can transcend time and space and can feel out the changes being made to it in real time.

Task 2 Part B: Character Creation

Who is the character(s) of significance in your story? This task is looking for you to describe the character(s) in your story. Well-developed characters can help to engage readers and make them invested in the story you are telling. Good things to focus on are appearance and why (for example, if they have constantly messy hair, why is it always messy?), interests, character strengths and flaws, and motivations for why they make the choices they make in your story. This task has a word count minimum of 200, and for completing it, you can earn 1 house point.
These are the character i have thought of yet. Think of them as the main cast, will definitely add more as time passes and i grow with the plot.
- The Lead: The Unknown heir to a kingdom that now stands as one of Humanity's greatest Empire. Same empire is very supremacist and considers all races except Humans to be lesser. With slavery of other races and other dark secrets his ancestors (The Mage) mentioned in the beginning of the story decided to step away, choosing to be more than a flag bearer of hate, and rather spread around peace and harmony. The ML starts of in his original timeline as a Student with the worst body for physical tasks or swordsmanship and martial arts, but the mind for Magic so brilliant he could decipher magic on the go but also deconstruct it before it took effect. With his skill and wit, he began his time as a ruler at the age of 21 when he settled with a group of outcast humans who dared to talk about freedom for all races and were kicked out from seemingly all human empires. There he started a tribe which with time grew into a Whole Kingdom as it slowly became a long standing symbol for freedom and equality for all races and a safe harbor for those discriminated.
Alas the peace was short kept as around the age of 37 his kingdom got attacked by the forces of all human kingdoms combined with religion backing them as they deemed him and his kingdom Satanic , with all their forces combined and 6 of Humanity's might champions his small kingdom could not stand against them for too long until he lost his life. Only to wake up 2 decades back at the age of 17. (see how it happened in the first post.) With the memories of his first life and the knowledge he had acquired. he sets out to make changes from the beginning and decides to make different decisions to sustain the future he hopes he can bring again.- The Princess : The Princess of another Human Empire, The female lead, and the catalyst to all the events in our ML's plans as she loans him her authority to set up things and everything. Hiding beliefs for equal rights that she's scared to bring to surface hoping to not lose her title and potential crown. Her one weakness that stands out the most are her Feelings of brotherly love for her sibling.(more on him below). Someone who is already too deep in the trenches to be saved yet she can't help but not want to give up on someone she grew up with and wishes to save at all cost. Even her life. A strong mage in her own right but an even better tactician with her diplomacy skills something she was prepared for since birth. Only thorn remaining in her ascension to throne being her "Brother". Eventually someone who dies on the battlefield when the "outer being" gathers enough ability to form into a being and step food into our reality within a body strong enough to even hold his existence.
- Antagonist: Can not reveal much about him rn, except him being the sibling of the FL and a major catalyst for spread and increase in diseases and misery among humans and other races alike. Someone power thirsty enough to lose themselves in search of it. Going as far as to give everything up for it, quite literally everything. Perhaps a misguided being or an actual psychopath with a god complex.
- The Mage [Will give him a better name later]: The first of humans to reach Rank 10 as a mage, something that was thought of as a thing of legends. Left his royal life aside as a very young age to roam the world but never got officially kicked from the royal family. One of the few humans to not gatekeep his knowledge while also being revered witthin most races as a friendly face. Lived upto 200 yrs and then vanished in mysterious circumstances. Now believed to be deceased.
- [Elven tree that is rumored to have come from heaven itself]: Sentient Tree that used to be the De-Facto king of the elven kind after the Queen herself. Father of all first 6 elven royal houses and more. The eternal protector of Elves in their kingdom of [Name will figure out later]. Has control over greenery as deep as his roots may reach. Some believes his roots reach hell while the branches touch heaven. Source of all extra Elven magic. Possesses ability to boost someone's mana several folds due to being a godly being. One of the beings that transcend time and can see the changes made in it or atleast feel them. His death and the poisoning of lake around him set forth the events of elven kind being weakened enough to be forced into slavery with huge part of their civilization destroyed.
- Queen of Elves: Mother to the kids of the tree up above,(forgot to mention, imagine the tree guy as a Maui from Moana when he takes a humanoid appearance in his tree trunk to have conversations. Queen infused her mana with the tree/King and from the flowers that bloomed came the royal clans of the elves. First Non godly being to reach Rank 10 among mages and the only one to do so for several decades. A just and righteous queen now bedridden from the poison in their lake and her husband gone for decades. His absence made elven magic grow weaker as time passed. Still existing with two direct descendants of hers, a pair of twin girl and boy the have recently grown to human equivalent of 20 and wishes to see succeed her while bringing the glory of elfs back. Also wishes to either bring back her husband or meet him in the lands beyond.
- [The Elf princess]: One of ML's general, more info can't be revealed yet, except she's among the few elves who can still use a bit of magic due to her lineage.
- [A Red Orc]: ML's other general, Will write about him when i get to expand on orcs and their races. However important lore : Red orcs are product of recessive traits thus he has A smaller body as compared to those his race and green but possesses enough magic knowledge to generate aura shield around him rendering weak magic of no effect to him while being several folds stronger than normal orcs(who in comparison are severely stronger than human even with aura)
- [Dwarf's Leader]: The main advisor to ML and strategist, Old but wise. Unlike other dwarfs, can't grow a beard and is balding. One of the few people to figure out ML got sent back in time.
- Mykaroth : Hush hush important woman can't say more
