A small smirked appeared on her face when he realized what she'd just proposed. Shaking some hair from her eyes, she looked up at him, shifting her weight to one hip and crossed her arms over her stomach, "I didn't stutter, did I?" she asked, pulling a phrase her mother often did whenever Illowy questioned something she was asked to do.
The girl gave a small tilt of her head, "If it means so much to you to make it up to me, then you can be my practice dummy." the girl decided. Surely the boy wouldn't be that stupid to agree to her ridiculous terms. The Slytherin would expect that even he would have some sense of self preservation, even in the most primitive of instincts. After all, he didn't seem to her like he was entirely dense. She wondered if he would try to call her bluff, but her face certainly would suggest that she was entirely serious about the proposal.
Still smirking, the girl rose a brow as she waiting his response, already formulating what to say if he decided to accept or decline her stipulation; determined to get him to cave one way or another. Perhaps that part of it was mean, but it was simply a bruise to the ego. She wouldn't actually harm him.

The boy watched as a smirk appeared in the corner of her face, with what it seemed like to him; a small moment of realization. A small thought popped into his head. She's up to something... He ignored it. Ill be fine. He thought back to himself. He looked back at her as she shook the hair off of her eyes. She moved and crossed her arms again.
She tilted her head a little and told him;
Mason was left with two options. Neither of them were very good either. Mason could agree to her extreme terms and potentially look like an idiot in a courtyard full of people, or he could decline and try to negotiate something more reasonable with the girl. Mason is normally a very honest person and never one to lie.
This is one of those times that might save him some trouble. Here goes nothing..
"Okay, I accept to your terms." He said, instantly nervous. "How do you want to do it?" He felt his face heat up.
She said, with her arms still crossed. Smiling, he thought She sounds a bit like my mum.. He held back a laugh."I didn't stutter, did I?"
She tilted her head a little and told him;
A genuine laugh escaped his mouth and he quickly covered his mouth with his hand, he looked at her with wide eyes. Does she really take me as this much of an idiot? Or is she the idiot, and she's serious?"If it means so much to you to make it up to me, then you can be my practice dummy."

The gears were working in his mind, she could tell. He was trying to analyze her, trying to figure out if she was bluffing or if she had full intention to blow him across the field if he just gave her the word. She supposed it would all come down to the sort of person he was; be it brave and trusting, or self preserving. Part of her couldn't wait to see which side he fell on, nearly positive that anyone with half a mind would rather keep themselves in one piece and unharmed then willingly put themselves in harm's way.
Then he made up his mind.
Then he made up his mind.
Part of her was genuinely surprised that he agreed, but she was careful not to let it show on her face for even an instant, "C'mon. We'll save you some pride." she lifted a hand to wave him to follow her. Assuming he did follow, she started away from the court yard towards a more out of sight part of the grounds where there were less people to gather around to watch the show. Illowy would get him to crack. She was sure of it. There was no way in heaven or hell he would actually let her cast the jinx at him... right?"Okay, I accept to your terms."
I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

As Mason dangerously accepted her proposal, it hit him like a train. There's no backing out now. (his conscience spoke to him in a rather alarmed voice)
The boy who has no experience talking to children his age had just agreed to letting a girl he just met, and doesnt know the name of throw him across the courtyard.
If shes still bluffing then bloody hell she can keep a straight face.. He noticed beads of sweat forming on his face, the stress in this situation was getting to him, but the sun's harsh Ray's didnt help either.
She started walking, quickly away from the open courtyard. At least she has good left in her, better to do it away from the people rather than make me a fool in front of all the students out here..
I'll have to cave at some point, she must be faking it! I'll catch her off guard. I will.

The girl said, still with a smirk on her face. With a wave of her hand, she gestured for Mason to follow her. He followed, and wiped his forehead. I look like an idiot right now. Following her every command because of some favor. I feel like a dog. Some hound following her around like this. Next thing you know she'll be giving me a bone."C'mon w'ell save you some pride."

Illowy easily twirled her wand through thin fingers as she lead the boy out of sight from the other student. Years of practice with her paint brushes and drawing pencils made the task of twirling the long piece of mayhaw simple, just as well it had become a trademark of when the girl was thinking. She wondered how far he was going to allow her to take this.
From the corner of her eye, she saw him wipe at his face, and she couldn't help but wonder if it was the warm spring sun causing him a sweat or pure nerves. The snake liked to think it was the latter. She would teach him a small lesson that one oughtn't be so eager, so pressing, to do someone a favor after they'd already turned the offer down.
Once Illowy had settled on a place, she gave one last flourish of her wand before dropping her bag at her feet and turning to the Huffle boy, "On with you, now." she nodded, gesturing with her wand in the general direction she wished for him to stand for this little practice run.
Icy hues studied around them, partially to make for certain that there wasn't any prying eyes on them, and partially to decide on what would be her true target if he allowed her to go as far as to execute the jinx, "Nervous are you, Mason?" the child questioned, not giving a thought to the fact that while she knew his name, he had no inkling of her's. Not that that much mattered by this point.

As Mason thought to himself, he walked with the girl, He watched as she twirled her wand through her fingers effortlessly. I wonder if she is trying to taunt me with that..Slytherins, Mason scoffed a bit under his breath. He finished with his thoughts and continued with the girl as they walked away from the crowded courtyard and approached a more secluded space outside.
Mason couldn't help but to think about the possible outcomes of the situation he was in. Im in a bloody mess..She might throw me across the courtyard if I let her..If she's serious.. Or not, she could just be trying to make me look like more of a fool than I already do. He seemed to wake up from his inner thoughts and noticed he was behind her quite a bit. He picked up his pace.
The girl stopped. So this is where it will happen..or not I guess. The girl flicked her wand one last time, then dropped her backpack (which was still extremely full of art supplies) at her feet.
She then turned to Mason,
He looks around one last time at his surroundings, noticing that no one was around. No one would notice if she just blasted him across the grounds. Mason was so entranced in his thoughts and anxious about this situation that her next question caught him off guard.
The girl spoke calmly asking him,
The boy realized what he had just confessed, and he quickly covered his mouth with his hands. You had one chance Mason, One. Idiot. He let out a sigh under his breath.

She said, sternly and blunt. She gave him a nod and gestured with her wand in front of her. He walked an appropriate pace away from her and his disguise gave way. Mason felt, as his hands start to shake and his face turns beet red."On with you now."

His expression didn't go unnoticed from her keen eye. The girl was watching him the way a cat watched a field mouse before it pounced. His hand had lost their steadiness, blood was rushing to his face.
He was breaking.
She would break him.
All this trouble just to do a favor. Perhaps he'll actually learn to take no for an answer after this. The snake thought to herself. Surely he couldn't truly think this was a reasonable way to 'make up' for upsetting her; she certainly wouldn't conciser it reasonable. After all, Illowy liked to think of herself as fairly reasonable for her age. Had she overreacted a bit to the whole incident? Surely. She'd been embarrassed and her go to method had been to do whatever she had to do to get the other to loose interest in her so she might flee.
However, at this point, reason wasn't part of the conversation anymore. It had grown beyond reason and turned into something entirely different.
He was breaking.
She would break him.
And there it was. The confession she needed in order to be sure he was learning the express lesson she was wanting him to take from this little interaction, "You're free to back out whenever you want to, boyo." the girl pressed her lips in a tight line before rolling them in a purse as she took proper stance with her wand. Her eyes looked him up and down once more, trying to decide if he would cave or not. For a slit moment, she glanced just passed him, spotting what would become her true target if he let her proceed."Yeah how could I not be when you're about to throw me across the courtyard."

You're such an idiot. Why did I say that? The boy's conscience scolded him for his idiotic mistake. He looked at her face; calm and content. He noticed a different look on her face almost instantaneously after his remark. She seemed like something finally went her way.
The girl smiled a bit,
"Back out?-"
He stood, still flustered from her sudden quip.
"I'm not going to back out.."
He trailed off, not sure of what else to say.
He watched her, as she stood there calmly watching him. She had her wand in hand, occasionally twirling it between her fingers. As he stood there, still taller than the girl by a couple of inches, he still felt smaller. As if she had way more hold on his situation (which in fact she did). He was in her hands if she chose to send the boy flying across the yard, so be it. If not, then he would be spared and on his way. He pondered what her actions may be and stood in his place.
The girl smiled a bit,
Back out? Why would I back out now? The stubborn boy thought to himself. By now, any other regular boy would have fled, But Mason stood considering choices that he had already considered. By now anyone would know what his final decision would be."You're free to back out anytime you want to, boyo."

Illowy suppressed the need to roll her eyes as he stood his ground. Stubborn; that was for sure.
The girl looked him over once more, a smirk still on her lips as she gave one last flourish of her wand before taking her stance, "Whatever ye' say."
Gathering her focus to her true target, the girl's wand traced through the air as she spoke, "Flippendo!" the blast erupted from the tip of her wand, racing right past him towards a boulder a couple yards behind him, shifting the massive rock back only a foot or two. Not that it much mattered. The point hadn't been to actually hurt the boy.
Lowering her wand, her cold eyes shifting back to Mason, the girl started towards him, "Believe me, I didn't have to miss." she spoke, almost in a warning tone. Once more, her wand began twirling through her fingers effortlessly, "I don't know if you're brave or stupid or some messed up mixture of the two, but you're lucky I'm not like some other people around you that would've blown you off into the Great Lake to be eaten by the bloody squid." she lectured, crossing her arms over her stomach, "But you'd be wise to learn when its time to back down."

The foolish boy watched as the girl looked him up and down, a small smirk formed on her face. He could tell that she was judging him and he didn't like it. He shifted around on his feet.
With a strong Irish accent and a flick of her wand, she simply stated;
All of a sudden she spoke out the one word that could lead to his demise,
After a moment, he heard something smash behind him. He quickly opened his eyes and looked behind him, noticing a boulder laying on its side smoking. He was about to say some quip about needing practice when she spoke in a stern voice.
Again, she spoke in that same, calm warning tone;
She crossed her arms and looked at him, almost disappointingly. She has no sympathy for me. He thought.

He watched the girl as she started to focus on her target, but something seemed off about it. He shrugged it off and glanced back at her. Her striking pale blue eyes seeming to look right through him. He shuddered both from the look of them and from his sudden anxiousness."Whatever 'ye say."
All of a sudden she spoke out the one word that could lead to his demise,
Moments, before she said the word, in spite of his dangerous situation the boy did something out of reflex that was a new feeling to him-he shrunk his shoulders, (breaking posture) squinted his face, and put his arms out in front of him (to block what? a force of magic coming at him? not quite something he could out physically block himself from..). He cowered in slight panic/fear from this spell. He surely thought he was going to be shot across the courtyard."Flippendo!"

"I..." He couldn't get any words out. He was still in shock from the state of fear she just put him in. He watched with his mouth still open, as she still effortlessly flipped her wand through her fingers."Believe me, I didn't have to miss."
Again, she spoke in that same, calm warning tone;
Mason gulped, and fixed his posture, standing up straight. He looked back at her ad tried again to say something. His mouth was dry and his tongue felt like sandpaper. He was extremely embarrassed, and a little annoyed at the stunt she had pulled on him. Of course, she didn't do it, why would she? She probably just wanted some fun. Embarrass the "helpless little Hufflepuff". Bloody hell, I only wanted to help. Last time I try to do anything nice for a bloody Slytherin, He thought to himself and scoffed under his breath.I don't know if you're brave or stupid or some messed up mixture of the two, but you're lucky I'm not like some other people around you that would've blown you off into the Great Lake to be eaten by the bloody squid."

She said, trying to get the last word in. She succeded, as Mason had no response to her."But you'd be wise to learn when its time to back down."
