─────Elvenia was wandering on the fourth floor after her classes, her mind drifting from one thought to another when she heard some music coming from the ballroom. Curious, she headed towards the sound. As she peeked inside she saw something surprising, a big, colorful banner on the wall that said, "Happy 12th Birthday Aria!"

With curiosity Elvenia stepped inside, her blue eyes scanning the room and there, sitting by herself under the banner was Aria.

“Aria! Its you!” Elvenia exclaimed, a bright smile lighting up her face. “Wait...its your birthday today?” She looked up at the banner again and back at Aria. “I can't believe I didn’t know!” Her expression softened as she walked further into the room, taking in the decorations. “You didn’t tell anyone, did you?”

Elvenia approached Aria, her hands behind her back feeling slightly sheepish. “I don’t have a present for you..” she admitted, biting her lip. “If I had known, I would have definitely brought something. But hey! At least I can be here to celebrate with you now!”

The room felt a little more cheerful suddenly. Elvenia was really excited to make Aria's birthday really special and wanted to make sure that they had fun on this special occasion, of course! Elvenia’s surprise quickly shifted to excitement for Aria, though it was clear Aria had been waiting alone for a while. Elvenia’s heart softened, knowing how it must feel to spend a birthday far from home.
Elvenia moved closer to the banner, admiring the effort Aria had put into it. “This is lovely, by the way.” she said, gesturing to the decorations.

Elvenia sat down, ready to share in whatever birthday fun Aria had planned, determined to make sure her friend’s day was special after all.
"So, what should we do first?"

Aria! Its you!

Aria whipped her head around. A buzz of excitement went through her as she saw her friend Elvenia Moonshadow walk through the entrance of the ballroom.

Wait...its your birthday today? I can't believe I didn’t know!

Aria watched as Elvenia's expression softened. She must have noticed that there was no one else here... Aria must look like such a loser right now! Elvenia spoke in a very nice kind tone like always though, which made Aria feel a little better. Elvenia explained that she didn't know it was Aria's birthday, hence why she didn't get Aria a present. How could Aria blame her though? Aria didn't really go out of her way to tell anyone it was her birthday. Plus she would have felt guilty if Elvenia bought her a present.

Elvenia!!! You never have to buy me a present!! I'm just so happy your here to celebrate with me. I haven't really met to many people in these two weeks at Hogwarts, so I didn't really know who to invite...

Aria realized she never really considered inviting Elvenia and immediately felt guilty. Elvenia was so kind to her and was a fellow eagle!

So, what should we do first?

Aria looked around the ballroom awkwardly. Now what? There was no one else here. Aria searched the ballroom for an answer to Elvenia's question until her eyes landed on a box of cookies.

How about a treat?

─────Ruby was walking through the corridors of Hogwarts. It had been really noisy in the Common Room, and she felt she was getting overwhelmed with everything else going on. She needed to get out of there for a while, clearing her head. She had picked up Nibs, as he liked to go on a stroll with her. Normally she would go outside, clear her head with a walk over the grounds. But today it wouldn’t be possible. It was raining to hard at the moment, so she had to settle for a stroll through Hogwarts. She had reached the fourth floor, and absentmindedly walked on, not really registering what was in front of her. She passed an open room, and a few steps further her mind had registered music coming from the door. She paused and looked back, debating whether to go and take a look or to just walk on. Let’s just take a peep through the door. Nibs put his head out of her hoody to take a look what was going on. Silently, Ruby approached the door of the ballroom and looked inside. She saw the big and bright banner against the wall, and two students standing under it. The banner said “Happy 12th birthday Aria”, and this took Ruby by surprise. She recognised fellow Shade Aria, and now couldn’t go back. She decided to go in and let the others know she was there. Aria, I didn’t know it was your birthday. Are you throwing a party? She looked around but saw no other guests in the room except from another Ravenclaw girl. Is it guests only? Or do you have room for Nibs and me to participate? She hoped it wasn’t too bold of her to invite herself to the party of someone else. But seeing the girl, she had a feeling she would be welcome. Slowly, she walked up to the girls, smiling.
