First day, First magic apprehension

It was the first time that Aëlys had gone to a platform like this.

Alone, because his parents had left him after driving him on track 9 3/4 (Aëlys still couldn't believe he had managed to cross a brick wall).

Through the hustle and bustle of the crowd, Aëlys tried in vain to find a familiar face.

The young man sighed. Why didn't his parents stay with him until the end? The fact that they had to pick up Crystal from school didn't seem like a good enough reason in Aëlys' eyes.

The Irishman sighed once more:

- I'm never going to get out of this

Hundreds, maybe thousands, of wizards were laughing and talking among themselves. Aëlys felt terribly uncomfortable.

- Pff... how do I do it?!

Only silence answered him. The young man thought that he should have listened to his mother more when she spoke to him about the magical world, instead of staying with his father (who was a Muggle), and listening to her tell him that he would form his own opinion...

Moreover, his half-blood status deeply worried Aëlys. What if we made fun of him? There would surely be people who would come and bother him because of that!

Aëlys, the beating heart, was terribly torn between the fear of the unknown and the happiness of having been admitted to Hogwarts.

First day, First magic apprehension
Hashline had been to the station before, as a child. She often traveled with her parents, they had the means to go to new destinations almost every vacation. But surprisingly, earlier, they had told him to run into a brick wall on the platform. At first she thought it was a bad joke before seeing a young man around her age, with black hair, rush and disappear into the wall.

The fact that she's a witch still confuses her a little. Despite her certain apprehension, she grabbed her luggage cart and ran straight into the wall, closing her eyes.

When she opened them again she found herself on another view, a new platform where she had never been. She searched in vain for the boy but could not find him. Hogwarts was a new adventure for Hashline, a beautiful adventure, full of magic, friendship and renewal.

Classes didn't scare her, she was always a good student, she was quite popular in Muggle school and she knew how to pierce you with her blue eyes. Hashline is a wizard-born, but others are not necessarily, there were Half-Bloods, people born to muggles and wizards, or even Muggle-borns, those who were born to two muggle parents, but who have wizards in their family. Such a mixture could only fully be found at Hogwarts, and Hashline was looking forward to it.

First day, First magic apprehension
Aëlys, lost in the blur of her thoughts, standing in the middle of the surrounding crowd, wondered if anyone could tell her about Hogwarts.

The young man looked around to see if anyone could tell him what he wanted to know...

Train departure times, names of houses he couldn't remember, names of witches' treats, etc.

Aëlys noticed a few solitary students, who seemed much taller than him.

There's no chance he'll see them. Rather die!

The Irishman continues his research:

- That's not true... there must be someone to tell me!

Aëlys sighed before seeing a young red-haired girl who seemed to be her age.

She seemed unaccompanied, which was rather good, because Aëlys would have been ashamed of her life asking an adult for something.

The young man therefore headed towards this girl. Once he reached her, he asked her in a somewhat distant tone:

- Please tell me... could you tell me about Hogwarts? I don't want to be dumped when we get to the castle.

Aëlys realized with a second delay that he had spoken in a distant tone, as usual (the young man was not very sociable) and that what's more, he had not introduced himself.

- Um... my name is Aëlys if you want to know... I don't am very sociable. Sorry said the Irishman a second later.

Hashline looked desperately for the boy. In the midst of all these people older than her, she felt completely lost. Some of them jostled her - without doing it on purpose of course - but since she had gotten lost in the crowd, number of times she had almost fallen. During a general lull on the platform, she saw the Hogwarts Express. A magnificent, magical steam locomotive train. Admiring the work, she almost forgot the other people around it. her. She thought she would not see the young boy again before the distribution ceremony or me on the train. With this idea, she walked tilidly towards the train at the platform. But as she advanced and she did not was more than a few meters from the Hogwarts Express. A young, somewhat masculine voice reached his ears. And when she saw who was speaking to her, she widened her eyes. The boy she had lost sight of had approached her! If that's not destiny!

He asked her for details about Hogwarts before introducing himself shyly.

Ah uh, ok. Aëlys is very beautiful, I think! So what do you want to know? First of all, Hogwarts is a magic school located somewhere in Scotland. There are 4 houses, sort of classes. Gryffindor, the home of the brave! Or Slytherin, that of the cunning! Hufflepuff, that of the artists, and finally Ravenclaw! Those of the workers. But I warn you, the way in which you will be left will be somewhat... original!

With all that, she had forgotten to introduce herself courteously.

Oh, and my name is Hashline ! I'm a Wizard-Born, and I'm going to do my first year at Hogwarts there

Aëlys started to blush, not getting a direct answer. When the young girl spoke, Aëlys was speechless with relief.

The young man listened conscientiously to the young girl, happy to be able to learn new things.

Yes, indeed, Gryffindor meant something to him. Slytherin too. On the other hand, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, Aëlys had forgotten everything that had been said to her about it.

Stressed, the young man ran his hand through his black hair before smiling at Hashline, who had finally introduced herself.

- Ah ok, so there's Gryffindor, Slytherin... the Irishman thought for a few moments, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff?

Aëlys was almost sure that he had scratched the names of the last two houses.

- And, what are purebloods and muggle bloods?

The young man interrupted himself, before continuing:

- Do we do level classes? Or is it per house?

The young man stops and listens to the sound of the footsteps of the other wizards.

Then, he saw what had been before his eyes for several moments already.

There were no words to describe the train in front of him.

Huge, blood red dotted with black, the titanic machine in front of him was... magnificent.

- Wow... is that the Hogwarts Express?

Aëlys was surprised that few people were amazed by the train.

If Theo could see that! He would dream about it for days and nights! He who dreamed of being a mechanic could not have dreamed of a more beautiful project.
