Aëlys wandered through the corridors, with a light heart. The young first year had feared harder classes, but the reality suited him.
The young Ravenclaw smiled before remembering everything that had happened since he learned to be a wizard.
First of all, arriving at track 9 3/4, Aëlys was afraid of not being able to ask anyone questions, before coming across a girl from her class, Hashline.
The young flying fox answered his questions without any problem and boarded the train with him.
Arriving at Hogwarts, the young man was sorted into Ravenclaw. He would have preferred Slytherin, but he had been forced to sit with the blues, while Hashline joined the Gryffindors.
A few weeks later, Aëlys had made friends with another Gryffone, Kora Eliot, and a Hufflepuff, Ryann Tsistinas.
Aëlys smiled as she wondered what her life had in store for her, while walking with a light heart through the corridors.
The young man did not immediately notice that he had taken the wrong path.
The corridors looked so similar, and the castle was so big!
Aëlys sighed and went back in the opposite direction (the one he came from).
The eaglet watched the other students advance, knowing very well where they were going.
The Irishman finally realized that he was lost.
If only he could run into Ryann or Kora to ask for directions!

A real friendship
Kora had been following some older years that she had been going in what she hoped was the right direction to her class but her mind was else where mostly focused on not forgetting anything she might need for her classes, she had checked and double checked that she had everything earlier that morning but worry still slithered into her mind she hated it it felt like tentacles she pushed it to the side she wanted to focus on other things like the book she just read.
As she walked she wondered where they Ravenclaw boy she met was in her class or if he wasn’t lost somewhere ‘he’s smart’ she thought ‘he’ll find his way maybe’ very quickly her mind was drawn back to the real world as she though she spotted Aëlys in the bustle of students.
After a quick mental debate she chose to go see if it was. Walking agents the sea of people getting closer she saw that it was in fact him. He looked slightly puzzled she wondered why. Still making her way though the crowed she thought maybe to call his name but would he hear over the crowed?
She supposed he could if he listened hard enough so she called “Aëlys! Over here”

A real friendship
Aëlys tried to scan the crowd, while wondering if he would eventually find someone to ask for directions.
The Ravenclaw briefly caught a glimpse of hair that resembled Kora's.
While trying to find this person to ensure their identity, Aëlys realized that he had lost sight of them.
It was a cry that caught his attention. The young man approached the source of the noise, then a smile lit up his face when he saw Kora.
- Kora! You are here ! I've been looking for you ever since!
Aëlys smiles, happy to find the Gryffone, knowing that he could ask her where to go.
The Ravenclaw smiled before asking the Gryffone:
- Are you okay? after all, as he was with an acquaintance/friend, Aëlys could well sacrifice time to talk to him! He wasn't late.
The young man smiled while waiting for Kora's response.
A mixture of hope and embarrassment emanated from Ravenclaw's boy.
He who had never liked talking to people, who he didn't know, was talking to a girl he had only seen once.
Aëlys was certain that Kora found him lost and too "cute", like all people who had to do with little ones.
The Ravenclaw finally spoke again to ask:
- What year are you?
The boy was stressed, because he doesn't know the year school number of Kora.

Kora smiled widely as Aëlys came over she quickly looked him up and down to see if anything was wrong lucky there wasn’t, even though she had only met him once before she had the odd sense of protection over him. It might just be that the Ravenclaws are known for being like birds grate but fragile.Looking at him now she thought he looked a lot like a robin calm and oblivious she liked robins but this wasn’t the time to wonder off on that thought.
“Oh yes I’m fine thank you and you”
Kora said adjusting her robes it was habit of hers to fiddle with things when talking to people, she ought to have grown out of it but here she was fixing her shirt. She wondered if he would notice
Hopefully not he might think it’s weird.
Once again she fond her mind wondering she tried to focus on what he was saying
“first”
She said then it hit her what year was he in? She better ask just in case
“And what about you what year are you in?”

Aëlys smiled upon hearing Kora's response. It was so like him to be good all the time!
The young Ravenclaw smiled. He wondered for a moment why seeing a friend put him in such a state.
Maybe because he was happy to see her again? In any case, Aëlys was sure of one thing, he was happy when Kora was there.
The young man blushed slightly when he saw her put the strap of her dress back on. He immediately tried to calm down.
Little by little, he was at peace again. With all that, the Irishman had almost forgotten to listen to the Gryffone's response.
- Oh, I'm a first year too.
Aëlys began to question again the feelings that Kora provoked in him.
He was pretty sure it had nothing to do with love... although... he had felt something like that towards Katalina...
In short, it was better to think of something else rather than that, to avoid making a fool of yourself.
And let's admit that he fell in love with Kora, nothing was less certain than the fact that it was reciprocal!
The young man looked at Kora, with his piercing eagle eyes.
The Gryffone didn't have the physique of the people Aëlys loved... and then, they had only been friends for a few weeks.
Maybe within two days, Kora would have forgotten who Aëlys was. Perhaps even the Gryffone had not thought of the young Ravenclaw since their meeting.
There were far too many possibilities to hypothesize.
So the Ravenclaw kept his thoughts to himself, and closed his mouth before he could say something he would regret.

A real friendship
Kora looked at him again looking him up and down slowly at his robes the way the looked on him at his hair how soft it looked at his face his smiling happy face. She restrained herself from ruffling his hair it was a challenge but somehow she managed it she continued to fiddle with her shirt moving to fiddle with the end of her tie her other hand holding the strap of her book bag the students hurried around them the corridor was a little noisy making it harder for kora to focus on what he was saying.
“How’s your day going”
She says not wanting the conversation to end so soon, not wanting to have to stop being around Aëlys not that she needed him right?
She could be fine with having to part ways here to go to classes..
It was all to confusing to her how could a boy she had only met one other time be plaguing her mind like this. If she was being honest he hadn’t left her mind since the first time they met ‘don’t do anything stupid don’t do anything stupid’ she thought as she looked at him not quite in the eye.

Aëlys smiled as she noticed for the first time the tiny movements that Kora was making, tickling the ends of her tie and her dress.
The Ravenclaw wondered inwardly what was stopping him from rushing to her and kissing her.
The young man immediately removed this stupid thought from his head. What a fool he was to think of that!
Yes, Kora was beautiful, and even rather magnificent, but Aëlys remembered Katalina too well to think about falling in love again.
- My day is going well... I get a little lost in the corridors but hey... could you point me to the Great Hall? We have 20 minutes before classes start again and I would like to spend them there...
The young man held his breath for a few moments, and when his face was perfectly pink, he blurted out:
- With you if you want...
All red, Aëlys sighed inwardly. Kora was going to find him ridiculous!
By the time she answered, Aëlys allowed herself to think about Katalina.
With her ash blonde hair and her brown eyes that made him melt.
He allowed himself to tell himself that he missed his old girlfriend more than he wanted to admit, and that he would give anything to even see her again.
Even if she didn't love him anymore...even if their last discussion had been filled with crying and screaming.
Aëlys thought back to the feeling he had had when he felt his heart breaking.
Ravenclaw knew everything that could happen if he fell in love with Kora...
And he wasn't really sure he'd be able to pay the price.

"I'd love to"
Kora responded quickly she then paused for a moment wondering if her reply was to quick she didn't want him to think she was too eager, well she was but he didn't need to know that. She hadn't given it a second thought hanging out with him it wasn't like she needed to if she had made a friend why wouldn't she want to spend time with them.
"a little crowded here don't you thing i would have thought a school of magic people would have a system for these things"
she stepped a little closer to him so she wasn't getting pushed around so much she moved her hair out her face it was getting annoying her hair even though it was short after a moment she mover her arms up to tie her hair up in a half up half down look the shorter bits at the front tucked behind her ears.
"that's better" she said not knowing why she said it out loud but she had so she had to deal with it. Her heart was once again a drum beating to the rhythm of unknown music, it might have been impulse or just a brain malfunction that finally let her ruffle his hair when she did she laughed at how his hair was now messy and sticking up
