Ravenclaw v Slytherin Quidditch Game Finished

Still a tie. That was insulting at the very least. Koko wanted to hit someone. Hitting people seemed to take the anger out of her - oh, or hitting something, so that she didn't get in trouble. But still, this was one of those times where she actually could hit someone without any repercussions except for a bit of hate. So she eyed her target. She hopped off of Elena's broom and back onto hers, which was still stationary in the air, and she straddled it carefully.

When a bludger came her way, Koko was prepared to hit it with all of her might, and she did so. It helped relieve quite a bit of frustration, and it also helped her to get back into her drive. They could do this. Slytherin would win this if Dan could catch the Snitch. "Let's go, sneks," she said to herself, a determined smile now breaking across her lips.

Elijah frowned as he watched Lavinia get closer, heaving the Quaffle at him again. Really, did it have to be her, again? Couldn't someone else get the Quaffle? Seeing the same face over and over again was getting rather dull... but he supposed that the Ravenclaws were relying on her because she had been so successful already, and that she probably had skills needed to carry out consistent scores- theoretically. He had managed to block her attempts, yes, but she might get lucky at some point. Or he would get unlucky. Or some awful combination of the tw-

Come on, did he really have the Quaffle again? Well, he shouldn't have been complaining- this meant that he was keeping the score at a tie, rather than letting the Quaffle continue to pass him. But... well, while he had wanted to be a Chaser like his sister, that didn't mean he was good at passing the Quaffle. He could feel his hands sweating inside his gloves, the rain beating down on all of them not helping in the slightest.

Scanning up and down the field, he heaved the Quaffle in his hands, sending it sailing through the air. He made eye contact first with Elena, then Dan, and nodded curtly. It was a now-or-never type of situation, and although he knew that it was merely a school game of Quidditch, that didn't mean that it didn't matter to him.

Fuckin' finally! That penalty felt as if it lasted a lifetime! But after flying the perimeter, Alexx rushed back over to her team trying to watch closely to see what she had missed. Still a tie? She was so far out of the loop by this point, Alexx was unsure if she could even really jump in.

She spotted Dan, the Seeker, and something in her mind clicked. This guy is their ticket to winning the game. In other words, Ravenclaw would be after blood here. Alexx needed to be around to make sure that the possibility of something detrimental happening didn't happen. She would trail behind Dan, close enough to be right there if he needed her, far enough to (hopefully) not be too obvious.

It was an understatement to say how disappointed she was that nothing had changed. Slytherin was far too ambitious to risk losing to Ravenclaw, were they not? She gritted her teeth, sneering at those clad in blue around her. Maybe she hadn't been the fairest player so far, but it was starting to feel like it was worth it. But she had other priorities right now. If Dan were to go falling, she'd have to be the one to save him. Part of her wasn't sure if she could handle that, but she didn't want another player down.

Time was passing and the score was still tied. Ruby hadn't quite managed to get the Quaffle from Elijah's pass, and she couldn't help but blame herself for it. She should have flown closer to him, she should have paid more attention and not let the Ravenclaw get in the way. An uncomfortable feeling set in, making her feel like she was solely at fault for the fact that she hadn't helped Slytherin get more points. At least Elijah had saved the attempt at scoring, though. Rain continued to pelt them. Ruby pushed a wet strand of hair out of her eyes in the moment's pause between plays. It wouldn't do to continue with obstructed vision.

She had to continue, playing with her complete attention on the game. She could feel the way that people were starting to get annoyed or discouraged, but hopefully things would change soon. They could do this. After all, Slytherins were incredibly determined and didn't give up easily after they had their heart set on their ambitions. Her teammates were not exceptions to this, as far as she was aware.

She moved back into position, her eyes trained on Elijah, ready as she would ever be for whatever would happen next. Two of their beaters seemed to be down, but they could still win regardless of that, right?

The general vibe of a plan about to unfold filled the pitch, she saw Ruby getting into position, she watched the Ravenclaw offensive begin their play. It was all coming together, Elena realised as Dan and Koko started doing their thing and Alexx fell in step.

The wind pelted at the girl, making her glad her hair was up tight in a bun, if Elena’d had more of a showman’s mind she would’ve tried to find her friends in the audience, but not today.

The plan was in place, all they had to do was execute it. Elena locked eyes with Elijah and nodded, ready?

The game did not seem to be going well for the Ravenclaw team. They were tied for points, but it still felt like Slytherin was doing better than them. Amanda was beginning to fear that they might not win and she was determined not to let the snakes steal the victory. Her eyes flicked to the player she had already selected to be her target and then back at the bludger that was heading towards her. Amanda hit the ball with a resounding whack at that specific player with a slight frown. The Ravenclaw team had to win, they just had to.

Cecily groaned as the Slytherin keeper saved another goal. She had to admit, he was good, but she still wanted to be better. Ravenclaw was running out of options, though. Rain continued to beat down on the pitch, players, and crowd, causing Cecily to shiver. She needed to help her team, and quickly. The girl glanced around the field, surveying her team's situation. She knew what she had to do. As the storm angrily sent down torrents of wind and water, the Ravenclaw began to put her plan into action. Desperate measures, yes, but these were undoubtedly desperate times. She just hoped it would work.
