Aurelia the Prefect emerged from somewhere and cut through the whole ballroom to get to the couple. Meenauh didn't hear clearly what exactly was told to each other, but all of the three seemed to be on the edge of screaming, shouting, crying or whatever else. Marla was fiery again and then the couple left, and then... it all seemed so messy that Meenauh didn't even try to apprehend the situation. And her dress was still a mess. She wouldn't try the spell herself as she didn't want to spoil it even more or do something worse.

As the couple left the ballroom, Meenauh thought that she definitely needed to talk to Marla. Yes, it probably wasn't her business, but that was quite a topic to discuss. What if Marla didn't have anyone to discuss it with? Why was she after boys in the first place? She made a mental note to talk to Marla and right after that a sweet face emerged from somewhere — Euphrasia. She didn't notice Euphrasia was already at the ball, but that was nice to have another friendly person around.

"Yeah, totally. Thank you very much. But the dress is a mess as you can see. Do you happen to somehow learn the Scourgify, by the way? That would totally help me the most right now. I wouldn't want to leave the ball and search for another dress," she answered to Euphrasia in a calm tone, hoping the girl had mysteriously learnt the Cleaning Spell.

For the next moment, Lallie wondered about luck and her relationship with it. It seemed like everything nice that happened to her would be paired with a nice slap to the face. Every time she was proud of her accomplishments her parents would degrade her. Every conversation she had would end with someone being upset, angry, awkward, or hurt. And now this.

She was about to dance with her crush when the chaos unfolded. All she could see was ginger yelling and then suddenly a boy got hit in the face with a broomstick, a bowl was smashed into pieces, and the floor was covered in glass shards. Luckily a brown haired girl had used the Mending Charm to fix the bowl but everything was still crazy.

Millie had grabbed Lallie and moved her away from the chaotic crowd which was a life saver. Lallie is a small girl and basically a human toothpick. If Millie hadn't done that she would have been trampled.

Catching her breath she saw that Millie had run over to the brunette who fixed the punch bowl. Looking past them she saw an angry looking Aurelia. Lallie felt bad, the perfects and teachers kept throwing these parties for us and they always seemed to get spoiled.

She ran over to where the Millie and the brunette were. She knew she couldn't do much but one she didn't know where else to go to and two she wanted to make sure the girl was ok.

"The second years probably know the Cleaning Spell," Lallie said adding to the conversation, "Is Alan here?" Alan was the only Gryffindor second year she could think of, she didn't really have a lot of Gryffindor friends.

"You cannot now believe that you will ever feel better. But this is not true. You are sure to be happy again. Knowing this, truly believing it will make you less miserable now."

The ball had been intended for students of her house to possible have something they could enjoy before the days crept up to the end of the semester. Aurelia had put in a lot of effort in preparing the mini party, from the tables to the food and bowls of punch. She too wanted to celebrate on her part, especially since the house had won last month’s house cup. However, she was beginning to believe that the balls organised in Hogwarts could never be enjoyed, at least not for her.

At least Mr Derook had understood and turned on his heels, walking in the direction of the great doors. However, the red head had bit back hard. Aurelia as a prefect, did not deserve such disrespect. She had abandoned her chance to dance so that she could deal with that matter at hand only to receive stinging comments that hit her like a slap on the face.

Shortly after Marla had made her exit, Aurelia would make hers. Her shoes clicked noisily against the floorboards as she made her way out. Aurelia had enough as a prefect. Over the semester, upon delivering her duties in attempts to ensure the safety of the students of the school, she had been scorned upon and even stabbed. Not to even mention how she had almost gotten abducted while others were dancing in the Blossomball. Aurelia was quitting, no benefits surfaced from being a prefect, it had only put herself in danger.
Aurelia has left the thread.

Alan was looking at Scott, when the boy was not replying right away, which was unlike the taller boy. ”Uhm... Scott? Should I bring that bottle inside?”, he tilted his head and stared at him ”- you alright?”, he asked with a frown and finally he got some reaction out of the boy, as Scott shook his head slowly. ”I think it's the Chocolate, Alan”, the blond muttered, grasping his stomach. Of course, you ate so much at the same time!

”Do you want to go to the infirmary or just-” Alan could not really continue talking as he heard a loud crash, glass shattering as he whirled around to look at what displayed itself within the ball room. Oh no... Alan quickly spotted the scene and a familiar boy that was departing from the scene, rushing towards the door followed by another girl that was all too familiar to Alan. Marla wasn't it? What was the boy's name again, something with Ky-"Kyle wait! Please. I'm really sorry. For everything." well, now he had his answer. His name was Kyle and Kyle had some nasty bruise forming on his face, as Marla followed him out, or not quite out. They stopped closeby to Aurelia. Alan could not really hear what was happening now as his center of attention was switching between Scott, his friend that was not feeling well and some kids that were about to turn another ball into a disaster.

He had heard someone ask, whether there were second years around who knew the Cleaning spell just as Marla and Kyle both walked past Scott and him and out of the Ball Room. They would just leave after the mess they created? Alan's hopes were on Aurelia know, but she too seemed rather angry and Alan blanched when she left as well. How could she leave now, wasn't she responsible for this event?

"Sco-" "You should go and help, they seem to be in enough trouble as it is... I think I'll just head to the dormitory.", the other Gryffindor interrupted him with a distressed face and Alan bit his lip, glancing at the crowd within the room, before he finally nodded "Okay, you wait here then... I don't want you to collapse on the way to the dorm" Scott rolled his eyes at him "Yeah now go and hurry..."

With that he nervously walked through the crowd of people, pulling out his wand from the holder beneath his left sleeve of the uncommon button up shirt. What was supposed to be a fun fay ended yet again in another disaster and the prefect, who should have some sort of resposnsibility, left the scene. He glanced at the girl, wondering if he had seen her before, maybe but he did not remember. But he remembered one girl, the one that had said his name earlier and he remembered vaguely meeting her in the corridors.

He drew a 'S' into the air, stuttering out the incantation and hoped not veryone was looking at him. So the spell was successful as the liquid literally extracted itself from the dress, leaving it spotless, while the mess on the floor disappeared as well. "W-well... that's it, right? I... I think it would be b-best to call this a day.... someone should notify a professor maybe?", he was nervous and hated any form of attention from multiple people.

"S-So... I gotta go back to Scott, he isn't feeling well!"

Before Euphrasia could answer, another girl came closer. Another Gryffindor she never saw. Almost a year has passed and she never saw that girl. Not in classes, not in the corridors, not in the common. What was more frightening that she even didn't remember her in the dorms. What was she? Some stealth master?

But at that moment it didn't matter, because she brought the knowledge. She talked about Alan. Right, a second year she actually remembered from somewhere. She looked around but could not find him.

And there he appeared — the Knight in Shining Armour, gracefully cutting the ballroom through the crowd to rescue the damsel in distress. The blinding light from his...

Okay, not quite.

As if the stealth master girl summoned him somehow, he actually emerged from the middle of the crowd with the slightly uncertain incantation on his lips and pointing his wand somewhere in the direction of Meenauh. The spell worked like magic perfectly and Meenauh was standing fresh and clean again. Probably even better than she looked before the incident. No sign of what Kyle tried to achieve left and the ball could continue just fine. Of course, the Cleaning Spell couldn't clean the memory of what happened several minutes ago with everyone watching. There were other spells for that.

Meenauh didn't study the boy a lot before. It turned out he was stuttering a bit and extremely nervous or shy. Or shy and nervous. Or nervous because he was shy. Anyway, he rushed to retreat in the next seconds after his spell did its perfect job.

"Thank you very much, kind sir," she said while performing a courtesy and slightly bowing to him, "I was going to agree to your proposition to dance, but I see that you have a friend in need, so your help is required again. Don't worry, we'll be fine," she said winking to the girls standing near her.

She definitely didn't get how the whole ball thing should actually work.

Alan looked at the girl, his eyes widening as he slowly shook his head. An invite to dance? He could remember no such thing as offering that the her, so he just stared at her for a moment. Had she misunderstood him or anything? He was not sure and gave her an awkward smile. ”Okay, well then... it was nice meeting you and uh... sorry for the misunderstanding”, he gave the small group a wave, before truning and retreating quickly; or as quickly as his short legs could carry him.

”Let us go, Scott, you sure you do not need to see the nurse?”, he asked when he reached his friend, who looked even paler than before. Maybe Alan should have hurried more! However Scott shook his head, making Alan shrug slightly. That means Scott probably did not want to drink one of the nasty healing potions, but that was fine. Alan lazily walked next to him, not used to Scott being so quiet; he could not blame him though. Having an upset stomach sucks. Sadly he could not do much though, he was no healer.

When they arrived at their dorms, Scott kind of just went to his bed and Alan left him to rest after placing a bottle of water onto his nightstand, before putting away all of their stuff, by lazily dropping it into the corner of the room. He then left to go to the Common Room to possibly meet some of his friends.

Meenauh watched the boy closely, slowly understanding that her joking around didn't have any other effect rather than confusion. It was clearly depicted on his face, so she decided to stop messing around with him and all the smiling just wore off her face as he started to mumble and apologise for no particular reason. She lazily waved at him once he retreated from the spot of his heroic deed, and turned to Euphrasia and another girl, who actually pronounced Alan's name several seconds before he actually appeared.

"Thank you for driving more attention to my little issue and as you saw just mentioning Alan actually summoned him to save the damsel in distress," she laughed quite resoundingly.

She felt like her non-standard behaviour was caused by some nervousness really deep inside. She had never been at parties of any kind, especially balls with all the dresses, though quite informal, but still... She took a moment to study the redhead, who was standing unusually close to Euphrasia. Probably her sister, that was the guess. Meenauh didn't have any siblings, though she always hoped she would find out some mystery or some unknown sibling of herself just popping out of nowhere. Her ancestry was really a mystery and she planned on researching it as well.

"I think I'll be heading to the dorms now. I'm really uncomfortable with lots of people around, especially after dragging that much attention," she addressed Euphrasia and the other girl near her. And left the ballroom just a few minutes after Kyle and Marla. Not to stalk them, of course.
