Holly just sits cross legged, listening to Charlotte explain the basic past of Hogwarts.
"No wonder my father never mentioned anything about being a wizard and sworn off magic unless he has to use it... I guess he had to live through the dark ages..."
Holly, having the reflex of trying to hide her emotions, covers the little shiver that came when the word 'blood-bath' with a shrug.
Holly also felt safe and lucky, she liked adventures and risks, but not when the stakes are so high, in that situation, her hidden paranoia would reduce her into a mumbling pile of ever-shrinking mass. And Holly sure loves her sanity. She's a really moody person. And she hated that she was.
Charlotte ensures Holly that everything was still good between the two. And holly smiles back at Charlotte, to Holly, who thinks in a really different way, Charlotte was a mystery. She was unusually kind, she manages to smile even in the most creepy, disgusting and hopeless sinarios and she is really really helpful, ready to do whatever it takes to get Holly out of trouble, now this is great and all but think amount of pure friendliness was unfimiliar to holly, mostly because she had no friends for being a 'weirdo' back before she attend3 d Hogwarts. Why did Charlotte, a stranger, worry about her when she fell in the librariy? Why did Charlotte, a person who probably also dislikes creepy and gross places dare to go to the abandoned toilets for urban exploration? Is it just because of being nice to Holly? Or did she have something else she wanted? This had Holly worried for 2 days until this very moment, Holly was sure that Charlotte was truly that much of a ideal, superb and awesome friend. Holly appreaciates how amazingly luchy she is to meet Charlotte, the first non family, that she's going to stop actively reading to predict their decisions and be ready and afraid, Because Holly knows that whatever Charlotte was going to do, no matter how unpredictable or weird it is, it would be for the better good.
Holly lets out a sigh of relief, being a bit touched by all the nice things Charlotte has done for her in the past two days. She tears up a little and hugs Charlotte laughing and crying at the same time.
"Thanks for everything youve done for me."
Yes, really emotional and 'moody', but sometimes, its okay to let go. This is the one time Holly didnt hate herself for being too emotional. It feels great, to finally have a friend, a ture friend, no knives behind masks, no Illusions or tricks, no blackmailing. Just true, pure and Trustworthy friendship.

"Thanks for everything you've done for me."
Hearing this brought tears to Charlotte's eyes. Although she was quite surprised Holly had actually made the decision to hug her, she wrapped her hands around her, tears rolling down her cheeks as she smiled. The feeling of having someone care for you and acknowledge the things you did really was one of the best in the world. She smiled, feeling the tears roll down the corners of her mouth.
'Thank you Holly, for being such an amazing person and friend...' she said shakily.
Charlotte had never had a friend quite like Holly, even though she did get along with almost everyone. She enjoyed hugs so much as they often spoke louder than words, and this was one of those meaningful hugs. A few moment later, she broke the hug, wiping her eyes as she chuckled.
'We're not gonna get one uneventful adventure, huh?' wiping her cheeks with her sleeves, looking at Holly sweetly.
She looked around at all the trophies as she took a deep breath, wondering where they ought to go next.
Charlotte got on her feet and held her hand out for Holly to stand up and headed towards the glass cases in front of them.
Charlotte bent down, squinting to see the name marked on the cup. Suddenly she turned to Holly once more.
'Hey look it's Harry Potter's cup. He must've earn it from a quidditch match!'

Holly laughs to that, getting up with the help of Charlotte."we're not gonna get one uneventful adventure huh?"
"Well, yeah, because youre going to have to save my butt every single time i inevitably get into some kind trouble."
She rolls her eyes as she jokes, and glances at the trophy.
"Oh hey its that hero guy you talked about... Quiti- what?"
She touches the carving of the golden snitch and smiles as she remembers what quittich was
"Ohhhh broomball! That thing with magical sentient dodgeballs chasing you and hoola hoops as goals right? Maybe we should play that someday?"
She sounds really excited, and imagines herself speeding on a broomstick. A broomstick how freaky is that?
Holly starts to feel the feeling of Freedom and invincibility. She was unusually relaxed, even more than her normal state, Charlotte was just standing there, but there's something that changed about Charlotte, there wan none of that... hostility of the unknown, no senses of doubt flowed from her. Not anymore, the subconscious analysis on her gesture and expression stopped, Holly wasnt trying to guess what Charlotte was going to do anymore. No more plan for escape, no more thoughts about being betrayed. None of that alien darkness that comes from strangers. She felt comfortable around a non-family member, her first ever genuine friend. It was like listening to a harmony. This very feeling was new and fimiliar at the same time. Holly's eyes widened, as she knew deep down in her mind that Charlotte is the first one she's ever let her guard down towards in terms of non-family members, this could be a fatal mistake, but she didnt care. This feels weird and risky at first. But at the same time it feels so right, so utterly amazing that it overrides her frown to the new sensation of having a trustworthy best friend. Her frown vapourises and a smile appears on her face along with a slight head tilt, Holly felt warm and fuzzy in her chest. This also felt fimiliar at the same time, which makes the sensation of letting her guard down that much weirder, she knows that feeling... it only happens when she's around her mother, father and grandparents. That's it. Charlotte, started to ever so slightly, feel like her sister.
She snaps back to reality as she sees Charlotte waiting by the door just looking confused as she sees Holly stare at the roof smiling.
"Oh! Uh i-im sorry i was just uh... thinking of stuff... real amazing stuff."
She hurries to Charlotte's side.

'I guess we can call it broom ball' she chuckles. 'Although I don't think I'm really into that sport, I think it'll suit you perfectly... You should try out maybe ?'
Charlotte smiled as she sees Holly slowly starting to look more cheerful as she runs towards her.
'It's really a magical room, isn't it? Just to think of all the victories from all the students through the ages...' she said as she glances around the room one last time.
She didn't know what part of the castle they were going to explore next but Charlotte was already looking forward to it. These little adventures were exactly what she needed right now and she felt so happy to do it with Holly.
'Hey, we should meet over the summer huh? It's gonna be hard to not see each other for two whole months' she said with a faint smile, wondering what Holly's family and house looked like.
She exited the room, Holly by her side, talking as they crossed the corridor. Yes, she was going to miss this during the summer.

"Yeah sure! Maybe we can meet up in my house then travel to yours? O-or do it the other way wround maybe... It's up to you really..."
They walk away from the room, chatting as they stroll down the long hallway of Hogwarts, Holly was grateful that she wasnt lonely as before anymore, loving life and living large out here with the nicest girl she's ever met. This is great. She wanted to go to Charlotte's house, and invite Charlotte to her own house, maybe the one in Brighton, maybe the one in California. Who knows? The world wouldve been so terrible without Charlotte, her clumsiness would cause her to bo laughed at... maybe even targeted for bulling. Her life would be a lot more boring, without adventures and a friend to be beside her. So bring to the point where she might even break rules for the rush and the thill of it, and end up in detention, dead or worse, expelled. She smiled warmy at Charlotte as words couldnt discribe how grateful she felt, and how she's basically filled like a thanksgiving turkey but with gratitude, she puts an arm over Charlotte's shoulder.
they chatted as they left the room via the hallway.
