Sonya knew she shouldn't be in the Astronomy Tower.

After all, it's off-limits to First Years outside of classes.

That didn't stop Sonya from sitting by one of the telescopes as she stared at the stars. Even before she became a Werewolf (Which she's rather secretive about, not wanting the negative attention that comes from being a known Werewolf), she had something of a fascination with the stars and the night sky.

For millions of miles, she could see stars being born and dying, lights fading out and being replaced constantly. Fun fact: Over 4800 stars are born every second and at least 1 star dies every 10.

Sonya lost herself in the tapestry of stars and planets that make up the universe and every galaxy within it, neverending and everchanging, expanding limitlessly for billions of lightyears.

Sonya was happy it wasn't a full moon so she could enjoy the night sky in it's beauty.

When Sonya went to London for the first time, she was surprised by the fact that people there thought the beauty of a star-filled sky was over-exaggerated. It actually stunned her, having lived on a mountain far away from any cities her entire life.

Rather suddenly, she was pulled back to reality by the sound of someone clearing their throat, causing her to turn around.

Quinn knew the stars like nothing else. Back in, Ireland Quinn had spent countless hours on her home's roof, just learning the stars name. Quinn had been, well, starstruck when she saw the ceiling of the great hall. Quinn really wanted to be able to go to the astronamy tower but she knew it was off-limits unless she had class. Quinn had a piece of homework that she had needed to get done and Quinn wanted to do it under the comfert of the stars. Quinn had waited in the commen room, pretending to do her homework, until everyone had left. One of the other 1st year ravenclaws, Sonya, had seemed up to mischeif when Quinn had seen her but she hadn't cared. Now Quinn was creeping around the tower towards the telescopes. Quinn gasped as the night sky came into view. The stars were bright and even though the moon wasn't full, Quinn thought that it added something to the sky. Quinn suddenly noticed a girl, lost in thought staring at the night sky. Not just any girl, that's Sonya! Quinn thought. After waiting a little bit, Quinn cleared her throught loudly and Sonya spun around.
"Er... hey Sonya, It's me. Your fellow ravenclaw Quinn." Quinn thought that her words sounded kind of punny but it was to late to take them back and say betters words.
"Ah... Well the night sky is really pretty tonight. Don't you think?"

Sonya jumped up and instinctively reached for her wand. She then noticed it was Quinn and moved her hand away. "Hola, Quinn." She then looked up. "Yeah. It is."
She looked back at the moon and stars and smiled a bit. She then turned back to Quinn. "So, what brings you up here?"
As she waited for Quinn to answer, she grabbed a tarp and moved it off what it was covering: some kind of large handheld launcher. She checked to make sure it was loaded and picked it up. Loaded in the launcher was a strange metal disk. She held it up and pointed above the Forbidden Forest in the distance. "Head's up."
Sonya fired the launcher, and with a quick and sudden noise, the disk flew into the air and as it did, Sonya dropped the launcher and ran over to a telescope. She followed the disk and watched it as it left the Hogwarts grounds. Once it did, parts of the disk began to glow as the electronics in it could function once again. Sonya smiled and stepped away from the telescope before looking at Quinn again. "Don't worry, I didn't just do something illegal. So, yeah. How are you?"

Quinn saw from the corner of her eyes Sonya move her hand away from her wand. Sonya stared at the sky for a few seconds before grabbing a tarp of something. What is that! Quinn wondered.
"Erm... I really wanted to see the stars tonight." Quinn responded. Quinn's eyes widened when Sonya yelled something. Why would I need- Quinn started to think before something flew through the air. Quinn held back a scream. What was that? Quinn wondered. Sonya turned back smiling.
"Er-I-I'm glad." Quinn responded to Sonya's comment.
"I'm good, homework is a beast though." Quinn said with an attempt at a joke. Quinn smiled at Sonya.

"So how are you?" Quinn asked Sonya, still craning her neck to see if the launcher had any other things around it.
"So... Incidentally what was that... thing that you just did?" Quinn asked. Quinn was certainly confused, but Sonya certainly seemed to know what she was doing at any rate.
"You seem to know what you did but... care to explain?" Quinn asked. Quinn looked up at the sky, it was very pretty that night. The stars were twinkling at Quinn, almost as if it knew the answers to life. Quinn teared her gaze away from the sky and looked back at Sonya, waiting for her answer.

Sonya through the tarp back on the launcher and adjusted her black hoodie. Along with that, Sonya was wearing Converse (Or as her aunt calls them, "Super Lesbian shoes"), jeans, and a Whitesnake t-shirt.
"To answer the first question, I'm good. As for the second one, it's a probe a Muggle friend made. They wanted to know about the weather in this part of Scotland, so they asked me to launch a probe from here. Thankfully, I found a map of Hogwarts and my friend is rather good at math. Figured out how long until it would be outside the boundary and set a timer for all the probe's functions. If it was even slightly active while on school grounds it would have fried. Cool, right?"
Sonya looked away again and looked towards where the probe went. "Not smart enough to make one of those myself, but at least it gave me an excuse to come up here. In the middle of the night. With no way to hide from patrolling professors. God damn it."
Sonya smacked herself on the forehead. "Getting back to the dorms will be a bloody nightmare. It's bad I can say I'm used to that."
Sonya chuckled before she pulled out a torch (A Flashlight, for all Americans). A rather primitive one, with a brightly glowing crystal inside blocked by a bit of metal that can be moved to release light. "Want help heading back, unless you have something to do?"

(OOC note: The super lesbian shoes joke was vetted and agreed on by an actual lesbian.)

Quinn nodded as she listened to Sonya talk. Hmm, well I guess I'm glad it wasn't illeagal. Quinn thought. Quinn realized that Sonya had asked her a question.
"Oh-uh yah. It's super cool." Quinn said. Quinn listened to Sonya and her mind started to wander until Sonya smacked her forehead. Quinn watched as Sonya pulled out a torch.
"Oh help back would be great. I didn't come up here for any particular reason. I really don't want to get caught by a teacher." Quinn said gladly accepting her offer. Quinn wished she had a torch of her own but in her bag she only had her homework, quill, and ink in it. It wouldn't work anyway. Quinn realized.
"I guess we should get going. We should probably whisper once we open the door." Quinn said to Sonya. Quinn looked at the sky again, sad that she was being rid of a long night with the stars. Probably a good idea though. I mean, I do have to get up tomorrow. Quinn smiled at Sonya.
"Do you come up here often?" She asked as she made her way to the door. The Ravenclaw tower would hopefully be rid of any prefects as would the stairs to the tower.

Sonya grabbed a satchel she put under a table and looks in it. "Yep. I like the mo- ...the night sky. Calms me. Of course, it means I need a good bag of tricks." Sonya put on the satchel and walked over to Quinn. Sonya held the flashlight with her teeth and started to dig through the bag, pulling out various items that are not allowed in the halls. Not anything that could maim or kill anyone, but simple stuff like Dungbombs and homemade wooden boomerang-like object meant to let out a shrill noise when thrown that Sonya had custom made by a Muggle wood-worker. She then pulled a pair of fake teeth out and put everything else back. She closed the bag and held the flashlight in one hand and the teeth in the other. The teeth, by the way, are another distraction. She got them from the joke shop in Diagon Alley. They walk about 50 feet and then scream louder then any living being in Scotland. Very helpful... and VERY annoying.
Sonya opened the door and looked ahead with the flashlight. She then faced Quinn. "Are you allergic to any of the stuff in Dungbombs? I'd rather not throw one only for you to go into shock."
