Abbey walked in normal speed down the corridor on her way to class. What class?, she couldn’t remember, but knowing it was class she was heading too was good enough for her. She wasn’t a fan of most of the classes yet, other than Charms her favourite. Astronomy was the most boring class in her opinion, but they were all boring in different ways. She had been really exited for all on her first day at Hogwarts, but that was because she for some reason thought it would be easier than muggle school. Magic was as hard as a math question in her opinion and as a half-blood that didn’t grow up with magic around her, she struggled with learning it and getting the questions right too. She was expecting to do more magic than writing about it in classes, and in the classes she found boring she hadn’t done anything other than write and talk about magic. When they got to actually do the magic she knew she would love all the glasses as much as she loves charms. She was sure about it.
The girl walked and walked having no idea she was walking both in the wrong direction and the wrong corridor. She was looking down at the ground as she walked and didn’t pay attention to the little amount of people around her or the unfamiliar corridor she was now walking in. When she finally did look up it was because she had managed to walk into a door that was wide open. It was a door that led into a dark room that looked small and cold. She ignored it, but since she was finally paying attention to her surroundings she realised she had no idea where she was in the castle. She looked around at the empty corridor before looking down at her watch. It was only five minutes before class would start and she had no idea where she was! At this point she was freaking out and stressed. How was she going to find the classroom when there’s no one around and she can’t find anyone either because she doesn’t know where she is! She also didn’t know what exact way she came from because again she hadn’t been paying attention to where she was or was walking. This was not at all what she had planned for the day, getting lost at Hogwarts for the first time right before class!

Dove was still finishing doing her bag with a stress that was growing up into her throat. This was the first time since the beginning of the year that she had to hurry before going to class. Usually, she prepared her things a while before class started, and then arrived in front of the wanted room's door a bit earlier than the other students. Yes, that was how she liked to go to class, without a stress before entering. But this time, it was different. She thought she would have enough time to start her book before getting prepared, but she was wrong, and didn't like it. And of course, because she was starting to get stressed, she had difficulties to put the right things into her bag.
Finally, it was done, but she now had to join her class, and it shouldn't be too difficult since she already had some marks inside of the castle, and for the last classes she went, she didn't have difficulties to join these.
While leaving her common room, Dove realised there were only a few people left in the corridor, also running for their class. "Ho no that doesn't smell good..." she started to panic, so she started running like the others, trying to find where she had to go. However, she couldn't search while being this stressed, so she stopped for a while, clsoed her eyes and focused herself on her breathing. After a few seconds, she already felt better. She didn't know why, but she could easily calm herself when resting like five or ten seconds. But now, she had to continue searching her class, so she hurried, beginning to feel less confident about how she started to knew the castle. After a few minutes, she had to realise that she was completly lost. Finally, she noticed a girl away from her entering into a room. She seemed to have the same age as her and she wondered if they both were in the same class. She decided to join her but realised the room she went to didn't look like a classroom like she used to see. Moreover, the other girl seemed quite stressed like her, was she lost too ?
"Hello, my name is Dove and I am in first year. I don't know about you but I'm completly lost to find my class. Do you know were we are ?"
She didn't know if the girl understood what she said, because she may have spoken too fast, but Dove hope that she could help her.

Benedita Kang-Alves has a carefree aura surrounding her, and if you look in a certain light her hair would look like a very blue halo of sorts. Her vibrant curls bounce as she makes her way through the corridor, she's not completely sure where she's going though, she still just barely knows her way to her classes. Dee's first week of school has been surprisingly pleasant, while she could stand to do better on her class work, it's not horrible just a bit all over the place.
While she was (and still is) apprehensive on the topic of the color green being her house color, she has more or less gotten used to it. Most of her energy goes toward schoolwork and avoiding her cousins, they have an annoying habit of calling her Benny and remarking on how fast she's growing up.
Her legs move subconsciously as she ponders on many different things, she doesn't notice the amount of students in the corridors diminishing neither does she notice the growing pit in her stomach. It wasn't until a very close incident in which she almost ran into a wall that she snapped out of her haze, it all came rushing back, the walking seemingly going on forever and the few students in the corridors.
Her eyes flitted back and forth, she has no idea where she is but thankfully she hears a voice in the corridor in front of her, her footsteps echoed through the almost empty space but thankfully she makes it to where she can see a Ravenclaw talking to another girl, possibly a Hufflepuff based on her uniform color.
The Ravenclaw has black hair and tanned skin and seems to be a first year, though if Dee had seen her in a different setting she wouldn't have know, the girl seems shorter than the average first year. The Hufflepuff looks just as Dee thought a Hufflepuff would look like with her brown hair and freckles, the two seem to be the same height but Dee can't be too sure.
Based on what she heard earlier, it seems that she and the two girls might be in the same predicament, which isn't exactly a good thing but at least she isn't alone. Gathering all of her Slytherin strength she a bit too enthusiastically made her way toward the two girls, "Hello! I'm Benedita but please call me Dee. Sorry for interrupting but I believe we might be in the same situation. I was distracted and now I'm very lost." The smile the had on her face seemed more like a grimace by the time she was done explaining.
It's a bit of an embarrassing predicament but it could've happened to anyone, but Dee unfortunately has no proper sense of direction, which makes her current situation both ironic and sad.

Abbey was now standing in the middle of the corridor stressing about the little time she had to get to class. "Only three minutes!" She thought as she once again looked down at her watch. She walked back and forth for a while and than around in circles trying to think out some sort of plan. No idea came to her mind at the moment and it stressed her out even more. This seemed to be the moment the poor girl realised she wasn’t as good as she had thought at calming herself down.
She sat down leaning against the cold stone wall of the corridor. She knew she would be late for class at this point and deep inside knew she would probably be late for the other class after that too. She really had no idea where she was and she had definitely not been in this part of the castle before.
As she sat on the floor leaned against the wall with an upset look on her face a girl appeared in front of her. "Hello, my name is Dove and I am in first year. I don't know about you but I'm completly lost to find my class. Do you know were we are ?" The girl asked talking really fast. Abbey understood what the girl asked, but had to take a minute of silence before answering. She stood up and brushed off some invisible dust of her robes. In the time she stood there thinking quietly to herself another girl walked over. "Hello! I'm Benedita but please call me Dee. Sorry for interrupting but I believe we might be in the same situation. I was distracted and now I'm very lost." Abbey was glad she was with someone now, but it wasn’t such a good thing that both of them were lost too. She looked at them with a friendly smile (the silence moment she had was just her trying to take it all in) and introduced herself. "Im Abbey and… well I’m also lost. I have absolutely no idea where we are"" Abbey felt like the two students in front of her probably wasn’t shocked that she was also lost, but she still felt like she had crushed some hope clarifying it.

What was the worst that could happen ? A, that Dove ran into a girl who would laugh about how DUMB she had been to go to class when almost everybody was in their respective room ? Or B; just another girl lost just like her and then they would both be in big troubles ?
Well, it was neither A or B, but C : two other girls who were lost.
She first looked at the Slytherin girl, Benedita, who seemed to didn't seem to be this stressed. Even though her eyes were really dark, she seemed like a colorful person.
Then she turned her head in direction to Abbey, who was the girl she first ran into. Great... now, she just hoped the three of them were in the same class, or it would be a bit more complicated to find her way.
"Okay, well, if we all are lost, that means we now have three brains to think about, first, were we are, and then, where should we go."
Dove didn't know why, but she loved when things were organized, which wasn't really the case for the moment. And that was why this needed to change, because she really didn't like this sensation of not having any control of the situation. She looked at both of the girl next to her and realized she still hadn't ask the most important question :
"But by the way, which class are you supposed to have ? Because if we all have the same, it would be much easier to find our way."
Sorry girls for being this late

"Im Abbey and… well I’m also lost. I have absolutely no idea where we are." While the newly introduced Abbey spoke there were two things Dee noticed, 1) She look as if she was at her wits end and 2.) The friendly smile she gave both Dee and Dove doesn't cover up the anxiety she must be feeling.
Dee doesn't know how Abbey feels about physical contact, so in response she gave her a sympathetic smile, "Don't worry, I'm sure we'll find our back to our classes." It felt more like she was trying to convince herself instead of the brown haired girl.
As soon as she was done hopefully calming Abbey down Dove spoke, "Okay, well, if we all are lost, that means we now have three brains to think about, first, where we are, and then, where should we go." Dee couldn't help but smile at how easily the Ravenclaw was able to keep herself calm and collected, kudos to Abbey as well, that takes a large amount of restraint. Even Dee herself his struggling to stay calm.
Dee nods along the girl's words to show that she's paying attention, a small, not too cheerful, smile occupying her face as she ponders.
Her smile gets slightly tense as she recalls the class she was heading to before she got distracted, Defense Against the Dark Arts, why is it that every other subjects comes just slightly easy to her but she is just dreadful at Defense Against the Dark Arts?
"I was heading to Defense Against the Dark. Is that where the both of you were heading?" On he outside she's calm but on the inside she's frantic what if she's the only one going to DADA, although she'd never admit it, the corridors of Hogwarts is quite off-putting and just plain ominous even when they're basked in sunlight.
The smile that was on her face faded as the possibility of being alone weighed on her shoulders, the weight lifted as she fiddled with the locket on her neck, she'll be fine. She always is.

"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll find our back to our classes." Dee said with a sympathetic smile. Abbey smiled slightly back. Her smile was like those "thanks, but I don’t really agree smiles", even though she was grateful that the girl wanted to help her calm down. Abbey didn’t disagree, but it was hard believing it in the moment, that they would find their ways too class. It felt like they were lost in a maze with no help around, and Abbey was also worried they would lose house points and get detention for being late… or for not showing up at all.
"Okay, well, if we all are lost, that means we now have three brains to think about, first, were we are, and then, where should we go." Abbey looked at Dove as she spoke. The girl seemed clever and it gave her a bit more hope that they would get to class. She looked at Dee who was nodding, the girl seemed to be agreeing and so was Abbey. Good! They kinda had a plan now! Before either of the girls could answer Dove asked them a question that sounded really important, "But by the way, which class are you supposed to have ? Because if we all have the same, it would be much easier to find our way."
Abbey began thinking deeply. She knew she knew what class she was heading too, but it was just all blank for some reason. She must of been in her own world as she had been walking down the corridor, because she really couldn’t remember anything. Before… when Dee answered, "I was heading to Defense Against the Dark. Is that where the both of you were heading?" "Of course!" Abbey was struggling more to remember the names of the classes than she had thought she would when she came to Hogwarts. "Of course it was DADA!" Abbey nodded before she answered them both, "Same! I was also heading to Defense Against The Dark Arts!" The relief in Abbey’s eyes and voice was very clear as she talked.

When Dove heard the Slytherin's class, she first started to frown because she had a quick moment where she couldn't remember her class, which was very stressful for a girl like her, and then she smiled and let a sigh of relief escape en lips. However, before answering she wanted to know which class was Abbey heading before going before getting lost. Indeed, if the Hufflepuf was supposed to be in another class than Defense Against the Dark Arts while knowing both of the other girl were, she could be stressed, and Dove wanted to analyse the situation first. But when Abbey said she had to be in the same class as them, she said a bit loudlier than she expected :
"Oh yes, me too !"
Before realising they were in a corridor, maybe some class that were taking place near them, so she closed her mouth quick before saying again :
"I don't know what are the chances that we are heading to the same class, but this is clearly easier now to find our ways back."
She looked around her, there was still no adults, prefects or even ghosts who could help them, so they definitly needed to help themselves.
"I think this would be a bad idea if we decide to walk in different ways, because this would be the best idea to get lost again, and alone. So we have to stay together."
She took a quick pause before thinking of what she could add next. She didn't really like to be like the "chef" who was taking all the decisions, but she was so stressed she needed this to be clear.
"Besides, if the three of us arrive at the same time in the class, we could easily explain what happened to the teacher, and then I supposed he could easily trust us ?"
Her voice almost broke at the end of her sentence. She didn't want to see the professor reaction, and she was not sure about what she just said.

""Same! I was also heading to Defense Against The Dark Arts!" The smile on Dee's face threatened to widen as relief washed over her body in calm waves, Well that's one less thing to worry about. She and Abbey were heading to the same class, the realization was bittersweet, at least there would be someone she semi-knows there to suffer with her.
She didn't realize that she was still fiddling with the locket burning a metaphorical hole into her chest through the uniform, when she let go of the offending jewelry, she settled for running a hand through her hair.
The smile that was once directed toward her thoughts was now, with less teeth, directed at Abbey, "That's great Abbey." The smile on her face melts into more of a failed attempt at her house's signature smirk.
She fought the urge to smile widely as she seen Dove's face go from sort of stoic to thoughtful, you have to admit that it's funny that after getting lost it takes you quite a while to remember where you were heading in the first place.
Her thoughts were interrupted by Dove's suddenly triumphant face, "Oh yes, me too !" The smile no longer threatened to appear as it formed on her face. Both because the words seemed to come out louder than Dove meant for them to and because she would have two people to question her life choices with.
She fought the urge to high-five the Ravenclaw as she once again assumed the role of a natural born leader, she nodded furiously when Dove spoke of not splitting up in case they get even more lost than they already are.
That is definitely a horrible idea, they'd most likely find Dee rocking back and forth calling for her mother, okay maybe that's an exaggeration but it could happen. But when Dove spoke about speaking to a professor, Dee spoke, "Yeah, I doubt anyone could get in trouble for getting lost and the teachers seem nice so far." She shrugged nonchalantly.
Dee's self control broke as she pat Dove's shoulder, the girl seems nauseous at even the thought of the professor having a not-so-positive reaction to their tale, she pulls her hand away from the Ravenclaw as she delivers an flustered apology for touching her without permission.

This was great! All the three first years were heading to the same class and was most likely classmates for the rest of the year. Right? Abbey thought about it for a moment. Did they change classmates throughout the year? Maybe Abbey, Benedita and Dove had been transfiguration classmates since they started here, but they just hadn’t noticed each other in class yet? If they were going to be classmates in transfiguration then maybe it was a chance that they would become friends. Abbey would have liked that, as she already thought the two girls seemed like good and funny people with cool personalities.
Dove seemed to be taking the role as the leader, which was something Abbey didn’t mind at all. When she spoke Abbey could quickly understand why she was chosen to be a Ravenclaw. She was really smart and kept calm. Her plan of not walking in different directions seemed pretty simple, but it was obvious smart and it was good that she said it out loud so that the communication between them wasn’t the reason the situation got worse.
Abbey agreed with the others. There was no way they could get in trouble for getting lost in this huge castle! "Mhm… I don’t think we are going to get in trouble for getting lost. And I mean if we do we are at least getting into trouble together, right?" She wasn’t sure if that was something the two girls would look at as a positive thing, but for here it seemed better then getting into trouble alone.
