Dear Mr. Peter Pan

Irina has no purpose and she doesn’t know where she’s going. She didn’t know what she was walking away from, she didn’t have anything she needed to walk away from, all she knew was that she needed to find somewhere, anywhere that wasn’t here to satiate her tears. It’s already been a few weeks ever since she found herself nestled to hogwarts as her home, but nowhere did her tiny little legs could she find a place where she could feel the air breathe on to her skin as if it called out her name and only her name alone. Where a smile was nothing more than a means to an end, she missed her home.
‘Run.’ Slowly her steps became louder and louder as if she was desperately searching for that dream of perfection and naivety she used to have, for that childhood she felt she lived through but can only now call a dream. Running through the forest ignoring all the bruises and leaves flying through her crystal-like jet black hair.
‘Run you foolish girl!’ She didn’t know when she finally broke apart, but it certainly showed judging by the waterfall that flowed through her puffed cheeks and red eyes. As much as she tried to hide it by hurting her lungs, she couldn’t, she just couldn’t.
Irina doesn’t know where she is, and she doesn’t care. She missed the familiarity that came with the term ‘freedom’ when it meant more than breaks in between classes, where she could be alone in her room dancing to every song she’d find before her brother would yell at her for interrupting her studies, she missed her brothers, she missed her father who would raise her as high as the sun to fly her above him, his tiny angel.
But she knew her brothers didn’t miss her too, she knew they only missed her role in their stupid picture-perfect family and she knew looking at her dad would only make things worse. But it doesn’t change the fact she misses them, they were her entire world, and they still are and now suddenly she was forced to go to this…prison.
Irina doesn’t want a purpose, she doesn’t want to grow up. She thought getting older could only mean she’d be as tall as her brothers, that she would be able to see the world, and watch the movies her brothers watch but it felt so painful the more the years went by, the fighting and the responsibilities, she just wants to be free. She just wanted to go back to being a kid, after all, as they say, ignorance is bliss. Where the only solace there is, is when she walks around her common room and watches as the time and clock goes by. Before ending up being brought back to her bed by her remaining consciousness.
Irina just wants to go back home. Suddenly a loud ‘crack’ and a thump was heard as the girl fell face on the soft ground, she was lucky she didn’t suffer a bloody forehead, well maybe a scratch but she was far too gone in her own pessimistic consumption to even notice, let alone the many bruises and scratches on her knees. Last but not least the leaves dressed her hair and robe everywhere, as if she was a Christmas ornament.
She felt so lucky there were no such eyes that would see her like this, but even in the most quite of places, the girl felt pressured still to hide her sobbing cries, but as any crybaby would know, even she was already aware it, it only gets harder the more you hold it in. Like putting cold water into a hot glass full of pain. Everything hurt and she was so, so tired.

Dear Mr. Peter Pan
"Hey...are you alright?" Jack asked as he rushed over to the fallen girl, concern evident in his face as well as his voice. The older student had just been reading some books up in a nearby tree when he'd heard the crack and thump and saw the girl lying face-first on the ground. Naturally, he'd had to drop everything - literally - and jump down from the tree before racing over to her.
It wasn't until he got closer that he realized she was crying. He slowed his approach, a little unsure and cautious. Had the girl come from the Forbidden Forest? Was she another hag is disguise? Was she just playing a victim to gain sympathy?
Well, too bad, because if she was...it was working. Jack knelt beside her as he tried to help her up and look her over for major injuries. Fortunately, she didn't seem too hurt. "What's the matter? Were you...running from something?"
She seemed very young. If she was really a student, she was probably a first year. Was she, perhaps, homesick? Maybe she had come outside for some fresh air and a change of scenery. "Maybe if you tell me what's wrong, I can help you. Would you...like to try?"
