Hi! My name's Alana and I could not be more excited to be a witch! My brother, Samuel, has been telling me about Hogwarts since I can remember! For a while there, I thought that I wouldn't be magical (we come from a muggle family, you see) and I was so upset! Of course, my brother had been telling me that I had shown signs of magic when I was four, but I just wouldn't believe him. Then, almost out of no where, I saw proof that I was magical!!! I'm ecstatic to be attending Hogwarts, and I can't wait until classes start!
When I got sorted into Hufflepuff, I was surprised. I am glad, but a little sad that the other houses began to call me rude names. My new found friends told me they were just being rude, so I didn't mind the bullies after that! My older brother brought me candy from a place called Honeydukes after he heard, and that was rather nice.
My favorite cousin, Emily, has to stay with us most of the time because her parents are always away. We're both glad to be with each other, mainly because (at the time) we didn't have many friends our age.
