Alone for Dinner

Aria was starving. She just had her first full day of classes, and she was exhausted. Her most recent class right before dinner was Charms. While Charms was a lot of fun, it did leave her very tired and hungry. After Charms class all of her fellow first years rushed out of the classroom to the Great Hall for dinner. Aria had only been at Hogwarts for a few days, but she was still bummed that she hadn't really made any friends to sit with during dinner.
As Aria entered the Great Hall, her starving feeling left her pretty quickly, because she was left with a new feeling: lonliless. Who was she going to sit with during dinner? Aria was pretty social, so it would be unusual for her to eat dinner alone. But it's not like she had any friends to sit with.
Aria found a good spot at the end of the Ravenclaw table for her to sit at. She pulled out her Charms book so it would look less awkward sitting alone, but it still didn't feel right. It's times like this that made Aria miss home.
It's okay, after all it's only the first week. I'll make friends soon enough.
But Aria didn't realize how soon that would actually be.

Alone for Dinner
@Aria WrightA few days had passed since school had started again, and after a very boring day, it was finally time for dinner. Since the last two classes were History of Magic, Tori had overslept even though she didn't want to, so she was feeling very hungry. She dropped her bag and quickly left the common room.
When she got to the Great Hall, she felt louder than usual. Normally she would sit next to his friends, but this time she wanted to stay away from the noise so she moved to the end of the Ravenclaw table.
When she looked around, she noticed that she was sitting next to someone he thought was first-class from her appearance. She had a book of Spells in her hand. Maybe making friends wasn't such a bad idea.
"Hello. You seem to be alone here. Do you mind if I accompany you? Although it was a bit ridiculous to sit down and ask."
She couldn't hold back her laughter when she thought about this. This is how her hair managed to turn blonde. She was no longer tired.
"My name is Victoria. Victoria Lena Jones. But if you want call me Tori or whatever. What's your name?"

Hello. You seem to be alone here. Do you mind if I accompany you? Although it was a bit ridiculous to sit down and ask.
Aria looked up and was surprised to see another girl sitting in front of her. Aria has seen this girl around school. She was a second year, so why isn't she sitting with her friends? Aria thought it would be rude to ask though, so instead she said:
Sure! I wanted some company anyways.
Aria smiled at the girl. Although she didn't say it out loud, Aria tried to let the girl know that she was very grateful for her sitting down. It was already pretty awkward sitting alone, but it felt better once this girl sat down.
My name is Victoria. Victoria Lena Jones. But if you want call me Tori or whatever. What's your name?
Tori. That is a nice name! Aria had a distant cousin named Tori... maybe... she wasn't really sure. Aria had a great big family, so it was hard to keep track of them all. She lives with just her brother and mother though.
My name is Aria Wright. My mom is a singer, and used to sing in the opera, so she decided to name me Aria. Which works, because as it turns out, I'm a singer too.
Aria took a deep breath to stop herself from talking. Sometimes she talks to much.
It's nice to meet you Tori! So are you new here too?
While Aria knew that Tori was a second year, she didn't want to make Tori feel awkward about not having anyone else to sit with. If that was even the case.
