Closed A Relaxation Sensation Alexandria Clark

─────It was a nice and cool Friday evening in June. June is quite a lovely month, all the flowers were in full bloom, and the heat was much less intense after 3 pm. It was on this evening that Alexandria found herself strolling through the grounds of Hogwarts near the Great Lake. She smiled fondly as she passed by its shore, she remembered the time she had met her good friend (and now crush), Prat by the lake. It was a day she was quite unlikely to forget. How could she? He had made quite an impression on her.

Today, the young Gryffindor wore a pair of denim shorts and a white tank top, with a faded pink and blue flannel shirt over it. Her long and shiny brown hair was put up in a simple, yet eloquent braid, which laid over her right shoulder. Alex carried a small faux leather satchel, which contained her wand, sketchbook, pencils, and some other art supplies.

As she was walking through the grounds, taking her time to observe the scenary around her, Alex heard something moving through the grass nearby. The source of the sound turned out to be a ferret who, like her, was out for a stroll. Since when were there ferrets out here? I doubt they're native to this area. She laughed softly as she watched the ferret for a minute or so, how cute! A moment later, Alex heard a voice call out, "Squeaks! Girl, come back here." The ferret, in response to the voice, turned around and ran in the opposite direction of her. She watched as the little animal ran up to a girl sitting a few meters away Alex hadn't noticed before. The girl looked to be at least a year or two older than her.

The ferret, whose name she assumed to be something along the lines of "Squeaks," ran up to the girl who gave it a treat, then turned back to what seemed to be a sketchbook. Alex, being a curious person by nature, strolled up the girl and her ferret, "Hey, your ferret's really cute! Mind if I join you?" she asked with a smile, pulling out her sketchbook from her bag.

21/06/24, 16:30PM Kayla looked up at the girl who had spoken. She appeared to be at least a year younger than her, and she was dressed just as casual as Kayla. She had her own bag and pulled out a sketchbook. They seemed to have similar plans for the day after their lessons. What a coincidence. "Hey, what's up?" Kayla said with a grin and patted beside her. "Take a seat. I'm Kayla, third year. That's Squeaky." Kayla gestured towards her ferret, who was an absolute social menace and didn't even register the other girl's appearance, but when Kayla said her name, Squeaky peaked out from a bush where she was venturing. "She's definitely not the biggest people person I've met," Kayla admitted fondly as Squeaky scurried away to who knows where. "But you could try calling her, and she'd answer like she hasn't been ignoring you the whole time. And oh! How rude of me. I didn't ask your name, did I? You are?" Too often, Kayla babbled before letting another person get a word in. It was kind of he thing. When she was younger, Aiden would actually try and tape Kayla's mouth shut. That didn't work out too well. For Aiden, anyway.

─────"Kayla..." She repeats the girl's name. "You have such a lovely name!" Alex sits down next to her and sets her bag down next to her. "And of course Squeaky is quite fitting for a little ferret." She laughs softly to herself while she watches Squeaky rummage around in a shrub.

"Oh, well, I've forgotten to introduce myself so I'm at fault as well. I'm Alexandria, but you can call me pretty much anything other than that. It's about the most boring name a girl could be given and I've got it," she sighs. Alex had never been particularly fond of her name but the amount of time she's heard her parents say it disappointedly has caused her to dislike it.

Her gaze wanders back over to Squeaky who's still preoccupied with the bush. She smiles, "I've always wanted a pet of my own, you know? I mean, back home we have Valkyrie who's meant to be my cat but she hates me. Actually, she hates everyone except for my grandfather who I think she only tolerates." Alex chuckles, remembering how Valkyrie would scratch up all the curtains except for the one in her grandfather's study. "Do you think cats can have prejudice?" She asks half joking as she flips through the pages of her sketchbook looking for a blank one.
