lost in the books
At first her visit to this place was no grand thing. She merely stumbled within the room seeking some form of entertainment produced by letters and such. Imogen didn't expect a maze of opportunities. Her eyes hungrily scanned the shelves, wondering which dusty cover is to nest within her palms today. There were- short to say many options.
She sunk deeper inside the hungry womb of the enormous library, books turning older and older. Somehow the smell of them gifted her an odd type of comfort. Recalling to have gone far too deep her quickened footsteps eased, a huffed breath escaping her. Apparently, the excitement sent her running. Ah, this was truly fun. The more Imogen explored the fuller her heartfelt. furthermore, she was never calmer without her uncle by her side.
Thinking of said male sent her mind flying towards stories of skilled detectives and such. Just like him, the heroes seemed to be very tired one way or another. How could they not, Imogen questioned, they work so hard to stop the murderers and thieves without any naps included! A horrible fate if you ask the light ash red-haired girl.
Pouting, she surveyed multiple shelves seeking out a novel section that may own a story she could find sanctuary in. If not to remember her uncle who still worked hard at home, to enter another world. One where maybe magic is the norm and not such an odd discovery. Like in Hogwarts.
Unsurprisingly, the search for one specific section was difficult. Hence why Imogen is currently aimlessly walking in-between rows and rows of books her mind could not remember the name of. Wandering through her own kind of wonderland.

Fumiko considered herself someone who has no sense of direction. Every lane and tree looked the same and she swore she already saw that sign three times.
Fortunately, this was not the case for Hogwarts Library. She frequently visited this library so much that she didn't need help from the seniors anymore! This satisfied her greatly. Although...there was still one problem no senior or teacher could help her with.
She eyed the one peculiar book on the 5th shelf. From the spine, it was a book about different wizard cultures. Fumiko is currently having some sort of phase where her interest t for the wizarding world knowledge developed into thirst.
She wanted to know so much more of the Wizarding World that she was now part of. Her short height just had to ruin it. She couldn't count the times she tried to stand on her tip toes and reached out her arm till they hurt to get that book.
It was unsuccessful...obviously.
There were no stools nearby
There was no one around
And those magical hands that resided in the shelves that suddenly gives you the books you want weren't doing their jobs.
With a loud sigh, she stopped trying to reach out for the book. She could assure herself that she was still 11 and that she would grow taller as she ages but even at this age, she was always the shortest one in the class. The one that had to go to the front of the line when lining up.
She heard the sudden shuffle of shoes looked into that direction. To her surprise, it was another student. Hufflepuff even. With ash red hair that Fumiko didn't see often. Then again, she barely notices what happening around her.
The red-haired girl looked at peace as she aimlessly walked though rows of books. She was probably lost. Fumiko wanted to leave her alone in her own world until she noticed the girl's height.
Ah~
A cunning grin formed on Fumiko's face as a not so devious plan formed in her brain. Taking a deep breath, she put on her ' Good girl ' mask and silently walked towards the red-haired girl.
Fumiko caught up with her but she didn't seem to notice her. It was fine, Fumiko never had a strong presence, she was used to it. Plus, it was amusing to watch the girl so free.
With a gentle voice, she spoke " A-ah ...excuse me? I'm sorry to disturb you but...would it be alright if you help me grab a book? "
Please say yes please say yes please say yes
If all went well, she would get her book, Fumiko could show the girl which section she was searching for to show the girl how nice she is and after a lot of ' thank you's ' and ' no no thank you's' , they will go on their way and never have to speak to each other again.
Perfect.

lost in the books
Andromeda had never been into the hogwarts library before, and as she stepped into the massive wave, she felt like it was her home. No where else in hogwarts felt like this, the shelves reached high up to the roof, and the library seemed never ending, she felt like she was in a dream.
Andro closed her eyes and took a deep sniff. The smell of books always took her to her happy place, where she could get away from all the taunts. Andromeda opened her eyes again, and as soon as she did, she saw a book that caught her eyes... Hogwarts, A History
Andromeda reaches for the book, and although she was so small, she was surprised by her luck to see, that as she missed the book and clumsily knocked over a book from the shelf below, the book she wanted also fell. Smiling to herself, Andro picked up both books, looking around, she found a secluded couch, perfect.
On the other side of the library, she watched as a fellow small girl tried to attract the attention of a taller one. Andromeda recognised this situation. It always happened to us smallies, she thought.
Sighing as the girls dissapeared behind another shelf, Andro took a seat on the couch and fell into the world of the book...
Oh no, nine o clock. Everyone had left! She better go, Andro hastily grabbed both books, checked them out and rushed to her dorm.

You know when you’ve read a good book, when you turn the last page... and feel a little (okay, okay... a LOT) as if you have lost a friend.
