The Girls' Lavatory was slightly brighter than normal. The Sun was hitting it perfectly, so the sinks were aligned with light, and they could be seen from a mile away.

Millie ventured through the halls of Hogwarts. She wasn't wearing her Gryffindor robes, but it wasn't a school day, so it shouldn't've mattered. She was wearing a light pink jacket and black leggings. She hated jeans, and refused to wear them. So don't plan on having her wear those. On her feet, rainbow Converse shined against the dim outfit she was wearing.

She clutched an old and tattered book in her left hand, and her wand in her right hand. Nobody else was up- or, nobody she knew. But that was good, nobody would be able to find her, and watch her open the Chamber of Secrets.

The Chamber of Secrets, the only reason Millie went to the Girls' Lavatory. To open it and find out all of Salazar Slytherins secrets. To find out why the Chamber was even made. But it would all be ruined if someone decided to explore Hogwarts and walk into the open Girls' bathroom.

"Ope-"

But when someone opened the bathroom door, Millie gasped. She broke from the Parseltongue, and whipped back her brown-black hair, and her Amethyst eyes flickered from the girl standing across from her, terror seeping in her veins.

Lallie yawned, rubbing her eyes. She had stayed up late last night reading, but she needed to get up early to ask Professor Henley about last night's homework one on one. She never liked asking teachers for help when other students are waiting for help because she feels like they're judging her for taking so long. She made sure to put on her robes over her everyday outfit, even though it was the weekend since she didn't want to get in trouble with the professor.

On her way down to the third floor, she felt the sudden urge to use the bathroom. Not knowing the school very well she stumbled through the fourth floor until she stumbled upon a bathroom. It was too early in the morning for Lallie to deduce that this bathroom was the one the girls always gossiped about so she just walked right in.

Upon entry, she saw a brown-haired girl at a sink. She paid no mind to her until a second later the girl whipped around in shock. She jumped back in surprise. 'That's a little weird' Lallie thought, 'Then again I would be scared too if I thought I was the only one awake.'

"Oh s-sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I just needed to use the bathroom," Lallie said taking off her robe about to walk into a stall. Underneath her robe was a plain blue t-shirt, white jeans, and her favorite light pink Converse. Looking at the stall she noticed how the paint looked worn and chipped. She looked around the bathroom for the first time. The mirrors and tiles were cracked, the faucets were rusted, and half the sinks looked like they haven't been used in ages.

Since she didn't want to use a stall that wasn't working she awkwardly asked the girl, "H-hey um do the toilets work?" Lallie immediately started blushing from embarrassment.

The girl hadn't realized what Millie was doing, thank god. However, she also seemed extremely awkward and Millie was still having trouble breathing. How was she supposed to explain that she wanted to open and explore the Chamber of Secrets to another student? And the other student was a first year, exactly like her!

One better thought, however, was that the Chamber had not begun opening, for, Millie had not a single clue how to get it to stop, and reverse the effects. She had discovered how to get in, and barely found a way out, but closing was a different thing. Did it have a timer? Was it supposed to stay open for an hour and then shut instantly? Should she just say close and then hope for the best? It was scary for her.

"H-hey um do the toilets work?"

Millie hadn't really been paying attention, her eyes dawning on the book laying on the floor, just a foot away. The cover had been rubbed off, but the words hadn't. Inside was an entire inscription on how to open the Chamber, and she wondered if it said how to close it, as well. Could she open it from the inside?

"Well duh," Millie said. "They wouldn't give the only girls bathroom in the school non-working toilets." Her accent had transferred to the American one, and she shook it off. Her accent had begun to change so often Millie had a hard time understanding herself. Sometimes it affected her spelling. Sometimes she'd spell it 'grey' and other times 'gray'.

"That sounded quite rude, sorry," Millie offered an apologetic smile. She did sound rude in her American accent. "I'm Euphrasia, by the way, but you can call me Millie."

Lallie switched her eyes over to where the brown-haired girl was looking. Sitting on the floor was a book that looked pretty old. She didn't pay much mind to it, I mean why would it be strange to have a book in a school?

Her face flushed even redder when the girl responded to her question. 'Duh' Lallie thought, 'Why would this girl be in the bathroom if the toilets weren't working.'

"Oh, this is the only bathroom on the fourth floor? I never really noticed. I normally just use the one on the first floor." Lallie said.

She noticed the girl's accent changed to American. 'Hmm maybe one of her parents were American, or maybe she moved from America recently.' Lallie thought before discarding the thought.

Lallie regained some of her composure when Millie told Lallie her name. She doesn't know why, but whenever she's in a bad situation, simply knowing the person's name helps tremendously. 'Euphrasia...' Lallie thought pondering the name. She remembered it from the Greek part of her history classes. It meant cheerful or something like that.

"It's fine. It was pretty dumb of me to say. I mean why would you be at the sink if you didn't just use the toilet." Lallie said with a small chuckle, "I'm Lallie, nice to meet you."

Lallie then remembered she had to use the toilet. She quickly ran to the stall and locked herself in.

Millie was in fact, not going to the bathroom to use the toilets. If opening the Chamber was to be anything close, she guessed she could call it using the bathroom. Oh well.

As the girl, Lallie, went into the bathroom, Millie had a revelation. Should she open the Chamber and get in, or just wait it out. If the girl decided to come out of the toilets a second too early, she could see the Chamber, and Millie would have all of her secrets exposed. She did not want that. Her body froze, it was now or never.

She leaned forward to the sink with the snake on it, and made sure her voice was quiet enough to be heard by the snake, but not by Lallie. "Open." She hissed.

The loud scraping of stone and limestone entered Millie's ears. She ignored it, bending down to pick up her books and wand, her fingers tightly clutched over the Cherry wood. Suddenly, a noise she was terrified of, entered her ears. She turned around and saw Lallie, opening the stall door. Millie dropped her wand and book, and reacted extremely irrationally.

She sprinted over to Lallie and pushed her away from the stall, to the corner of the bathroom, her face built with terror. She covered any view of the other girls of the Chamber opening, and suddenly threw her hands beside Lallie's head, completely blocking the smaller female with any view, except Millie.

Lallie was pretty up close. She could spot every single detail of the smaller girls face as she looked at her. Millie couldn't help but giggle a bit.

"Sorry 'bout this. But I really can't let you see what's behind me."

As Lallie was in the toilet when a sudden wave of sound hit her eardrums. She could hear what sounded like a rock being run across a surface, except it didn't sound like one rock, it sounded like a hundred rocks.

Lallie quickly finished her business and unlocked the door. She was about to ask Millie if she was alright when she saw Millie barrelling towards. Lallie immediately froze in fear as Millie shoved her to the corner of the bathroom.

Millie threw her arms beside Lallie preventing her from seeing anything, as well as blocking a way for Lallie to leave this position Millie put her in. Not like Lallie would want to anyway, she was too busy being in shock from the entire situation.

Lallie looked up at Millie and realized the panic in her eyes. She wondered what was racing through Millie's, but had an inkling it had to do with that screeching sound.

"Umm Millie what's going on?" Lallie asked timidly. She tried to make sense of this situation. Lallie's mind immediately went to the worst.

"Oh my god. Is there a boggart or dementor back there?" Lallie asked, terrified. She's never seen one in real life, but she's read enough about them to know how dangerous they were.

Lallie crossed her arms in frustration. Did Millie honestly expect Millie to just stand here pressed up against her with complete acceptance?

"Millie I don't need to see what's out there, but could you at least tell me what's out there, and/or why you needed to press me against the bathroom corner to force me into not seeing it?" Lallie asked locking eyes with Millie to try to get her point across.

Up close with Millie now looking at her eyes, Lallie noticed they were purple. She never actually saw a purple-eyed person in her life. They were pretty beautiful and kind of reminded her of an amethyst jewel at the heart of her mother's favorite necklace.

Questions spluttered from Lallie like someone sopping from being dunked underwater. However, Millie had no idea how to explain the situation at hand. Her lips were opening and closing, trying to gather courage to answer any of the small girls questions. Though, she had no answers.

She tried to say something, but only muttered something in Parseltongue. Suddenly, she removed her hands from the sides of Lallie. Her hand was over her mouth, and she took a few steps back. God, Millie hoped Lallie had the worst eyesight out of mankind. Please.

And then she turned around, and to her surprise, the Chamber was no longer there. Instead, there were the four stone-basin sinks, and an old, rusty mirror. A sigh of relief escaped Millie's lips. Thank god, her secret was safe once more. Another question arose though: How was she going to explain this situation to Lallie, without telling her exactly why she thundered towards her like a horse?

Millie finally knew how to answer her question. Though, she was going to need some conformation before she explained.

"Can I trust you?" It was the only question that left her lips. She was terrified of Lallie telling her secret to the school, but she had to be brave. She was in Gryffindor, after all. "I'm a Parseltongue. I tried to open the Chamber of Secrets again to try and explore. I just didn't want you to see."

Hopefully it was enough for her.

Lallie was waiting for her Millie to say something, anything. Instead, Lallie heard the faintest sound of what sounded like a snake. Millie then, finally, removed her arms from beside Lallie's head and placed them on her mouth instead.

Lallie looked over past Millie to see what was so important for her not to see that Millie need to press her up against a bathroom corner. What Lallie saw was ... nothing. Lallie cocked her head in complete and utter confusion.

"Umm, Millie there's nothing there. What did you not want me to see?" Lallie said searching around the bathroom to see anything different about the room.

"Sure you can trust me, I guess," Lallie said raising an eyebrow at Millie. Lallie didn't have any clue why Millie needed Lallie to trust her.

Lallie burst out laughing at Millie's response. She knew it was probably rude since Millie probably interpreted it as her making fun of Millie, but she couldn't help it. Lallie always used humor as a coping mechanism and so much weird stuff had happened in the past ten minutes she couldn't help it.

"Oh god I'm sorry Millie, I'm not laughing at you," Lallie said regaining her composure, "It's just that I started out today wanting to get some help with my homework, and now I'm learning that the Chamber of Secrets is a real place and that a perfect stranger I just met in a bathroom is a Parseltongue."

She was laughing.

Millie hoped that Lallie's laughing wasn't directed towards her. She was quite pretty, and it would've been very embarrassing to have a pretty girl laughing at her. Even if there wasn't anyone to see, it still would engrave a spot in her mind for forever. Well, maybe not forever, but long enough.

"Oh god I'm sorry Millie, I'm not laughing at you, It's just that I started out today wanting to get some help with my homework, and now I'm learning that the Chamber  of Secrets is a real place and that a perfect stranger I just met in a bathroom is a Parseltongue."
Well, that was better than anything she expected. At least Lallie was nice about it, though it was still embarrassing. As stated before, Millie really thought Lallie was pretty. Perhaps maybe being able to look at Lallie up close wasn't too bad.

Though, questioning her sexuality right at the moment, while she was looking at a stunning girl, was extremely confusing. She was 12. Not 24 with a girlfriend, but, the thought of growing to be 24 with this girl, and maybe marrying her and adopting children was such an amazing idea-

What are you thinking Millie? This girl is probably straighter than a line! Millie should be straight, as well. Would her parents still love her? Maybe, but it was a chance she was terrified to take.

"I- I'm really sorry. This must be so confusing and overwhelming, I didn't want to come off so brash. I just needed to tell someone about it, because nobody would believe me, I think. Everything is so confusing, I'm so, so sorry."

Lallie's face immediately flooded red with shame. She had made Millie feel bad for sharing her secret to Lallie! 'Stupid, stupid, stupid!' Lallie thought, 'How would you feel if you shared a big secret to someone and all they did was laugh?'

"Millie I'm so sorry, I really shouldn't have laughed," Lallie said walking towards Millie placing her hand on Millie's shoulder. Lallie wasn't quite sure what she should do in this situation, but she remembers that her mother would always do this when comforting her.

Lallie felt warmer when she got close to Millie. She was also blushing more than she already had been from shame. Hopefully, Millie wouldn't notice her face getting more red.

Lallie hadn't really had any romantic relationships or anything like that before she got to Hogwarts. Sure she had the occasional crush when she was like 7, but that was about it. She saw most of the people she interacted with in her childhood as friends or annoying.

When she was with Millie though, she felt different. She was defiantly prettier than any girl she had met in Manchester. Lallie hadn't really questioned her sexuality before because she never really needed to. She was only twelve after all, but what if she did like girls? Would people judge her for it? Would it just be another reason for her parents to be disappointed in her?

She didn't quite know, but right now she had to reassure Millie that she wasn't in the wrong and that it was stupid of Lallie to laugh.

"It is a little overwhelming for me, but that doesn't matter." Lallie continued, "I believe you and you didn't come off as brash. You being able to speak Parseltongue must be so confusing and stressful. I can't imagine what you're going through. I use humor as a coping mechanism, but that was totally uncool of me to laugh after you shared that with me."
