River had decided to take a break out by the Great Lake on the first Saturday of the new school year at Hogwarts. The newly graduated Second Year, after a week of classes had needed some time to herself to get used to being around people again. She'd only had a few interactions with others over the Summer, other than that she had been on her own with her family in the Luxley estate.

The girl was accompanied by a small dark furred feline, a Bewitched Midnight Stalker River had gotten over the summer hols that she had named Nótt. Her familiar was trotting alongside her, playfully weaving in between her legs every now and again, nearly tripping her multiple times.

The girl trailed along the edge of the Great Lake, gazing over at the still, clear waters and allowing the serene silence to embrace her. Suddenly, River felt a force push her from behind, hearing nothing but mocking laughter and Nótt hissing before her entire body was submerged in the ice-cold water.

She flailed in the water struggling to stay afloat before a hand grabbed onto her arms and pulled her up onto the lake shore. "Th-Thank y-you," River managed to stutter out as she looked up to see both her attacker and saviour, along with her worried pet fussing over her the second she was back on dry land.

Ahh now it's my second year here. Last year I made some friends and made some enemies. The first week of my second year were hard. It's hard to go from out frolicking with your friends to going to class and listen to the teacher drone on and on. I needed a good laugh. I watched a girl come out of the castle with a black cat. Mate, a black cat isn't really considered lucky here in England. She walked to the edge of the black lake gazing at the murky water.

Ho ho she's at the edge of the lake. Ohh the look on her face when I gently nudge her towards the lake. The weather was still warm in my opinion so I don't need to worry about frostbite when she falls in. That would be a good laugh.
I snuck behind her quietly and gave her a small push and SPLASH! in she fell headfirst into the dark green water. I didn't even push her that hard. It was a love tap. I sniggered when I saw the look on her face when her head bobbed out of the water.

The cat hissed at me when I pushed her in. I hissed at it back and it scurried back a few metres. I looked back just in time to see a boy helping the girl out of the water. I watched amusingly as the girl thanked her 'saviour' I couldn't resist the chance to tease them
"Aww how cute." I mocked.

Coming to the great lake for fun was one of his favorites activities in his first year at hogwarts. This magic school was perfect for his part veela specie that he needed to control. His childhood had been difficult; He had to remain hidden because of the part of him that was more difficult than himself. With Hogwarts, through the courses of spells, defense against the forces of evil and much more, Swan could now control himself and he was proud of it. He had made a few friends and was always trying to help everyone else. As much as he can.

So that day, while walking by the lake, he came across -and fortunately!- a girl who had just been pushed into the water. Why fortunately? If he had not been there, it is certain that the girl of his year would have become a block of ice, or, if she did not swim, would have drowned. As soon as he saw her, he ran to her and her "pusher," then took her arm and pulled her out of the water. She thanked him, but Swan didn't care, or at least almost, more interested in the state of the dark-haired girl, who turned out to be a Slytherin. "You're ok?"

He gave her the cloak he was wearing on his back that day, positioning it correctly on his shoulders. Oh mon dieu... He was too preoccupied with her that he hadn't even realized that the "aggressor" was still behind them... Swan stood up, now facing a dark-haired boy of his age. "You, shut up" which he returned to her, seething with anger. It couldn't be... You can't push a young girl into the lake and then laugh! No way...

The boy put his cloak on the girl who was dripping wet. The boy had curly hair which dropped to his shoulders and dark brown eyes. From his cloak, it looked like he was from Hufflepuff. He turned back and glared at me.
"You, shut up" he said, the anger written on his face.
It was just a little joke, no need to overreact. I raised my hand in surrender and took a step back.
"Hey, it was just a little joke. No need to overreact mate." I replied calmly.
I didn't even push her that hard. The girl also didn't really have good balance in my opinion. Also, there's no need to make a fuss over getting pushed into the lake because that part was quite shallow. I'm pretty sure you can just wade to shore. No need for someone to save you. The boy could be just seeking attention by 'saving someone's life'. Good-looking people tend to quite narcissistic from my experiences.

I have to admit the boy was pretty good looking. I had thought that a handsome boy saving a girl from drowning only happened in movie and tv shows but here it is. It just happened right in front of me. Now this is the part where they kiss and declare their love for each. I only know this because I sometimes watch TV with my parents.
"Are you guys now gonna kiss or what?" I said with a smirk on my face.
